Fantastic experience: Oh, The Movement Project don’t I have a review for you ️‍♀️ OMG! As a neurodivergent, this gym is like a wild rollercoaster ride for my brain. The bright lights, loud music, and constant chatter (possibly defiant attitude) make it feel like a sensory overload party. It’s like trying to solve a Rubik’s cube while doing burpees. The Movement Project is like a comedy club with dumbbells! The weights are so heavy, I'm convinced they're secretly trying to build a team of superhero members. Be prepared for a serious ab workout from laughing too hard! Jolien should come with a warning label: Dangerously funny! I've had so many hilarious moments mid-workout that I've almost fallen over...more than once! And last but not least, The Movement Project has been my sanctuary during tough times. The weights became my therapy, the atmosphere my escape. With every drop of sweat, I left behind my worries. It's not just a gym, it's a place that helped me find strength, both physically and emotionally. Forever grateful 5 stars for guilt, 0 stars for my motivation!" 5 stars for the laughter-induced six-pack, 0 stars for my coordination!" ️‍♂️ 5 stars for the unintentional comedy, 0 stars for my ability to lift anything!" 5 stars for the unique neurodivergent workout experience, 0 stars for my brain's ability to keep up!" 5 stars for the life-changing experience!"

Fantastic experience: I was the girl constantly jumping from gym to gym until I found TMP. After a year I’m still not bored and even look forward to showing up! Coach Jolien has created an amazing community of people. She knows the days you need to be pushed and the ones where just showing up is enough. And there are even puppy cuddles for that extra push! Nothing is impossible including modifying workouts for any skill level or injury. Even a moon boot isn’t a good enough reason to not show up! If you want a gym where no one notices if you show up or not that isn’t TMP. But, if you are looking for a community that helps keep you accountable and makes you think getting up at 5am is a good idea come join!

Fantastic experience: Run, run for the hills… you’re going to become addicted to this place: You’ll tell everyone you know about this amazing gym you’ve joined. You’ll start pushing yourself towards lifting heavier and heavier things, doing more burpees, more planking! You’ll start bringing your kids, your partner, your buddies. You’ll make lifelong friends and laugh your way through early morning workouts. You’ll develop an amazing sense of self, based on your ability to do hard things. You’ll discover you actually enjoy working out, and you’ll do it all with a smile on your face… eww!

Fantastic experience: "Hands down, this gym is the Disneyland of workouts! Forget Dumbo, I'm flying high on endorphins here. The only rollercoaster I'm riding is the one from flab to fab. Joilen is the gym unicorn—magical, motivating, and occasionally spotted with protein shakes. Five stars for making sweating feel like a party!"

Fantastic experience: A great and welcoming gym and community surrounding it. Jolien - she’ll assesses your limits then encourage you past them, will make you laugh when all you want to do is cry, then have you coming back for more. Do yourself a favour!

Fantastic experience: If you've been searching for a gym where the weights aren't the only things lifting your spirits, look no further than TMP Gym! Let me start by introducing you to the brains behind this bicep-building paradise—Jolien! Picture a combination of a motivational speaker, a stand-up comedian, and a personal trainer all rolled into one outrageously enthusiastic and surprisingly flexible package. You know what's even better than a coach who walks the walk & talks the talk? Someone like Jolien, who practices what she preaches! She's always filling her 'down time' with strongman comps, triathlons, and other badass fit person things. She's a true inspiration! ️‍♀️‍♀️ Now, onto the facilities! TMP boasts state-of-the-art equipment that's as shiny as Coach Jo's smile (which, trust me, is pretty darn shiny). Whether you're a seasoned lifter, a 'bro lifter' or perhaps a newbie just testing the waters, there's something here for everyone - and fear not, cleanliness aficionados, because TMP is so spotless, you could eat your protein bar off the floor—though I probably wouldn't recommend it... But what truly sets TMP Gym apart from the competition is the sense of camaraderie and community that permeates every inch of the place. It's like 'Cheers'......but with dumbbells instead of beers. The moment you walk through those doors, you're greeted with high-fives, fist bumps, and maybe even a spontaneous dance party or two. It's like a family reunion, minus the weird uncle and with a lot more protein shakes... Don't overlook the classes! Whether it's MOVE, RESIST, or FLOW, there are countless ways to break a sweat!! Coach Jolien has created a supportive and welcoming environment, ensuring new parents feel supported while they work out—with a tiny human in tow if needed. Jolien often has a baby rocking in her arms, and you bet she can still correct your form while doing so. (Can someone say baby whisperer?) These classes not only deliver results but also offer a supportive environment where bringing a baby in a pram, a toddler, or even a dog is encouraged. The gym community is vibrant and dedicated to keeping you active! ✨️ In conclusion, if you're tired of cookie-cutter gyms where the only thing getting pumped is the generic pop music, do yourself a favour and pay a visit to TMP. With Jolien at the helm, you'll laugh, you'll sweat (or if you're like me, you might complain ), and you'll wonder why you ever considered skipping leg day. Trust me, your quads will thank you later! ️‍♂️

Fantastic experience: Came looking for a Crossfit adjacent cult, but found a welcoming friendly community instead. 12 months ago I walked into the Movement Project Adelaide being able to lift some heavy things, now I lift heavier things..sometimes by choice, ... sometimes because Coach Jolien switches my weights. Whether you like cardio and weights, or don't..., I would recommend! If only for the self prescribed therapy.
