Positive experience: No calf raises that's y it's a 4 out of 10 because no calf raise machine it's so annoying taking the plates on n off the smith machine to do it. Besides that good environmental decent machine could use more plates though.

Fantastic experience: I love training at AF Glenelg because the equipment is always accessible, making it easy to have a great workout. And on hot days, I love heading to the beach afterward.
Fantastic experience: This is a fabulous Gym. It has great friendly staff who really take their job seriously. This in-turn creates a great community spirit. Not only do they have a huge amount of equipment, outstanding facilities but there is parking near by. I would like to recommend that you visit this Gym, you'll be glad you did.

Negative experience: It's so hot in here and it's not even summer my God
Fantastic experience: Service standards have been lifted under the lovely and hard-working Stephanie. She keeps everything spotless and in working order. Minor negative is the stretching room is occupied by a lot of morning classes and seems to take priority over the main gym. The former being used only by about 10 to 20 older ladies and the latter by the other 980+ clients. YMMV

Fantastic experience: Great gym, facilities, and friendly staff. Treadmills overlook the coast and ferris wheel. Quite a large stretching / floor work area. Will be going back whenever staying nearby.

Fantastic experience: I started off at Glenelg just after it opened. I moved away but as I was in Glenelg decided to use the gym. no greeting as you go in.no internet in fact no TV or anything else. Some machines taped off cant use, a big area with nothing on it. machines with the covers ripped. etc etc It was once the best now, well if I was looking for a gym I would say pass. give me Walkerville anytime

Negative experience: Maybe the worst gym I've been to. The door is hard to find. Not a clear signage on the outside. The gym's small. All the equipment are old and outdated. For some reason these equipment seem to be designed only for really tall people. I'm an average sized girl and for a lot of equipment my arms and legs can barely reach. The variety of equipment is small. For some targeted training I can't even find an equipment for it. Can say Anythingfitness Mitchell Park is much better. The only thing this gym has is that I don't have an issue with the cleanliness. Other than that, I don't see any attractive qualities that make me want to recommend it to friends.

Positive experience: First time I came in none of the staff said hello or greeted me. It was a bit of a let down considering all the other anytime fitness I've been to the staff showed me through... nice refurb... it's good enough for most of what you need.

Positive experience: going there regularly, it's a bit small and I wish they had more machines for legs, but it's good enough for now. The location is perfect, the staff is always polite and friendly. UPD: the bathrooms are really smelly, they should be cleaned better.

Positive experience: A very good gym with good ventillation in an excellent location with all equipment needed. Even a sled which is great! My only recommendation to management is to secure to rowing machine on the right.

Positive experience: Overall it is a decent gym, with a fair open space and 3 bathrooms with shower, there is also one change room. In my opinion the equipment it's a bit worned out, and this could be an improvement for future. However, the equipment works well with no issues when we perform the exercises. I haven't had much contact with staff but they seem to be nice and always say hi/hello when I get to the gym space.

Positive experience: Aircon doesn't work, the water fountain has been luke warm for 3 months now. The vending machine doesn't take card. The classes are at times only suitable for the unemployed or retired .

Fantastic experience: Spacious well equipped gym with well maintained equipment. Generally not overly busy during the day so can usually use the equipment you want to use at some point during a visit. Staff are very friendly and ready to help. Classes also available.

Fantastic experience: One of the best Anytime Fitness locations New equipment, really clean, well set out! All the stuff I like to use - punching bag, 2 rowers with space around them, and lots of squat/power racks with a new deadlifting area (note: no chalk marks/dust seen ✅) Proper change facilities so ok for pre and post work training Great parking and better view Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Very nice gym located on the corner of Jetty Road and Rose Street. Convenient location. The manager of the gym, Ryan is friendly and a very pleasant person. The equipment is good and the change rooms and shower facilities are excellent. There are a couple of rooms apart from the training area where classes are held and which can be used for stretching or working on your own. Finding a place to park on the side street (Rose) is generally not a major issue

The group fitness classes that are run don't cater for full time workers who work out of the area unfortunately. Staff are friendly and accommodating however, and the membership price is good.
