Fantastic experience: Kindergym at Glengowrie suits us so much better than other locations. It’s one big room so if you child does want to participate in group time, they don’t have to. They staff are also welcoming and helpful.

Negative experience: My child was doing warm ups, star jumps in a row, my child got whacked in the eye. The injury was quite bad and the coach didn’t really care they gave us a zip lock bag of ice that was nearly melted, highly not recommended

Negative experience: A coach came up to me and my Son and said we weren’t welcome because they only teach girls.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic facilities. Mel is an outstanding teacher that ensures every student is catered for. She is caring and takes the time to ensure every student is safe, happy and learning. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Very poor administration, sent them an e-mail and yet to receive a response after five days. Facility is almost below par compared to other similar facilities around. NOT RECOMMENDED

Negative experience: I had reviewed this organisation before with 4 stars but after being involved for a while became very disappointed. Very money hungry for a non for profit community organisation and it soon became apparent that getting new paying students in the door was far more important than teaching skills and making connection with the children. We were asked to change the day of our class, then found out that a huge number of new students were brought in on the class we were asked to reschedule. Not enough parking or viewing area and when it became obvious that there need to be more area especially for siblings it was with a heedless attitude. Zero communication with parents and no feed back with the students. The organisation needs leadership and some direction with the staffing as they seem as confused as the students. Will do more research before getting involved with the YMCA in the future.
