Fantastic experience: Great place, great club, great people. Thank you for having me while visiting Adelaide. I'm just disappointed I couldn't get to the afternoon session. I will definitely come again next time when in town. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Was in Adelaide for a few days and wanted to get some training in whilst on my holidays. The facilities at Arruda are amazing. The guys that train here are very technical, but more importantly very welcoming and friendly. The instructors are great and I learnt some key details in a short time period which I feel had improved my game. Such an amazing inclusive club who made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped into the gym. Would definitely come back and train here if I'm visiting Adelaide again and would recommend anyone who's in the area to come and visit.

Fantastic experience: All the coaches are amazing, as I do mostly evening classes I get coached by Leo, Michael and Liz who are incredibly skilled and patient with everyone. All the members are respectful of each other. Couldn't recommend this gym enough.

Fantastic experience: Super friendly, fun place. Everything you or the family would want to keep fit and enjoy the classes.

Negative experience: Cancelled my daughter’s membership in April 2023 after my daughter was injured in a class. Logged into my bank in January 2024 to see they have debited $51.50 with no authority. Called up to rectify and the person on the phone told me it’s my problem and good luck getting my money back. Asked to speak to someone who could help me but she declined and told me to send an email. Called Westpac to raise a complaint and they were super helpful. Very poor (ex) customer experience

Fantastic experience: A great training atmosphere in an excellent facility. Had a great time in an early morning session whilst on an interstate work trip. Was given a warm welcome and enjoyed the technique session, followed by sparring.

Fantastic experience: Arruda is a great club. Very welcoming with a great camaraderie. The facilities are great, with a huge matted area for bjj. The instructors are high level, knowledgeable and professional.

Fantastic experience: Our friends invited us to come train along with them while we were on a visit. They are both long time members with the gym and we wanted to share the experience. Waz was such a great host and trainer and made us sweat. I particularly liked that he kept an eye on everyone during the circle training and corrected our posture and motivated us. We will be back tomorrow and every time we visit Adelaide. Thanks Waz and team from your swiss mates

Fantastic experience: We were visiting from Switzerland and enjoyed a HIIT training with Waz. They were all so friendly and welcoming and checked on us during the exercises. One day later my muscles are sore but I can‘t wait to go back.

Fantastic experience: You won’t find a better BJJ Gym than Arruda. Prices are affordable, facility is the best in SA, members are great, staff are friendly and head coach Leo Arruda is the best you will come across! Can’t recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: Great facilities , coaches and training partners . Ideal place for anyone interested in BJJ , from beginners to experienced grapplers. There are also yoga , gym and Muay Thai classes available but I can’t comment on these as I haven’t tried them. They look good though !

Fantastic experience: With limited experience in BJJ I have experienced top level instruction from all of the coaching staff. The positive environment of this club is second to none. Pat Lim the striking coach is a fantastic trainer and a top bloke as well as the rest of the coaching staff. Leo takes the time to remember each individuals name, which may not seem like a big deal, however it shows his commitment to know his students and also his character. Fantastic club hands down.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym with great facilities and huge space dedicated to BJJ. Most important of all really nice people and good atmosphere. I just showed up for a class without previous notice and I couldn’t feel more welcome. Definitely your choice for a BJJ club in Adelaide. Hope to be able to come back soon guys! Thank you again! Fantastic experience: I bought my 6 year old boy Max to see if he would like Jujitsu even though he’s not into sport yet. It’s now been about 6 months and I can honestly say I love this place and more importantly so does he. The men running this place are absolute gentlemen. There is also a nice community feel to the place that is extremely family oriented. If you’re trying to keep your child of computer screens and want them to engage/develop in more social and physical activities then this is and excellent choice!
