The owner michael is always a top notch host and has garnered a great culture for squash and racquetball at the club. The venue has bar facilities, a viewing deck and an outdoor area for summer days. Perfect for a group activity or a hit week to week.

Genuinely great people with a passion for the sport and helping people give it a go. Very glad to have discovered these courts. You can’t go past a SuperDry in the beer garden after a sweaty squash sesh. Love your work guys, keep it up!

Fantastic experience: Wednesday night social squash in Adelaide is the best. A great group of welcoming people, the emphasis is on fun, and we can enjoy a drink at the bar after a game of squash.

Fantastic experience: The Somerton squash centre is forever changing. Always some new addition to keep us returning, not to mention the squash! Michael (the owner) is always pleasant, greets you with a smile, a story and always extending his generosity. I have been a member of Somerton squash centre since the beginning of the year, and after meeting a few of the other regulars, make sure to play a game at least 3 times a week. The courts are always clean, usually pretty available at a number of timeslots, well lit, and generally in good condition. Drinks are available, Gatorade, softies and even a selection of alcoholic beverages to suit the social feel. The beer garden is coming along nicely and will be a winner come better weather, family and kids are welcome too, which is nice. The TV, couches and now a pool table keep the kiddos occupied if Michael can't convince them to pick up a racket and racketball and have a hit themselves. The gym is well stocked with the generally expected equipment for a quick warm up or a dedicated session. If squash is your thing, or you are intrigued to give something new a try, I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: The recent renovations have really created a unique and friendly vibe. Being a first time player I really enjoyed the club vibe and the brand new modern bar facilities just capped off a great first experience. I can’t wait to head there again and kick back with a drink in their outdoor beer garden which feels like a Balinese tiki hut theme. I’d recommend anyone thinking of having a social squash hit try Michael at Somerton
