Fantastic experience: Fitness Cartel Albion Park is the best gym I have trained at! They have so many machines and most importantly a crèche for my little one with the most caring workers. Wont go to any other gym!

Negative experience: Disgusting monetising policies and contracts son used gym for 6 months became ill not able to use the gym since had to wait for contract to end or be charged $200 cancelation fee once contract date was up called to cancel membership was told must send in writing and that they must have a months notice no manager available to speak to no customer service just wanting more money avoid this franchise at all costs

Fantastic experience: This is a fantastic gym. The staff are authentic and friendly, the gym space is expansive and extremely well equipped with high quality machines and accessories. The biggest drawcard however is the crèche, which means I can train while my kids are looked after. Feta, Marianne and the other crèche staff are warm, professional and caring with all the children. It gives me total peace of mind, as a busy mum, that my children are well cared for while I workout. I highly recommend Fitness Cartel Albion Park.

Negative experience: Requested to have my last week of payments waived as it fell 1 day short of the 30 day notice period in my debit cycle. Hadn't been to the gym in months due to health, trying to avoid any viruses & germs. Received an email in the meantime that my fees were going up. After emails and phone calls, I was bribed to have my last 2 weeks waived to leave a 5 star review. Don't believe all the reviews you read...

Fantastic experience: I have been training for over 20 years and no other gym compares in the Illawarra. I recommend this place to all.

Fantastic experience: FC is your one-stop Fitness shop. The decor is moody-dark and neon night-club chic. Not essential, but pleasing if trendy is your thing. The place is kitted out with the current world-class Techno-gym equipment. Free weights, olympics bars and power-racks are plentiful. The rest-rooms are superlative and include wet and dry saunas. There are bookable fitness classes and a creche. They have a wide supply of fitness supplements and even a cafe providing protein shakes. Another great bonus is the bioelectrical impedance scanning. What better way to objectively measure progress towards your gains, fat-loss and various other metrics? My only criticism is the current inability to blue-tooth connect cardio equipment (esp. treadmill) with Apple Watch/Android. Nearby competitor, Club Lime has this feature on treadmills, bikes, stair master and ellipticals. It’s incredibly helpful to be able to view heart rate while running, without having to keep looking down at the smart watch. For a gym that ticks all the boxes, this has been a noticeable omission. It’s worth mentioning the minority of members who ego-lift and dress immodestly to feed their narcissistic supply. Don’t be put off - just don’t look. If you don’t give it oxygen, they’ll eventually go elsewhere. Other than that, highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Wow what an amazing facility. From the very first interaction with the front of desk staff to management i had a professional and helpful response. The atmosphere is friendly with other members and not your typical testosterone filled negativity. The equipment is 5 star and it was like I couldn't wait to try all the amazing machines. The dedicated boxing studio was what was my key point as I wanted to do boxing classes, the studio was kept clean and maintained to a high standard. The main group exercise studio was also first class. I highly recommend this gym and I know that this is the standard that all gyms should be at.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym for so many reason's. The staff are friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome, the trainers are amazing especially bec haha I'm biased she is my trainer and she is amazing goes above and beyond. The bathrooms are the best I have seen in a gym. The classes are great and so are the instructors. Last but not least the beautiful Feta and Marry Anne are so lovely and my kids wish they could go to cre he everyday. Couldn't ask for a better gym . Thank you Steve for your hard work in making this gym so great.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here since January, 5 days a week independently and 1 day strength training with Bec. E. My overall fitness has improved immensely. I've not been a member of a gym where I have felt more comfortable and been offered guilt free help. I can train with confidence and ease.

Positive experience: Went there when it was called genesis, thought the rebranding would mean a change in culture. However, the only change has been to dim the gym and add LED lights. It's quite intimidating to new commers as you'll have the front mirror taken by guys doing 20 sets of db curls while the squat bars will be loaded with weights while no one uses them. Look, In my opinion, the price is not worth it and the gym itself is only good when it's quiet. The equipment is great although not a fan of cable systems.

Negative experience: Unfortunately fitness cartel isn’t worth the hype. I’ve been there since the club was known as Genesis, then changed to Vibe. It is way to busy and you have to constantly wait for a machine. Hence why my partner canceled his membership. Staff are disorganised and do not take liability as they lost his cancelation form, and have still been charging him for over 6 weeks now.

A real diversity of people there Great classes and tonnes of equipment I personally don't use but it looks like others love. Staff are friendly. Best of all it has a creche with lovely ladies who run it. For me, I can work out and know my daughter is enjoying her time too.

Fantastic experience: Omg want to give this place a bad review to keep clientele numbers down:) signed up this week when I seen the place and what's included. It has State of the art equipment and facilities alot of thought and money has gone into the place, I have been to a lot of different gyms over the years and this is on a another level. The joining fee very pricey around $130 which discouraged a lot of mates I know from coming in the past but the $50 joining fee going atm untill November was enough to sell it to them. Anyways too much to mention about the place get a free tour of the place and get instant depression going back to the sht hole your in now if I'm wrong message me back here :)

Positive experience: I do fitness classes .. pump.. yoga .. great instructors.. but since the Reno they are having trouble getting the air con at the right temp … 7 and 11 degrees is far too cold to be exercising safely… hopefully they’ll get it right soon …

Fantastic experience: Love it, its a bit intimidating because its all out in the open. The equipment is all new and fresh. The bathrooms are amazing with hair dryers, straighteners and sanitary products are provided. The bathrooms could pass for a modern hair salon with sorna lol It isn't finished quite yet but is already by far the best gym that ive been to and the crèche staff are AMAZING!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place! It's my happy place. The equipment is awesome, the creche is great and the creche staff are so friendly my kids love them! Bathrooms are fully equipped. I am yet to try one of their huge array of classes but excited to try them one day.

Negative experience: Good gym with lots of equipment but the vibe is still the same. Show offs looking at each other all the time. Also was frustrated you closed the creche (understandbly for renos) but without any notice was annoying. Super expensive too.
