It appears there might have been a misunderstanding regarding the cancellation process outlined in your contract. As per our records, we did advise that a 30-day cancellation notice is required for terminating your contract. Additionally, we noticed that you removed our direct debit authority, and despite our attempt to facilitate the final payment through a provided link, there seemed to be a discrepancy in the amount paid. We sent an email clearly detailing the outstanding balance of $33.90, yet you made a payment of $67.80. In an effort to rectify this oversight, we kindly requested you to contact us by phone so we could initiate the refund process for the overpaid amount. However, it seems you opted not to engage with us to resolve the issue. Dear Ashley Angel, We regret that you've had to endure ongoing difficulties stemming from last year's incident. Upon further investigation based on our records from December 2020, it was found that you left weights and used wipes on the floor after a training session. Additionally, you were observed bringing a friend into the facility, which contravenes our policies. When approached by the manager to address these issues, it was reported that there was an altercation during which inappropriate language was directed at them. As a result of these infractions, the matter has been escalated to head office. Regrettably, your home club has determined that your behavior does not align with our standards and, consequently, access to the Darwin facility has been revoked. Hi Dale, sorry to see your bad review about our club. We believe the reason for your 1-star review was due to our club closure on Friday, July 14th. As we have already explained to you, we have made every effort to inform our members about the temporary closure of our gym on Friday, July 14th such as placing signs around the facility and shared this information on social media platforms. Initially, we had announced that the club would be closed for one day, from 7:30 am until Saturday, July 15th 2023. However, we managed to reopen the club at around 5:00 pm on the same day for our members. It is important to note that renovation periods are sometimes necessary for any club, and they can range from two weeks to 30 days. We believe that the club was not closed for a significant period. We apologize if you feel otherwise, but our intention was to ensure the long-term functionality and safety of our club. The closure was necessary due to the outdated lighting fixtures, which posed a risk of falling at any moment. I'm sure you wouldn't want to be in a situation where lights could potentially cause harm to you or those around you. Therefore, prioritizing the safety of our members is our utmost concern. We hope this explanation sheds light on why we had to close the gym for less than a day. Although so, we would like you to continue using our service and let us know if there is any feedback. We can only enforce no towel-no training policy during staff hours. However, we will not be able to control during unstaff hours. It will come to every individual’s hygiene. We had a group meeting and confirmed that our staff have been consistently implementing this policy. Upon review of your case, we sent you a cancellation form on 2nd of May 2024, however, we have not received a response from you until 23rd of May 2024. Therefore, we processed the cancellation with 30 days cancellation notice on 23rd of May 2024 as soon as we receive the cancellation form from you. As per the record on the system, you mentioned “F” word over the phone call with our manager because the gym was closed one day for renovation. We apologise for the inconvenience that might have been caused by both incidents. Hope we can deliver a better service and get a 5-star review from you in the future.
