Fantastic experience: Love this gym. Been coming here for 16 years. Started with the kids in the Crèche and swimming lessons. Now my whole family comes to the gym. Love the HIIT classes and yoga, lovely facilities, friendly people and beautiful outlook over treetops. The trainers and instructors are all excellent and lovely people too.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for the past couple of years, and have really enjoyed my experience here. The whole club is very welcoming and the community here is friendly. The gym is always looking great, with awesome equipment, and it’s never too busy where you’re waiting on equipment. You get free classes here with a normal membership, and they’re all great with a wide variety of skill level. After workouts I like to head down to their sauna & steam room for some post workout recovery, and even include a swim sometimes in their indoor or outdoor pool. The rooftop area is beautiful! A true hidden gem, and has some of the best sunrises in perth ☀️

Positive experience: This place is great. Beautiful grounds, lovingly maintained overlooking the city, and Kings Park. My quality of life is really good since I joined about 12 months ago. Having experienced the place in operation through summer, autumn, winter and spring, it's awesome. I can't really find fault with anything really, the thermostat in the sauna may need replacing and appears broken, but it's still a great sauna, even if we don't know the temperature, my favorite sauna in Perth. I love swimming in the rooftop pool, and hitting the gym first thing in the morning. I attend the yoga classes as well when I can, and they are good too. The coffee from the cafe is good , the staff are very helpful as well and I enjoy eating dinner there with my daughter after vigorous activity, when our appetites are monstrous.

Fantastic experience: I had a CT scan of my cervical spine, which indicated a right foraminal disc extrusion at C5/6 impinging upon the exiting right C6 nerve root. This condition was causing numbness in my right thumb. I scheduled an appointment with personal trainer Sara G., who has extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with musculoskeletal issues. I explained my problem, and she provided me with targeted exercises tailored to my condition. After a month of following her expert recommendations, I experienced a remarkable improvement, with the numbness in my thumb resolving completely. I highly recommend Sara G. for her thoughtful, knowledgeable, and effective approach.

Fantastic experience: Creche in Next Gen is amazing, my both kids grew up there and always love going. Stuff is very friendly and accommodating. Also they have shaded outdoor area, where the kids enjoying time outside. My only wish for that Crèche is that it can be open longer hours.

My son also takes swimming lessons there and all instructors are fantastic and Christine Stegmann is a wonderful and committed swim school coordinator who takes a lot of interest in developing kids' swimming skills.

Fantastic experience: I love the zumba classes. My favourite is Anita's. Everyone in the class has a huge smile on their faces. The other teachers are good too. They all have their own style. The gym staff are very helpful. I see this place as my club. Not a gym.

Fantastic experience: A fantastic gym with all the equipment I need! And Amazing coffee in the cafe downstairs! I like a double espresso with soy milk and honey in the side. Just what I need prior to training hard. I’ve eaten a healthy lunch here many times and always had a great meal. I’ve been coming here since it opened many years ago and love the atmosphere.

Negative experience: Gave adequate notice of swimming lesson cancellation. Was over charged 3 lessons. Have been chasing repayment for 6 months now. Not a large sum, but the principle. They said they would repay but have not. No reply since.

Their chefs whip up the best and tastiest meals, perfect for quick bites or hearty family dinners. With friendly staff and a energetic atmosphere, it’s a place where you’ll always get good coffee and delicious food.

Fantastic experience: THE CRECHE!!!! There are very few gyms that offer a creche, and if they do they are sub par. NOT the creche here! My daughter is 6 years old, and still asked to go! My son now attends who is 2 years of age and loves it just as much as my daughter. The staff are caring and offer lots of activites. The facility is clean and well setup for varying ages. What could be better than knowing your children are being cared for, having fun and making new friends while you can take some time out for you!!!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I find all the facilities at Next Gen of a very high standard, and the club very welcoming. The Crèche is a lovely, fun place to leave little ones with great care provided. We also have had our three boys enrolled in the swim school for around a year. We have found the swim school exceptional. The price is comparable to other swim schools but the standard here is so high. We find all the team wonderful - Reception, Cafe, instructors. Christine, who is in charge of the swim school, has gone above and beyond to accommodate all three of my boys aged three to six. She cares about each of them and has personally overseen and managed their development, doing whatever she can to help them thrive there. We love seeing them feel so comfortable in this lovely environment. My six year old is now a confident swimmer, my three and four year old are enjoying the lessons and progressing nicely. Thank you for making our experience of learning to swim such a pleasure Christine and Next Gen team.

Fantastic experience: I am new to Next Gen and so far I am loving the experience. It’s in such a beautiful location. This morning in the yoga class overlooking Kings Park all I could think was how lucky am I! I love that I have access to a variety of classes, gym, swimming pool and sauna all included in my membership. Previously I have tried F45 and Fitstop but I found after a while I got bored. At Next Gen there is so much to choose from. The location is very convenient and there is plenty of parking.

Fantastic experience: I went to Next Gen as a guest with a friend recently, I enjoyed this facility and found the staff really welcoming. It was a great experience and I look forward to returning on my next trip to Perth.

Negative experience: Terrible gym, way overpriced, sneaky contracts mean you pay $1000 cancellation fee if you try to quit. You pay more than double what you would pay at a normal gym and get: - terrible opening hours, closes at 9pm on weekday despite saying 930pm on google - terrible machine/weight/bench quality - way too busy, trying to use the pec fly or leg extension machine is almost impossible - 20 staff members who stand around the front entry/in the gym doing nothing
