Negative experience: A unique hydrotherapy experience; a sauna that's not hot, a steam room that has no steam and a spa that has no bubbles (unless you create your own.......)

Negative experience: The kid's pool is too dirty. With too many people, the water is sometimes visibly dirty. Some people were seen bathing in their dirty clothes. Some of them are even seen in the water, even in the sandals they wear outside. Once, my child cut the sole of his foot on a metal object underwater, and it bled. It took two weeks for the wound to heal. A staff member applied bandages to him, but the staff did not attach importance to the metal object.

Negative experience: Visited the 50m pool thrice in last 4 weeks. Leaving a 1-star review as cleanliness has deteriorated each time I visited, from quite dirty to unbearably dirty. The tiles at water surface level of the 50m pool is lined with black dirt. The pool tiles are greasy to touch. Floor tiles and silver metal benches in the ladies changing room is covered in black grime. Deep cleaning with high pressure hose is desperately needed. The shower in the ladies is literally scalding, definitely not safe. The shower heads are very dirty. Please soak them in vinegar and scrub them. Despite there are only 5 shower cubicles in the ladies changing room, only few people use it. I guess it is because the place is too dirty so people go home for showers instead. The only good thing about this pool is that it is heated to a comfortable temperature. But after my most recent visit I think I prefer cleaner pools further down south, despite colder.

Fantastic experience: Visited today 8 July 2024,this swimming pool and was incredibly impressed by the vigilance and dedication of the lifeguards. From the moment we entered, it was clear that they were taking their duties seriously, patrolling the area in turns and keeping a close watch on the children's section. Despite the shallow water, the lifeguards did not relax their attention for a moment. I witnessed a very young boy who briefly wandered out of his mother's sight, and the lifeguard immediately noticed and swiftly brought him back to safety. Their prompt response and attentiveness provide great peace of mind for parents. This pool is a fantastic place for families, thanks to the excellent safety measures in place.

Negative experience: This place is filthy and the scalding hot water in the ladies and in one of the enclosed deck showers is dangerous. The walls of the 50m pool are slimy and greasy to the touch. Cleaning in general is well below what’s required for such a busy complex.

Fantastic experience: It is a great place for both adults and children to relax. Indeed , children learn a lot. How to swim ‍♂️ and so on. I recommend it for all.

Positive experience: Very dated. Friendly staff. The spa rarely works adequately. Well priced. Needs a revamp.

Positive experience: It’s been twice already.. Went for spa Then my non-expensive thongs got stolen twice.. Ended up need to bare feet way to carpark twice..

Negative experience: It's cheap for a reason! Nothing gets fixed, it's dirty and if things do get replaced, they malfunction a month later. Sauna clock missing for over 2months, urinals leak piss, shower so hot it burns you, steam room never operational, ants and flies all throught lockers and changing room. If you don't mind dirty conditions and poor maintenance, then sign up!

Positive experience: Reasonable indoor pools can get a little busy at times with the swim schools

Fantastic experience: Haven’t been here in +10 years, would consider coming back to this place as was greeted with friendly service. Other aquatic places that I’ve been to are not the best compared to this place.

Fantastic experience: Great little community gym. Everyone's friendly, the staff are knowledgeable and approachable, it's very clean and the weights are always kept super tidy. I wouldn't go anywhere else unless I moved. Big shout out to John the trainer in the gym who always puts a smile on everyone's dial. Thanks guys.

Positive experience: Really nice facility, with good pools. Staff are helpful and there is lots of free parking. Only negative, the deep pool is very small.

Positive experience: The whirl pool in the child's pool section is fun even for people of older ages, the slide isnt ususlly open on weekdays but on weekends its sometimes open longer than the time it says that the slude will close, although the slide does hurt my back & I have to lift my head when going down because of the parts in the slide where the slide sections connect, but it still is fun to go down & also the reception staff are usually nice everytime I go there.

Positive experience: Nice spa and Hydro Therapy area, away from the regular pool. I've moved but still drive back because it's a good environment. I do wonder why the spa stops every 30mins or so and has to be restarted using a button requiring you to exit the spa to access.

Positive experience: Well managed and always clean. My only complaint is that the lifeguards don’t really pay attention to who’s swimming in the swim lanes before they decide to switch the signs around. Just last week I was in the fast lane,my gear and swim program on the ledge ( pretty clear that I’m not a slow swimmer I thought) halfway through my session from the far end I noticed that they suddenly switched the signs to slow. I was not happy about this as this was not really necessary to suddenly change a lane category when clearly I was still in the lane swimming fast.

Fantastic experience: we do swimming lessons here the swim teachers are very supportive and very encouraging to the kids

Fantastic experience: Love Riverton Leisureplex which I visit twice a week for exercise. Friendly staff and lots of parking.

Negative experience: 8 lanes in the pool of which 2 lanes closed for swimming classes and 4 lanes reserved for swimming club. The remaining 2 lanes too crowded. Either don’t accept additional entries to the pool or make more lanes available.

Negative experience: Wish they would pick up the phone.

Negative experience: Hāted it, we normally like going to the pools during the week for a cool down, but all the lanes were closed off, we were only able to swim in the kids pool, there were 20 of us and had 3 little children so majority of us were too big for the small pool, the bombing pool was closed off, everywhere we wanted to swim we were getting growled at, why wouldnt you let your customers know there is nōwhere to swim when we were charged full price to get in, there were lots of lifesavers who were growling everywhere and didnt look happy 2 be there jus made it an awful experience, my family and I will not be coming back to these pools again

Fantastic experience: I started here on the 'living longer living stronger' program 20 years ago. Then moved to full gym membership. Excellent gym. Fantastic trainers. No place better.

Negative experience: We have been here already few years but today very disappointed! Arrived around 11:20 and hurried to go to my daughter’s swimming lesson but one front girl came stoped me and asked me pay for the entrance fee to just go into talk to the swimming teacher. I said we never had this problem before and the parents not go in to swim but she said even for the watch also need pay for it. Not the money problem just this is unfair! We already paid swimming lessons and the parents are going to make sure the kids are fine or not why need pay again? I don’t want to come back to swim lessons anymore. The shower rooms are all broken and dirty but the staff only concerned about money.ADD….After I sent the email to ask and one staff (name: Felicia siew) replied saying if the family got 4 members ( two kids and two adults) must pay for one.(even the baby need go in with mum need breastfeeding ?) that not make sense!! But when I called swimming school to asked for it and they are very friendly and said don’t need pay for it and can understand it. Not sure what can deal with it but when you apply the swimming class remember to make sure about this payment. 我们在这里学游泳已经很多年了，一直以来没有抱怨过什么，哪怕泳池水脏或者浴室设备不好，但是这周日我们全家四口去游泳课的时候发生了一件很不愉快的事情，本已经游泳课迟到了很赶时间却还被门口的门卫拦下说我们超人数要交门票钱，我给她看了之前收到的email解释也都不听，说只要进门陪同的游泳人数超过2个人就得交门票，不管是不是游泳，哪怕是小宝宝要喂奶要跟妈妈一起进去！我觉得这个收费很不合理，如果有家庭一家四口要报名游泳班的话一定要注意这个问题，否则除了要交游泳课费用外还得每次都交门票只是为了周末家人一起去上完游泳课后吃午饭！

Fantastic experience: A good place for recreation. Has gym, sauna, swimming, spa and a good cafe. A good place for kids to have some fun. It also offers swim school from young kids to atheletes.

Fantastic experience: Great team, staffed well, swimming instructors are wonderful. And so many organised activities for all ages.

Fantastic experience: Great kids play area! Lots of water features and really good it has a cafe for the parents!

Positive experience: my families had a great time there. except the food and counter hands were a bit unhelpful. The bathrooms need some cleaning too.

Negative experience: Gym equipment was quite modern and I sweated it out good but when it was time to shower, there was no hot water! Come on!

Positive experience: The Gym is small and too busy sometimes. We have to wait to use some of the equipments. And it doesn't have all equipments as well. It needs to be updated. But it's clean, cheap, and all staff are awesome

Positive experience: Not enough walking lanes, too many people all trying to walk at the same time, too cramped. Showers way too small, one shower didn't even work.

Positive experience: This leisureplex is similar to the others with a 50m pool. Place looks clean and very busy. Staff at the cafe were friendly. Disappointed that I had to pay entry to the pool as a spectacular which is why I gave it 4 not 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Public Library at this Complex is amazing they currently have an art exhibition there with absolutely awesome art by local, and indigenous artists, definitely check it out there is also swimming facilities there and a lovely cafe very impressive

Fantastic experience: Great swimming complex and gym Gym on the small side but has all essential items and the machines are quite high tech. The pool are all indoors includinh 50m, not super deep as in melville which for some is a good thing.

Fantastic experience: Excellent swimming facilities. 50m pool as well as a kiddies area with a beach style entry from 0m to 1m. Free for under 3yo.

Positive experience: Great gym, very well priced membership, modern equipment. Pool is nice and sauna area is good too. Overall the place has a very pleasant atmosphere and staff are kind and helpful Although it is often very busy, do find I have to wait at peak times for some things like a free bench but not more than most any gym, and does shut fairly early at 8:30 most days

Fantastic experience: Amazing place. Wide range of facilities to use. The main lanes, recreational swimming area, fitness gym, sauna and spa. This caters to anyone and everyone. The library is also a short distance away, with a large park nearby. No complaints as the staff are also friendly and happy to help.

Negative experience: Love the pool but shower room temperature either too cold or too hot, changing all the time not consistent at all. It may be fine with adults but very hard with baby or toddlers, we had no choice to go there as Cannington swimming class was full.

Positive experience: I enjoyed library with my baby,while my other kid was at the creche

Negative experience: My god this place has gone down hill. It was a hot day so decided to go for a swim. You walk through the door and you’re greeted by the sight of a couple of overflowing Good Sammies Bins. As you walk through the entry way to the pool there’s cookies and cream ice cream all over the floor. You go into the change rooms and it’s a bio hazardous mess and rust everywhere. Get to the pool area, of courses it’s taken over by swimming lessons - only three lanes available for the normies and middle lanes at that so getting in and out you have to dodge the future Olympians that are ready to flatten you if you get in their way. Only got two bandaids in the mouth so that’s a win in my eyes. Then went to my bag on the bench and looked up and saw the Conditions of Entry Sign - a splatter of tomato sauce (I hope) on it. Honestly if you value your life, just go somewhere else or go to the beach and take your chances with the sharks

Positive experience: I've worked at and attended this venue for many years. It's been sad and frustrating seeing how the pandemic has and is affecting it. Particularly the enforcement of mask mandates. Where is the common sense? I've twice now (in one week of a new swim membership) been approached by lifeguards asking to wear a mask, once when I was drinking my coffee sitting down prior to a swim and the other time post swim workout in the steam room by myself. I'd like to hear from management as to why they feel the need to be so strict, and how about some compassion for your members/customers? Especially those that may have mask and vaccine exemptions to not be harassed and excluded. I just want to swim and workout in peace!

Negative experience: They enrolled my daughter in a wrong swimming class only to tell me a few weeks later that the class she suppose to go is full and she has to be enrolled into the remaining unfavorable class time. Why do us customers have to suffer because of your incompetent staff? Train your staff!

Positive experience: Good facilities. Water doesn't seen overly chlorinated which is always good. Kids enjoyed the time here taking a break from the heat. However from 2 to 5 pm the overcrowding was quite bad.

Positive experience: I would have rated 5 * if they had been trained to let any customer who enquires about hydro pool to know that only adults are allowed into hydropool. We have been before in hydropools with kids in Victoria Park and never been told that 34 ° water was dangerous for kids ... I was told that during our phone call the receptionist assumed it's only adults ( i had mentioned about us being a family) and that the receptionist was in a training. Gold rule of a customer service : apploligise , never assume and never justify yourself or blame your colleagues...

Negative experience: Don’t waste your money!! I have just paid $320 for 2 of my kids to do swimming lessons for the term but my toddler can only swim (paddle as she is scared of water) if I pay an additional $7.40 full adult price to enter at the same time as the lessons kids. I don’t even get to swim, stand ankle deep but still required to pay. Apparently toddlers are only free with a paying adult. Cockburn Arc toddlers are free and a supervising swimming parent is $2 as they know an adult can’t just do laps and leave the toddler they still need to supervise. Honesty never going to waste my money again. Travel to Cockburn ARC and there is 1 free adult to swim with each child lessons. So I can enter and swim for free with my toddler whilst paying for 2 kids lessons. Also a lot more to entertain kids at Cockburn ARC, water is a lot warmer, it’s cleaner and a lot more space to swim. Riverton Leisureplex is cramped, half the pools are blocked off for lessons. It’s plain greedy!!

Positive experience: The staff seem friendly and the pool and suronding area seems resombly clean only a little dirt on the bottom of the pool my bigest complaint is the mens show/toilet are quite gross. The showers ahave mould and scale build up and could use a good pressure washing and bleaching. All so what is with the showers they start scolding hot then get colder and colder

Positive experience: When changing opening times it is important to have it shown more than just on email. This needs to be shown on google maps, on each entrance, SMS if possible and any other source that shows opening times for the facility. Otherwise people stand behind the gate waiting to get in but no one comes. Great pool 50m and neat gym, needs new strap for rowing machine but other than that grat

Negative experience: My little one has been so disappointed twice now with the slide. The slide has opening times but they can't tell until 5 mins prior if the slide will be open. We have purchased tickets and been refunded twice in the last few days. I try to call on the day and they still don't know if the slide will be open. I've been trying to go, at a time the slide is open but being a half an hour away and not knowing until 5 mins prior, if its able to open, just isn't very helpful with trying to plan the day in advance. Also the ladies toilets and change rooms are pretty dirty, hair and dirt all over the floors. Floors are very dirty outside changerooms too. Also my eyes burn so much there, I don't get that at any other swimming pools. Swimming teacher is absolutely fantastic with kids (reason for the stars), but after today, I won't ever be returning to this place. I have read reviews about the dirt of this place from 2 and 3 years ago, the feedback says they are working on the cleaning but it's seems they don't put their words into action.

Positive experience: Would have loved a coffee after exercise but cafe closed. Far more sensible to get it at home really though especially since we finished 515. Hydro pool was a tad hotter than normal, but we understood this was due to it being towards the end of the day. Tidy accessible change rooms.

Negative experience: This is a dangerous place to swim. Went swimming yesterday afternoon and was hit by a ball by the eye thrown by an idiotic father and son who simply believed in their rights to play ball and ignored the safety of all those around them. the situation was complicated by the fact that I had a surgery on my eye. the leisure was extremely crowed, packed with primary school kids for their swimming lessons. One swimming instructor told me earlier on, she was hit by the ball too. Spoke to the security guard who didn't dare to ask them to stop playing, merely asked them to be careful. Later a supervisor came and told me they had the right to play but only told them to be careful. This is an absolutely selfish and irresponsible leisureplex that cares only about it's own financial gains. Don't even ask the father and son to stop playing even though the leisure pool was packed with primary school kids. They would rather accommodate the leisure fun of the father and son than to look after the safety of all other patrons. Those who think you or your child can swim safely in this place, you better watch out! You or your child could be the next victim! You could be in danger. Beware! This place deserves ZERO star!!!!

Fantastic experience: 50 metres Olympic pool, clean facility, nice staff, one of the best places to swim when not crowded with entitled frustrated and demanding parents. I imagine how difficult is for staff to work there with such clients. Go to swim at hours they aren’t there for a pleasurable experience.

Positive experience: I’ve been taking my baby for swimming lessons here and we both love it. The pool water is warm and he seems to be benefiting from the lessons. The only downside is that you can’t do make up lessons if you’re going to be away for any reason.

Fantastic experience: Pretty Newly renovated gym with some group exercise areas, also includes cycling which we love and other specialist training areas for other sports. Pools are great for laps or play with family and parties. staff are always helpful. We had some kids parties here and everyone loves the ambience and facilities. It is one of the sorts of places you will always come back to for the kids and families.

Fantastic experience: This is one of my favourite indoor swimming pool. It has a lovely kids area for so much fun, a long multi-lane pool and Jump-Dive pool. The food is good, gym facilities are wonderful.
