Positive experience: Great little spot for kids, could use more open 'leasuire lanes' in the outdoor pool. Water slides great for young kids.

Positive experience: Great facility, hasn't changed much since I was young. Busy pool.

Fantastic experience: This is my spot. Amazing gym along with great swimming, spa and sauna facilities. No better place for a workout followed by a relaxing swim. Excellent value too.

Fantastic experience: The renos to the inside pool look great. Staff attitude seems good and while its an older pool its well maintained and well loved by local residents.

Negative experience: Beatty Park does not allow kids with multi-passes to fast track through reception, resulting in carers who have paid for passes to wait in huge lines when everyone is arriving for swimming lessons or Vacswim. I learned today that they aren't even allowing children to use multi-passes to enter for Vacswim. So not only do carers have to arrive early enough to circle around until they get a parking spot, they have to also leave enough time to wait in huge lines to get their kids to swimming lessons / vacswim (and pay more for entry). Beatty Park management clearly have very little regard for their patron's time. They claim to have tried it but it was problematic. To me, it shows that management can't be bothered to use any ingenuity to solve these problems, much easier to fall back on making their patrons suffer from sub-standard processes. It was just a reminder to me again to enroll my kids in swimming lessons elsewhere (which I had been doing), even though this is my local government area. On top of that, they don't have enough space for leisure play, walking and slow swimming lanes indoors because of all the swimming lessons they run, resulting in problems with people trying to do leisure swimming in the walking lane.

Negative experience: Good swimming instructors. Super rude reception! I think you should educate your customer service people some basic “manners”.

Fantastic experience: Beatty Park Leisure Centre in Perth is a fantastic facility offering something for everyone. Fantastic experience: It’s a great facility, well priced and has excellent facilities, good gym not too busy, nice cafe and excellent pools. Les mill’s classes too.

Negative experience: Snobbish customer service people need training at the front desk, asked for concession rate, got treated inferior and inadequate and was asked to show my concession, which is fine, but then to find out later that I was charged at the full rate anyway. I just feel ill-treated and unworthy to Beatty park.

Positive experience: Saturday morning visit was very popular, nothing beats the smell of chlorine in the morning Had a great time with the kids, reasonably priced at $22 for family of 4.

Fantastic experience: A fabulous 50m pool for lap swimming all year round. The biggest challenge is parking on weekends and peak times.

Negative experience: The best part about the freezing cold showers in the change rooms, and the total shrug from pool staff is that you’ll be so cold that you won’t notice the mould and filth and sludge accumulating in the facilities. You will be so cold that you will stop caring about the stench in the sauna & steam room that can only be described as “rancid” if one were given but one word to describe the place. For 18 bucks, this place should be much cleaner, much friendlier and at least offer you some Hot water to wash the filth off of your body (or a sign on the way in that tells you that there is no such thing). I’ve had better swims in the third world for 50 cents AUD and come out with less chance of an ear infection or communicable disease. Appalling.

Fantastic experience: My happy place! The gym, classes, pool and spa areas are all perfection. Body Balance instructors are the best in Perth, really focused on technique in a fun and gentle way. This is the best fitness facility in Perth, with great membership options. It is a community for members. Big shout out to Ricci who is a genuinely awesome human and fantastic at his job :)

Negative experience: Been coming here consistently for over a year now very disappointed to see the increase in membership fees. The previous membership I had covered both swim & sauna & was reasonably priced now with the new memberships introduced I can no longer afford to attend.

Positive experience: Busy place. I took the sauna and steamer. It was good. Only the jacuzzi was busy and didn't look so clean.

Negative experience: Its very unhygienic as some one peed in the water when I came for swimming still than they are allowing us to swim moreover sauna and stream bath are horrible.

Negative experience: Beatty park doesn’t close the pool when ‘a code brown’ occurs. No announcement and lifeguards struggle to keep people away. Think kids and adults putting their face in the water 1 metre away. I don’t think I’ve ever not seen poo in that pool and nothing is ever done. It’s a nice space but basic hygienic standards aren’t being met.

Fantastic experience: I had my first PT session with Colin today. Having major back and wrist surgery, I was VERY hesitant to attend a gym. He was recommended to me by an incredible remedial massage therapist named Gary. The workout that Colin carefully created for me, was structured in a way that I was able to do all the exercises he suggested and felt supported. I knew instantly that I was in an experts care. He’s obviously very knowledgeable, professional and skilled in helping anyone. I would highly recommend Colin no matter what level of fitness or training level you are at. Thank you so much. Positive experience: It was great will be Bette when the new charging room opens in 2025 since it can get quite hard to use the toilet with the little ones as the family restrooms and accessibility ones are all thogheter beside that always Greta to be there

Negative experience: I love the place and i really enjoyed to go there but lately I took my little one at the crèche and I got very disappointed. They literally lock her in the pram for two times I went there , after I ask nicely to let her play around as she is 16 months old walking. Unfortunately I’m not coming back anymore and I hope the staff will chance as that’s not acceptable to lock children just because they don’t settle down . My child never cry at day care and she is very social but anyone getting locked while everyone have fun , of course she will be unsettled and crying!!! I hope the manager and everyone will read it and don’t take the children anymore

Positive experience: Great heated indoor pool, bathrooms kept clean, sauna space is nice. Pool sometimes dirty (lots of particles floating around) and barely anyone uses towels in the sauna which is a little gross considering all the sweat soaking into the wooden benches

Negative experience: Swim instructor for the toddlers was rude. Guy's name starts with "B" doesn't talk or acknowledge when you say hello or bye. Also rough with the kids.

Fantastic experience: Truly loved working out here 5 times a week. Staff is nice, and you’ll have everything you need to stay fit. The only thing I’d say could use some work, is the male bathroom by the pool (the urinals smells terrible like they never get cleaned.) other then that, favorite gym I’ve been too 5 stars. Gonna miss this place

Very thankful it exists as I get some time to myself while I know my baby is in great hands! Fantastic experience: LOVE this place Will keep coming back for as long as it's open! Yes, it gets packed with people, but there is always room to move around Cheap, great restrooms, food is wonderful, and they have the shop if you forget anything!

Negative experience: If I could rate it 1 star I would cafe is just a joke in itself the lifeguards don’t do abouslte nothing my 6 year old was pretty much drowning I couldn’t do anything but sit in horror and scream for lifeguards to help, as they did nothing but play around and spray each other with hoses. (I’m in a wheelchair) and the abuse the lifeguards gave me n my older son was disgusting they think there on 40$.n hour

Positive experience: I don’t want to be rude but No offence but it was actually really hot inside. Also ,Kids play area had a bunch of these naughty teenagers chucking the play balls into the dump bucket and hogging them so nobody else could play. Everything there was so expensive. Kids tickets were cheap so :)! Play equipment was nice but LIFE GUARDS were uninterested in work, staring into the air and phones, not caring that there were ridiculous teens messing about when there were little ones. Please pay more attention life guards! Hope there is more improvement next time I go there. I’m sorry I had to write a disappointing review but please understand that there were some naughty people there.

Fantastic experience: Enjoyed my day here. Despite them closing the lane for walking (elderly ) and the kids having to go inside. Reopened leisure lanes after 30mins once club finished. Can book covered areas for kids birthdays - reason why I went. Clean toilets and showers, big changing room. Secure lockers. Small Shaded area (shade sails) with bean bags on grassed area. Have fast food too. Wasn't too busy when we went 1pm-430pm.

Positive experience: Really good pool for the kids but there is a little work going on outside so will be better once it's all open again.

Negative experience: Beatty Park used to be a favourite but it is just so busy now it's not enjoyable, making things worse is that they seem to have handed over almost the whole pool to swimming lessons. There is little space left around all the lessons! More like a swim school than a public pool. If you do go, don't look down, the water is absolutely disgusting, not surprising given how busy it is!

Positive experience: I’ve always loved coming to Beatty park! Is my favourite place :) HOWEVER, they really really need to sort out their cafe! On numerous occasions I have shopped there (since it’s the only place that sells food and drinks) each time there’s a different issue. The professionalism is little to non and the staff have zero clue about what they’re doing. For example: I went to buy a salad at 10 dollars now for 10 dollars just for a little bit of lettuce and egg which is all it really is you should expect good quality right? Wrong! Not at this cafe. The ladies looked at me puzzled and said no this salad no good it’s all old. Okay well obviously I didn’t buy it. Next day I think oh I’ll get a smoothie at 9 dollars on an old sign it said if you didn’t want milk you could change it for juice to accommodate intolerances no not according to the ladies at the front they charge you 9 dollars for the smoothie and add the orange juice bottle on top! No thanks? Not when I brought one the other day and the lady said it was fine! I’m honestly so over this cafe! And they have a menu but they don’t ever cook anything on the menu because the chief is never in?! Someone please train these people on customer service. It really puts a bad look on such a GREAT place that I couldn’t fault! Please Beatty park, do something you’re so much better than this cafe!

Fantastic experience: Great for toddlers with few indoor pools with different depths, water slide, cafe, picnic area.

Positive experience: I’ve been long time coming to Beatty park… for a few decades now. And that’s IF you can find a car park. The parking situation, especially at peak times or on hot days is ridiculous for a complex this size. The pools are great and spacious but it’s just disappointing that you can’t even park. Second of all for my 3 star rating: the public gym. The layout does not allow for much cool down or stretch space. The gym has shoved the most tiniest area to grab a mat to cool down and it’s near impossible to do so. And instead, all huge weights equipment is taking up a huge empty space on the other side near the windows. I hope management reads this and takes this feedback into consideration. I won’t stop attending the gym, it just won’t be as often because of the above issues.

Positive experience: It’s an awesome way place for both kids and adult, there is a creche as well which costs 2.60$ per 1.5 hour for members and 6.50$ for non-members, and the creche timings are 7.30am - 1 pm from Monday to Friday and is open Saturday as well from 8am to 12 noon. Adults can do sauna, steam or just swimming. It’s a great leisure area, and there is a canteen with coffee, ice creams and food as well but limited variety.

Negative experience: Family members including grandchildren APPALLED BY THE SHOWERS AND TOILETS . Absolutely disgusting.. poo floating in toilets and at one stage , a lifeguard entered into the shower/ toilet area WHILE WE WERE SHOWERING , to physically unblock with a stick , a toilet . Which didn’t work and that was when WE ARRIVED . 2 hours later , leaving , the smell and the state of the showers and toilets WAS WORSE . No cleaners on hand to clean ? Manager and staff were noticeably there in appearance BUT did NOT attempt to monitor the hygiene and health factor caused by UNHEALTHY, DISGUSTING UNSAFE SHOWERS AND TOILETS. For all the renovations done over the years it is absolutely absurd especially when COVID19 has been so prevalent, that BEATTY PARK continues to maintain extreme poor standards in changing rooms , toilet areas specifically. This truly needs to be rectified ASAP before possible closure to prevent outbreak of diseases . Signs to wash hands is obviously a token gesture No response as yet from Beatty park !! Only acknowledge positive feedback ??? AND STILL NO RESPONSE BIAS CUSTOMER SERVICE

Fantastic experience: It's a great place to take your kid they're not able to stand the chlorine smell!!!! There isn't one here it's awesome pool fun, for the whole family.

Fantastic experience: This is one of the best leisure centres for children in Perth. It is well kept and clean with an exciting play area for children. My little one loves the big frog slide, spent way too long on that.

Positive experience: The centre is absolutely Amazing. The staff and girls at the front desk are fantastic at their jobs. I come here 4 times a wwek with my special needs clients. HOWEVER THE CAFE is highway robbery. Paying $9.95 for an iced latte with oat milk is a joke. 2 cups of milk and 2 shots of coffee and a bit of ice SHOULD NOT cost $10.

Fantastic experience: It was a great time for us and the kids. Loved the slides and the playground. The structure of it allowed both my 2 year old and 5 year old to get comfortable with the water and then try new skills. Definitely our new favourite swim place!

Positive experience: I like beatty Park. But for the size of the pool area, a bigger kids zone would be better. Seems to be set up primarily for swimming lessons and swim classes.

Negative experience: Changed review due to the poor and plummeting standards of the facility. Riddled with asbestos and with tiles falling off throughout the pool area. It's in dire need of maintenance. I cancelled my gym membership due to the price and it not being 24hrs.

Positive experience: A nice mix of historic building with refurbished modernism. I love the indoor and outdoor pools and the children's pool area is really good. New swimming pool upgrade is awesome. Gym areas are clean and well equipped.

Fantastic experience: Beauty Park is full of action for a public pool of Perth. There are quite a few with 3 outdoor pools. Plenty of nostalgia being surrounded with the old stadium seating. Lots of lounge chairs available although grass is at a premium. We settled in for a good 3 hrs only limited by the parking restrictions even though our spot was a bit of a walk away. Good vibe with a fully diverse swimming crowd and good separation lapping and leisure. We will be back for sure. Very thankful the City of Vincent with free wifi were able to get this venue refurbished as it is so more enjoyable than the more clinical HBF Stadium.
