Fantastic experience: My most favourite pool in Sydney! salt water, great views and lovely staff. The moment i enter through the doors here im instantly excited to get into the water. I love coming here at 6am when it opens and watching the sunrise. It's also super cool coming here during the day and watching the giant boats leave the harbour.

Fantastic experience: Love swimming here. Outdoor 50m pool. Usually very busy but sometimes at night you might score a lane to yourself before closing. Salt water pool so you won't smell like chlorine all day, but take a water bottle as you'll be parched! Wish it stayed open through winter but it would be super cold.

Fantastic experience: Located right next to the botanical garden this is one of the most scenic water front swimming pool in Sydney. The pool is filled with chlorinated salt water and while it is crystal clear I find it a bit harsh on the nose and tongue. Not a big deal though. Plenty of deck areas for sunbathers, including deck chairs. Scooter and bicycle parking outside the venue but car parking is expensive and sometimes in high demand. This may change but the pool is never too crowded.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic salt/sea water pool that is reasonably priced and has friendly staff. The change room/shower facilities are great as well. Perfect place to start your day in Summer.

Fantastic experience: Love this place. The staff have been brilliant through some testing times 2020/2021. The views are unbeatable. With a 20 visit pass you're paying less than 6 dollars to get in. Hot and cold showers. Plenty of parking. One on one lessons available with the brilliant coaches at Vladswim. I could go on. As of Dec 2021 the Cafe is regrettably out of business and greatly missed. Bring goggles. The water is treated sea water and can get very salty. All up, 5 stars.

Positive experience: Beautiful saltwater pool in a picturesque location with a beautiful view of the harbor. May be one of the most beautiful pools and locations for a pool in Sydney. Perfect if you walk or take public transport, however parking is exorbitant and not friendly, with rangers roaming around regularly. Parking is $9 an hour and you have to park outside in the Royal botanic gardens.

Fantastic experience: Outdoor pool. Lose to the Sydney CBD, a tad east. Great location, amazing views and not too busy to get a good workout in as well. Pool comes with all the facilities. Lifeguards and everything you need for a full and safe experience. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Best pool in the entire world!!! Lovely place to exercise over the weekend to disconnect and recharge yourself! Expectacular view and comfortable facilities. Friendly staff always willing to help. There's also a nice coffee shop for either breakfast and lunch as well as for a quick snack. A truly hidden gem of the city.

Fantastic experience: Nice outdoor 50m swimming pool with showers, bar and gym and kids pool area. Very reasonable price. Staff is nice. One thing I didn't like was the quality of the water. We went on a Saturday afternoon in summer and the water tasted like sunscreen... I guess that's what you get in any busy pool.

Fantastic experience: Pretty nice pool! I just saw the review before mine, I didnt feel the facility was dirty when I visited. The pool is filled with salt water which is good. They have a separate swimming pool for kids. The adults swimming pool is 50 meters in length, with 1.2m the shallow part and 2m the deep part. They have lockers. The pool entry was $6.5 which seemed good. Downside is the parking for 2 hours costs 3 times the pool entry so if you are close enough to the pool you should probably just walk there. I didnt get to try the caffe unfortunately because the caffe section was closed for some reason, I was looking forward to trying the caffe too. I'll update the rating when I get to try the caffe too!

Fantastic experience: My favourite pool in Sydney. Pulled laps here a number of times, and enjoyed the view. Also did the ABC aquathon series here every Thursday evening in summer. I loved it.

Fantastic experience: Great pool. Amazing location, beautiful views. After a swim session the food and smoothie at the café is very nourishing and delucious.

Fantastic experience: Great cafe in a spectacular location. While the Quay was shoulder to shoulder, we lounged in the sun with a delicious meal and a cold ale with the harbour sparkling at our feet. A hidden gem.

Fantastic experience: I love this pool. Water quality is always spot on. Facilities are very well maintained. Adjacent to Botanical Gardens so a great walk awaits after the swim. Onsite cafe also serves good coffee...vital after a long swim.

Fantastic experience: Just a spectacular pool on stilts over Woolloomooloo Bay with great views over the water to the navy yards. There's a filtered saltwater Olympic pool full of serious swimmers, plenty of room to sun yourself, and a good kiddie pool. You can usually get a metered park nearby, but do be aware of the outrageous cost of parking... nearly $9 per hour! The cafe does ok breakfast and excellent lunches.

Fantastic experience: Best cheap thing to do in Sydney, also largely undiscovered even by the Sydney locals. A dreamlike location with a great 50m pool which is under utilized, Even on hot days you can get your laps in stress-free, Filtered lanes with a bias towards lap swimmers and only 1 or 2 lanes dedicated to 'free play'. AVOID pool weekday lunchtime since population of middle age, middle management stock bro types getting there pool session for KONA prep, run down from the city an commandeer 'fast' lanes to hi 5 and paceman each other. Great little cafe on sight. Parking is slightly pricey but you can make the 15 min walk to St James or Martin Place which in itself is a great part of the city or there is a bus stop immediately up the stairs from the entrance which goes directly to town hall station. Best pool in Sydney

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to go swimming right in the heart of Sydney but without all the crowds that you might find at some of the other pools in places like Bondi. The pool is a mix of saltwater and chlorine and it wasn't too crowded. There are a few lanes for laps and a free swim section as well. after you're done swimming you can get a bite to eat or drink at the great Cafe above the pool. The views are amazing and it is a very relaxing place to spend an afternoon.

Fantastic experience: This oasis in the heart of the city is one of the best kept secrets around. A perfect place where you can spend a hot summer day relaxing and enjoying yourself. The care has a beautiful macadamia nut latte which tastes wonderful. I really can't stress how great this place it. Make sure you visit it

Fantastic experience: But your busy times are a bit out. Came at 7am on a Wednesday (not busy according to Google) and the pool was full to the brim. The teams finished training at around 8am. Great pool though when it emptied out

Fantastic experience: I love how even though this is a pool in the middle of the city, concession entry is an affordable $5 as opposed to out in my suburb (30min from CBD) where I usually have to pay $6-7. The facilities here look and feel new, bathrooms are well designed, and the stands are comfortable. It's an outdoor saltwater pool so make sure to apply plenty of sunscreen before going.

Fantastic experience: Awesome pool in an unbelievable location. Can swim and then go for a walk in the Royal Botanical garden or the walkway just outside. Clean and neat dressing rooms/lockers. Great views. And the pool is heated and contains treated salt water which is much more pleasant to swim in compared to traditional pools.

Fantastic experience: Love this pool! It's just over a km walk from my work, i get to swim for half an hour then I walk back. Nice way to spend my lunch hour! The water is salt water treated, has lanes dedicated for laps, slow, medium, fast and free play. A separate small pool for children play. Has a gorgeous view of the harbour for added bonus. Easily the best outdoor pool in Sydney CBD. Pool Deck cafe has great food as well.

Fantastic experience: Had function here in Pool Cafe. Such a great location. Great food and wine selections. Staff friendly and helpful. Space is great for any size event and such great views of Sydney Harbour and also Garden Island and Navy ships. An bring own music or use the music supplied.

Fantastic experience: Very nice club! Great view, nice atmosphere and the pool is very clean, excellent to spend an afternoon reading and swimming, enjoying the sun. There is also a restaurant there and some classes gym classes available. The pool access cost 6 aud.

Fantastic experience: 6.30 am on your last day in Sydney, what could be better than a quick run through the botanical gardens filled by a swim in this pool? Not much. You'll soon see why the Aussies win so many Olympic medals - stick to the slow lane and you'll be fine.

Fantastic experience: A fine place for a swim with views of the harbour. Depending on when you come there may be more people lazing in the sun being seen than actually swimming. The salt water feels nice on your skin, but does leave a taste in your mouth
