Fantastic experience: A fantastic gym and pools centre in middle of Sydney. There are 3 pools there, one Olympic sized one, hydro pool and kids pool. All very clean and great to swim in. There's a gym and several exercise rooms. An indoor sports court and an outside gym as well. Really nice space and great place for everyone. Very reasonable entry and membership fees. Best fitness centre in Sydney CBD and best value. This place is super clean and really well looked after. Good covid-19 safe practices as well.

Fantastic experience: I have always known where Cook & Phillip was, but hadn’t actually been inside. I have been using the pool and the gym for a short while now, and I’m loving it. What really makes it for me are the staff, in particular Victoria. She is a lifeguard. She absolutely radiates a lovely vibe , always has a smile and has made me feel so welcome. I hope her management team recognise her hard work, by sponsoring her to stay in the country. Don’t send her home.

Fantastic experience: BEST POOL AND GYM IN SYDNEY!!! Amazing hospitality and service from the lifeguards, watching them survey the pool with such care and compassion is so inspiring! I had an amazing conversation with a lifeguard named Alexis; needless to say, she was absolutely wonderful! Make sure you treat your lifeguards with respect guys!!!!

Fantastic experience: Great pool and amenities. It can get busy but the swimming lanes never feel too overcrowded. The kids area can get a bit crazy busy though.

Very good facilities, friendly, welcoming staff, a generally positive vibe amongst the regular clientele, and of course an excellent location. I simply wish I had been aware of its existence sooner (it is very discreetly integrated into its environment).

Fantastic experience: I recently signed up for the Cook and Phillip Fitness Centre and was absolutely amazed at the quality of their facilities and how they are prepared for safe training during the Covid era. But, my absolute special thank you goes to the fabulous fitness trainer Albert who inspires and motivates me, and explains every exercise in detail. He is very passionate and knowledgeable about his work and it's clear that he enjoys working with people. If you go there I highly recommend him. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I have swum at a lot of different pools around Australia. One of my favourites is Cook Phillip. I love the history that goes with this pool, the combination of two different parks, and the design which puts it under the park. I used this pool as a base to come into the city to run, and then pull some laps and finish with a nice shower. The centre is kept clean, the staff are friendly and it is easy to get to.

They have a lap pool, another more casual pool, and a large very heated pool (similar to a spa, but no jets). There are ample changing facilities and lockers, and parking is very convenient. There are also basketball courts here. Entry is very reasonable, and they do have multiple entry passes.

Fantastic experience: This is a great big indoor pool in Sydney CBD. Easy access from Museum station or even 10 min walk from Townhall station. Entry fee is about $7 and you can stay whole day. There are separated three pools, 1. Kids pool 2. 50m pool 3. Jacuzzi pool. Family, Couples and solo, this pool is for everyone!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time visiting the Cook Phillip Park Pool and both myself and my partner were really impressed with the facilities. They have an Olympic sized pool (50m length) with 8 lanes set up. The pool area was clean and staff are always available at the pool side. The changing rooms are clean and spacious with great hot showers (if not maybe too hot ). A single adult swim for a non member is $7.50. There is also a hydro therapy pool and a children’s pool available. The front desk staff were really helpful when we asked for information about swimming lessons.

Fantastic experience: Worth a visit for a few laps in the pool or do weights as there's a gym in the same complex. Family friendly with regular swimming classes on offer. There's stadium setup for social sporting competition like basketball, volleyball etc. A health club with personal trainers, physio available onsite and a café. Changing rooms and public lavatory. Prices start from $7.80 per adult for casual pool entry and also prices for families and annual fees for membership. My neighbourhood. Might as well visit St. Mary's Cathedral as it's just a breath away. There's public buses with a stop just outside near the centre in William Street or a five minute walk to St. James station. Closest public parking is Wilson's Car Park in the Domain. Well worth it.

Fantastic experience: This place is the best! It has really great swimming pools - really long and a few lanes for slow swimmers. It also has a basketball court too! There's some nice competitions you can join if you want too! For swimming make sure you get there before five pm on weekdays because after 5pm everyone finishes work and the pool and change rooms gets really crowded!

Fantastic experience: Good place to share with the family, there is a children's pool and the adult pool is ideal for swimming. Keep in mind that it is managed by lines and are designed for beginners, intermediate and advanced. You have to identify them correctly so as not to affect the people who are in the place. There are custom classes so it is normal to close some lines and you must move. It has ample spaces to change, the women's bathroom has a hairdryer, this is a plus. It has good hours of attention and the price is affordable.

Fantastic experience: Good gym and awesome swimming pool. Love the hydro pool ..great for relaximg after an intense class. Cheaper as compared to other gyms .. Gym needs a make over ..equipments are old and frailing . Overall good for 21 aud a fortnight.

Fantastic experience: Conveniently located in the heart of the city the facility includes an Olympic size indoor pool, a number of smaller recreational pools for families with children, an outdoor area for sun lounging, indoor multi purpose sports space (basketball court), spacious indoor gym, and a second outdoor freeweights gym area. As a long time member of the City of Sydney 360 active program I can't recommend these facilities highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Nice little hidden gem. Right under St Mary's cathedral! Very cheap for a family of 7! Parking was abit hard to navigate to. But once found, was only a minute walk to the centre. They also have parking validation which gives you a concession rate. ($6/h, usually $10) Saturday, Sunday are $13 flat rate for parking.

Fantastic experience: The wave pool was a cool surprise. And this rec centre has indoor basketball courts that can be used for badminton and other net sports. The pool had a separate shallow section for babies/toddlers, separate hydrapool for even pregnancy water massage, and separate lap pools. Clean and warm with lots of areas to sit around the pools for parents. The paid parking right outside is convenient. Very nice area of the city as well.

Fantastic experience: Centrally located across the road from Hyde Park adjacent to the cathedral. It's location makes access exceptionally convenience via bus and train. All facilities that one would expect and even more. An experience one must try for themselves fully appreciate the facility

Fantastic experience: Good therapy pool. But some people don't respect your space when you are trying to do your. exercises in the pool. The life guards need to tell people to move away from those who are using the pool for therapy. Some of them do but many don't.

Fantastic experience: Really amazing facility! Very spacious and plenty of space for swimmers of all ability. Reasonable price but try and avoid during the school holidays as it can become a little overcrowded.

The staff were really nice and helped explain a lot of stuff about entry and prices vs memberships. The women's locker room is nice and clean and the showers are nice and hot

Fantastic experience: The place is very good, installations are nice. Reception blonde lady (Eve) really should learn how to treat a customer, be helpful and provide information customers are looking for. She made me go 3 times for information on swimming and squad lessons and finally didn't have any options available. I resolved it very quickly with someone else when she wasn't there.
