Fantastic experience: I’ve never been one to go to the gym but really enjoy the Strength for Life classes here. Totally recommend this gym Staff are friendly with excellent helpful gym instructors. Great centre offering a variety of fitness options. Parking is a breeze with a huge carpark at the rear.

Fantastic experience: I have regularly attended the Y for just over 12 months on a fitness passport membership. All the staff at the Y have been very welcoming, helpful and supportive, so I made the decision to cancel my fitness passport and sign with the Y. Just a small way of saying thank you. I've recently suffered a few injuries, and I've received great guidance from all the staff, in particularly Travis in the gym area. I'm well on my way to getting back to full fitness, and can't speak highly enough of everyone involved at the Y. Thanks to all involved

Negative experience: Poorly run when sign has No spectators on court yet allow at least 10 spectators, supporting one team who sat with their legs out straight making it difficult for players to run. If rules aren’t being followed can staff please manage this?

Fantastic experience: This Gym has everything you need, great classes and staff are very helpful, professional and friendly. Also has a exercise physiologist on the premises which is great. Everything is very clean and tidy. Fantastic location.

Negative experience: My team and I wanted to book a casual shooting, and that is not possible?!!!!! The lady at the desk at morning time is so unfriendly and asked to download an app and completed the day before, while other workers there are lovely, helpful and book it in when we rock up. We are all mums, with schedule here and there which make us hard to go to training so, casual shooting is our best fit.. Hopefully she can learn good manners, read a little about customer service y stop being that rude.

Fantastic experience: This centre has an extremely well equipped gym and caters for all ages. There is a vast selection of fitness classes too. I am impressed with the friendly staff who are always very helpful and professional. I have been attending this gym for many years. I could not speak more highly of it. Helen

Fantastic experience: Tried many Adelaide gyms and been with this one the longest. Well maintained gym, very rarely any non functioning equipment, recently refurbished throughout and friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, great crèche for the morning netball games. The gym has everything you need. Everyone is so friendly & the netball competition is great.

Positive experience: Beware if playing on Court 3. Lots of gum leaves on the court that could easily cause slipping hazards for the players. I know it's not District basketball but maybe the occasional court sweep between matches could stop an injury and/or compo claim...

Negative experience: Very poorly organized, certainly not disability friendly hardly any dealers there and the ones that did show well 1/2 the stock had no pricing on the goods and to be honest prices are very similar to store prices. Plus $5. Entry was the icing on the cake for me. Not in my plan in the future to bother going again

Fantastic experience: I find the Marion fitness centre a friendly easy going environment for excersing. The gym is inviting and what I like most is that the other patrons are just like me.

Fantastic experience: I have attended the Gym for many years now (indeed prior to the YMCA). I am delighted to say the Y has added significant value with extra and new equipment (along with a range of programs and classes). Recent refurbishment has further enhanced the comfort and utility for its members. For me, it is ideally situated in close proximity to my home (obviously that does not necessarily apply to all participants). Staff are very friendly and co-operative. Finally, I observe that attendance and participation at a Gym can be a social event as you get to know others (one cannot understate the psychological benefits that are possible for the individual, beyond anything that can be realised with our health and fitness!). I commend the Centre to anyone considering becoming a member. Bryan Scherer

Fantastic experience: Friendly and helpful staff - great programs!

Fantastic experience: A few years ago the gym changed and I left as the equipment which was put in at the time was in my opinion not the best. A few weeks ago I was wanted to see if anything had changed and I was so blown away with the changes I ew joined. The equipment was back up to a good standard and the makeover was just Fantastic and the staff are great and welcomed me back. Really feels like I am back home and enjoying working out at mlfc again.

Fantastic experience: Good Gym. Modern equipment, Staff are friendly. I seem to have very little issues getting on the equipment I need. The Pool is also an added bonus to break up the Gym routine every now and then. The RFC lockers also makes it very simple as you do not need a key to carry around. I would recommend this Gym.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with no rip-off type contracts. You pay for what you get and not for shackle type contracts and exit fees. Staff was cheerful and friendly and there is no silly "boot camp" type atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: The gym at Marion Leisure &Fitness Centre has a very diverse range of equipment to suit your every needs for your personal fitness requirements! I personally would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a regular training base!

Negative experience: Outdated but it's okay. Staff not friendly and rolled eyes when we asked put the basketball ring out.

Positive experience: Played in the Wednesday night Netball competition which was fairly well run. Covid arrangements working well. Staff friendly.

Negative experience: Poor experience, never going back. Would never play in a social competition here again!! A lot of money a game for umpires that can’t see or run! Biased umpires, once a fun game, has turned into middle school squabbles.

Positive experience: Very well presentation and class interaction. Encouragement to implement yearly plan that can include gymnast, parent and coach support and reaching their goals through communication.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with a large variety of good equipment, which caters for all levels of fitness. The staff are friendly and willing to instruct and answer any questions you may have regarding use of the equipment etc. There are several levels of memberships at very reasonable prices. All in all I think an excellent gym. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Large gym floor with lots of equipment available. All equipment appears to be in good condition. Reasonable price for gym and pool access with good opening hours. Only suggestion would be more pilates class times or bigger classes to accommodate more clients

Fantastic experience: Have been playing mixed netball at Marion for 20+ years & have now joined up to make better use of the other facilities that are on offer. They have recently introduced pickleball, a game I'd never heard of before & I'm thoroughly enjoying it. It's a great workout with a lot of laughs along the way. The staff are great, they are very friendly & very, very helpful.

Fantastic experience: I have used the gym for a number of years for rehabilitation after cancer treatment. The staff are lovely and friendly and the equipment is well cared for if a little old. The place is clean and friendly, there is ample car parking and help and advice from staff is available in a friendly and non-pushy way. I hope the place remains a secret!

Positive experience: A lovely venue but is looking tired and rundown. Large holes in stadium walls and no air conditioning in courts area so very uncomfortable on a warm day. There is plenty of parking and the toilets are always clean.
