Negative experience: Music is always too loud! Turn it down please

Negative experience: Lovely staff but average, old equipment and the gym is constantly overrun with noisy high school kids who hog the equipment and clown around. Not a good place to be.

Positive experience: Good facilities, join the classes, turn up, do what you're told and get fitter.

Positive experience: You want to come back to this place again and again, apart from the music are cool, complete stuffs, and you guys have own coaching room, awesome , clean of course, and all the members I observe,they are dicipline to put back after used, and that's really good. Good we have our own lockers, but I can't find the sauna, I reckon that will be good if we have this .

Negative experience: I used to go to this gym a lot but I was exhausted by the lack of empathy of the people and the lack of attitude of the staff. There was an older couple who were occupying three machines at the same time, leaving their phone or towel to save their place (this has happened many times). I didn't see their dirty towel and I waited for them to stop using the machine and when I went to use it they tried to kick me out (the guy was aggressive with me) and called the gym staff who told me that there was no policy prohibiting using more than one machine at the same time. I think its absurd and a lack respect and common sense. It needs real gym culture.

Negative experience: If you would like to compete with every school kid for a set of weights to use then this is the gym for you. Kids sitting in racks and machines for extended periods of time just chatting away. Unfortunate as the gym staff are lovely!

Fantastic experience: Genesis Redlynch is one of the first gyms I've joined and I've got to say it is fantastic it has everything you need, however it is quite small it has a great community and overall great amount of machines.

Fantastic experience: Good gym, 2 power racks and a smith, 2 deadlift zones, plenty of free weights. Worth the drive from Smithfield Genesis if you powerlift.

Negative experience: Rip off.. 30days notice to cancel, ridiculous $20 to replace a plastic tag, ridiculous Don't even have a peckdeck for chest. Improvement fee to buy new equipment for gym paid by customers.

Fantastic experience: The gym has recently been upgraded and although it is small and packed at peaked hour if you are local and can workout at odd hours it is a fantastic gym with 85% of the machines/equipment you would need. Certainly suitable for average gym attendee

Negative experience: A fairly good gym, quite small but has everything you need. Gets very busy from 3pm onwards on a weekday and not many machines to spare. Make note that even in the no lock in contract you have to give 30 days notice. I tried cancelling my membership a few months ago when I know I’d be moving soon and in person I was told no notice is necessary and I did re-ask to clarify so I’m quite disappointed now that I am trying to cancel due to relocation and I’m still required to pay for a month when I will be unable to use the membership

Fantastic experience: Joined this gym 2 weeks ago. Really love the warm and open environment they provide for their members. The classes are amazing and the coaches really work the best out of you. They are very encouraging and focus on technique, which has been very educational.

Positive experience: Good friendly staff, great facilities, clean and very conscious of COVID regulations as they come in. They have access to excellent PT resources, and have a variety of activities available for every body. Never over crowded, although I find after 10:00 is the best time for a quieter session.

Fantastic experience: By far the best genesis gym in cairns. Staff are always amazing and very friendly. The PTs are also very friendly. The gym is always clean and parking is never a problem. Also have been doing a few give aways and occasionally have ASN people in with samplers which is also very handy when wanting to try new supplements. Would highly recommend genesis redlynch to most people all ages.

Fantastic experience: Can go to multiple genesis gyms, 24 access, Locations are at every side of Cairns, classes at Cairns city gym are amazing, and have bathrooms that have hair straightners and dryers to get ready for work after a sesh. Would recommend joining.

Fantastic experience: Genesis Redlynch is a sensational place to be a part of. You can start (or end) the day by being greeted with a positive uplifting vibe, great selection of resistance machines and free weights, Coaching Zone personal group training area, and clean change facilities to get ready to go to work. Parking is easy also. The coaches and trainers are there to see you succeed and will help you immensely on your journey to fitness. The members obviously have a great time being there and to be surrounded by all that fitness enthusiasm you will definitely feel encouraged and inspired to be the best version of you.

Fantastic experience: Been a member of Genesis for 4 years in that time I have been mostly happy with the facilities. It’s in a convenient location and the staff are polite and helpful. If I could make a few suggestion it would be that they need to employ more Personal Trainers and encourage gym users to bring towels.
