1 Million Strong Gym

Fantastic experience: LOVE IT HERE I moved down to Melbourne so stopped training at 1M for a while. Came back up for the weekend and oh maaaaaan it felt like being at home. Best facility (seriously, some of their equipment must be custom made because I haven't seen it anywhere else), friendly staff, and not too busy. Can't wait to come back up

Fantastic experience: Visiting Cairns from interstate, I was looking for a bigger gym with an atmosphere - similar to my home gym. 1 million strong definitely has all the equipment needed for a serious strength workout with loads of pin loaded/hammer strength machines, a big range of dumbbells & cardio equipment to start/finish your workout.

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere and the staff were super friendly when I signed up, and always greet you with a smile on their face. The facilities are well maintained and are regularly cleaned. Awesome gym run by and awesome crowd of people. Edit: Recently underwent some minor rennovations and replacements and recieved state of the art new equipment making an amazing gym even better!

Fantastic experience: Look, we don't go to gyms expecting to be treated like princesses, you go there to move iron, you go there to sweat, you go there to give it your all. And that what 1 Million strong is all about. Real people, real atmosphere and real fun. I've been there between travelling for about 2 years now and the guys behind the desk look rough but are the most genuine, helpful and funny people you'll ever meet, so don't get discourage by some of the other reviews that are just here to talk trash. Its clean, It has all the equipment you could want or need and has the best atmosphere in cairns.

Fantastic experience: Open 24 hours with a membership access card, staffed hours are 8 am - 6pm. Great Gym, lots of brand new gear, awesome air conditioning and music , squat racks and extensive range of brand new Hammer Strength machines . Friendly management and staff .

Fantastic experience: Best gym deal in QLD. No lock in fees. Cancel or suspend your contract at anytime without any charge. Customer service is great too. Great facility and equipment (big range) can get busy though because it is very popular.
