Fantastic experience: Something about the gym just works. Hard to directly nail the feeling but much better vibe than most gyms which goes a long way.

Fantastic experience: If you’ve been meaning to join a gym for a while but feel nervous or hesitant about it, stop underestimating yourself and check this place out! All the staff are super friendly and welcoming and will help you to work towards your fitness goals. I feel great every time I come here and Wednesday night HIIT classes are now a highlight of my week. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with a laid back old school warehouse atmosphere and vibe. Huge range of gym equipment including all the stuff you'd expect from a full service gym (free weights, pin loaded machines, racks, foam rollers, bosu balls, etc), but with a large range of dumbbells (up to 60 kg), variable benches (flat, incline, decline), power racks, gymnastics rings, tyres, etc. meaning it has enough equipment to cater to all kinds of workouts and programs from general health and fitness to bodybuilding, cross-training and calisthenics. Staff are always helpful and friendly and the vibe is very welcoming but without being over the top or forced. Membership options are flexible and pretty affordable compared to others in the area.

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms around. This beats any commercial gym - hands down. I've been working out here for years - Quany's is a world class gym filled with a positive-driven attitude community of gym members coupled with friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed staff members. Great bunch of people who run the business - always nice to have a yarn with them. You can definitely tell the attention to detail of care and respect for the equipment and also how the staff members treat each gym member or anyone who walks through the door - which I really appreciate. They make me feel as if I'm at home. Definitely feel welcomed and appreciated working out here; especially in moments when asking for a spotter with certain exercises. Members are more than happy to help out. I strongly recommend Quany's Gym to anyone of any skill level who wants to experience on getting fit in a fun, safe, positive and chill environment. Bonus points for being a 24 hour gym too! The gym also has a merch line of different tops for pretty much any season of the year which is awesome and really cool to see. I don't see a lot of gyms out there doing this, so it's nice to feel that home-like community vibe and personal connection to rep out their kit while you're doing your own exercise routine in the gym. Their hoodies are nice and cozy. The square Quany's logo design look is clean! It would be nice to see if they added more merch items like sweat pants, shorts or hats to broaden their threads collection. Time to build some more muscle! Thank you for existing Quany's.

Negative experience: Friday afternoon is no staff there. A trainer was there and said to me I should come tomorrow and today I cannot train so I need to leave. Imagine you want a membership, drive 20 minutes and then they send u home…

Fantastic experience: Quany's is a great gym with a family vibe. There's a big range of equipment including lots of free weights, strength training machines of all types, a small studio for group classes and a selection of cardio machines. There's tons of well maintained equipment - whenever I go, it's never too busy and I never wait for a machine, bench or squat rack. It's a breath of fresh air that they have flexible membership and casual visit passes and they're totally cool with whatever you choose. Unlike the big commercial chain gyms where it feels like all they want to do is sign you up for an expensive contract. Which reminds me - Quany's membership fees are also very reasonable and you have 24/7 access, so it's great value for money. The staff are super friendly and relaxed. The owner made a point of coming over and introducing himself when I was training one day, asking how things were going and giving a couple of tips, which was really nice of him (and the tips were spot on). Next time I saw him, he remembered my name, checked in again and gave a couple more tips. Makes you feel like part of a family. Members are of all ages and abilities, so anyone should feel comfortable. If you're looking for a new gym, or just starting for the first time, it's definitely worth giving Quany's a go!

Fantastic experience: Recently moved to the area and I have to say this beats all the other gyms I trialled in the area by miles each in terms of the staff, the equipment, the vibe and the price. This place is just what you'd be looking for if you want a down-to-earth old-school gym. Plenty of free weights and machines with a 80s/90s vibe. The whole joint feels like well-oiled family run machine. Place is clean and (somehow) doesn't have big crowds, even during peak periods. Also, its affordable compared to other nearby gyms. Viki, who I understand runs the joint with Quany, was super accomodating and didn't pressure a membership onto me at all when I first went to trial. Quany and Grachie introduced themselves and always say g'day when I go in. Once I was done with my week membership (which was graciously extended as I was overseas for part of it), I immediately and happily signed up for a full year. Feels great to support a local family business who have fostered a great joint for pumping iron.

Fantastic experience: It is very well equipped gym. Free weights and machines available. Personal trainers on hand if needed. Towel provided for a small fee which is good if u are visiting for a day or for couple of weeks. Membership is very flexible and all is clearly explained on their website. Very friendly welcoming environment.

Fantastic experience: I love Quany's gym. It has all the equipment you need and it's never crowded or busy. Staff is nice and helpful. It's a 24 hour gym which is nice because you don't have to stick to opening times. I've visited other gyms here and there in the meantime and although some are more modern, it always makes me miss Quany's.❤️ The vibe is good, everyone is nice and I always leave with a smile on my face.

Fantastic experience: Quanys Gym is one of my happy places. I love coming here. It is super chill, no fuss, and the owner and employees are super nice and helpful. The workers also do not have the sales persons vibe like a lot of gyms do. This gym has everything I need and I never have to wait to use equipment. I love how it is 24 hours and never over crowded. I appreciate how affordable it is. I also appreciate how my fellow patrons are not trying to impress anyone and I attribute that to the vibe/culture that the owners have created and cultivated.

Fantastic experience: I had the week pass at Quany’s gym whilst visiting Brisbane and I wish I had been sooner whilst I was living in Brisbane ! No matter what time you go there isn’t people on top of eachother and you don’t need to fight for equipment. I love the old school body builder vibe they have all whilst being very welcoming and comfortable place to train, equipment is good and lots of variety. Couldn’t recommend this gym highly enough !

Fantastic experience: Great gym! friendly relaxed and that old school feel with a very updated feel love this place! Came back today for the first since May 2023 after having a fall! Today the team has made fell so welcome and I love coming here as there is such home feel to this gym . Great place and highly recommended this place . Thanks so much for the last ten years .

Positive experience: They charge you $40 NOT refundable for access tag which is ridiculous price for this small cheap peace of plastic. Good atmosphere and people, but hot inside as there are no aircons and just a little of fans attached to the walls.

Fantastic experience: A proper gym. Well-priced and the staff are legends, very helpful. The equipment is all relatively new and well-maintained. When struck down with a pretty awful illness they were very understanding with letting me pause my membership. Something you just don't get with those chain brand gyms, the human touch!!

Fantastic experience: Some seriously good humans working at Quany's who go above and beyond for their members. Range of equipment is fantastic - there is always an option available even in peak times. And like most, I love the old school approach. Negative experience: This place is in desperate need of all new cardio machines, they're disgusting there's sweat on these machines from the last 10 years. Most of the machines are broken in one way or another. All of their workout equipment is from the 80s. They've reupholstered the machines but they're not ergonomically correct, they're really old these machines. Built-in a time when lifting with your knees was frowned upon and the machines weren't comfortable. The only way these machines can be more uncomfortable is if Quan put an electric current through the machines and they shocked you each rep. if you're looking for somewhere to injure yourself whilst having a workout then Quany's gym is for you. Also the bathrooms are disgusting. When I joined Quan's the staff had boasted 400 members in this gym at $12.50 a week membership, if these figures are true that means can't Quan is grossing over $250,000 a year. Quan should put it towards some new machines asap. I'm going to be cancelling my membership. Which is a shame, this gym has heaps of potential, if Quan just put the money back into the machines there would be more loyalty and more membership.

Fantastic experience: I've only been to one class here (Wednesday evening smash class) during a trial week because I'm hella unmotivated but it was really really good. I definitely plan on going back when I can drag my lardarse off the couch.. The staff are really encouraging and friendly, and good at what they do. The atmosphere is buzzing but if you are just going in to hit the treadmill lazily for a while you wouldn't feel uncomfortable doing so. If you're keen to give your muscles a workout that will destroy them for days afterwards, I can recommend the Wednesday evening smash class.
