At the heart of House of Pain is a robust Powerlifting program backed by evidence-based coaching. The gym is a hub for competitive strength sports, regularly hosting APL-sanctioned events and supporting members in national and state championships. With a team led by Adam, the Head Coach, clients receive expert guidance on technique, periodization, and competition prep, fostering a supportive community that thrives on shared passion for lifting.
The facility boasts a world-class 'playground' for strength athletes, equipped with top-tier gear including Eleiko competition barbells and plates, multiple squat racks, Monolifts, Texas Deadlift Bars, and specialized strongman equipment. Fantastic experience: Last week i joined a 28 day fitness challenge for women. Completely out of my comfort zone and not knowing what to expect I felt very intimidated from social media posts I'd seen. However from my first night the other ladies in the challenge have been supportive and welcoming. The coach is friendly and helpful and encouraging. Everyone in the gym that can see you doing the group fitness is so supportive and friendly aswell!
Thanks for the review Hayley!
Fantastic experience: Very painful for a 64yr but in the end it's your golds that you reach that make it sweeter
