Big Ben’s Boxing, located in Seaford, is a premier boxing gym established in 1996 by Ben Chua, a licensed professional trainer with an international 1-Star rating from AIBA and Silver-level accreditation from Boxing Australia. With a legacy of coaching over 600 bouts at national and international levels, the gym boasts a rich history of producing successful amateur and professional boxers who have competed in prestigious events across the USA, Germany, Malaysia, and beyond.
Whether you are a complete beginner or an aspiring athlete, Big Ben’s offers tailored programs to suit every goal. Their Boxing Technique, Fitness & Sparring (TFS) classes provide a welcoming environment for beginners and intermediates to build fitness, refine technique, and safely introduce sparring without prior experience. For those with competitive ambitions, the gym serves as a member club of Boxing Australia, offering a clear pathway from novice competitions to elite international tournaments, including the Commonwealth Games and the Olympics.
Young athletes aged 7 to 13 are also catered to through the Youth Boxing program, which focuses on building self-confidence, self-defense skills, and technical proficiency in a fun and supportive setting. Many of the gym’s current competition athletes started their journey through this youth initiative. Fantastic experience: Boxed there for quite a few year back in 2010-2013 really good atmosphere recommend to beginners and pros alike, planning to start going back to get a fullfuling test of my fitness and skills.

Fantastic experience: I've trained with Ben Chua professionally from 2000 to 2004, and have trained on and off with him since then. If you are after a place where you'll be trained in a professional atmosphere by a high quality qualified coach who has a proven track record of producing champions, then look no further. The atmosphere in the gym is both professional and friendly so you will feel at home almost immediately. Whether you're after a fun and interesting way to get fit, some self defense skills, or a disciplined challenging sport for yourself or your kids, you'll find what you are after here. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
