Negative experience: This is nothing against jungle Gym this is about jo Taylor when I first started small group training with her it was great then we had a clash she would not speak to me in person about it just basically kicked me out of the small group which has not been great on many levels! I thought her purpose was to empower women over 55 she has no communication skills when you run into a clash of personalities treated me poorly an basically ignored me in the training sessions this has impacted me alot and I hope she learns to be more mature when dealing with different personalities...very dissatisfied and do not recommend her go for a trainer that you can communicate with ...it's not her ! Let's straighten out some stuff I had a great time with the ladies and never made them uncomfortable I never missed my payments ever for thee days I trained ...when it's stated that I harassed her that is not true she would not pick up her phone and communicate with me and work things out again extremely immature I have never meet a small buisness owner that won't communicate when there is an issue ! She takes no responsibility in the way she conducted herself yet wants to throw me under the bus ! I never said I was leaving either I am disgusted in her response take accountability like I did least I tried to talk like an adult unlike her ..she wrote to me carnt deal with conflict you are always going to have stuff to deal with running a buisness..really impacted me not training with friendship s I had formed ..Grow up !

This response to your negative review is to highlight why our coaching relationship ended, mainly due to your unacceptable behaviour.
Firstly, I want to highlight I made an exception for you on my payment policy as I was sympathetic to your situation and I wanted to help you. Your payments continued to be sporadic and it was taking far too much time and energy each week to manage.
The catalyst for you leaving the gym was when I had to follow you up for payment, and you accused me of being rude and ‘bugging you’. This made it very hard for me to continue working with you. In my many years of coaching I have never experienced this with anybody.
I’d like to state that you were the one to suggest leaving, and I supported this decision. You then changed your mind and decided you couldn’t leave and started to bombard me with calls, voicemails and messages at all hours. I began to feel harassed and thought that the right decision was for you to step away from my small group training.
After asking you to leave and you refusing, I felt completely uncomfortable in my workspace. I did not ignore you completely but I could not pretend everything was normal after asking you to leave. I ensured you exercised in the class safely, but by insisting on attending the class, you made myself and others extremely uncomfortable.
I am sorry you felt you needed to leave this review and I wish you all the best in future.
Fantastic experience: Jo is a dedicated and very skilled trainer. I am an over 60th female. I do weekly strength training one to one classes with Jo, and she is very in tune with my body limitations. I couldn't be more pleased with her attention to my needs. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Jo is an excellent trainer & her infectious optimism makes exercise fun. I have been training with Jo twice a week & she has created interesting workouts that have allowed me to improve my strength, flexibility & balance. Jo takes an active interest in promoting an overall healthy lifestyle (which is sustainable) both in our training sessions and on-line which is very motivating. I am in my late 60's & Jo's encouragement & experience has given me the confidence I needed to pursue strength training & to make small lifestyle changes. Fantastic experience: I've been training with Jo for the past 3 months after a big break & my body is feeling stronger & happier than it has for a long time! Jo has a slow & considered approach to training & an eye for detail, so she quickly identifies where movements need tweaking & communicates the necessary cues in easily digestible language & demos. She is patient & will modify or switch anything that sits outside my individual capacity & always checks in with my energy before the session. Fantastic experience: I’ve been doing online training with Jo for over a year now, and have seen massive results. Through the online app and weekly check ins, my program is tailored to my progressive goals and adjusted through weekly check ins with feedback videos. I’ve increased my strength in ways I was not able to do through training by myself, and increased my mobility and weaknesses. Jo is responsive during the week if I need support with my program or changes to exercises. It’s allowed me to increase my confidence in the gym and understand what my body can do!

Fantastic experience: I have trained under Jo for many years & she is still best coach I have found!!!! Not only is she incredibly sweet & supportive but she delivers highly professional coaching with the greatest attention to detail ensuring you are developing the correct technique & your training is always to the highest quality. I was very hesitant & felt intimidated to begin weight lift training & avoided it for years whilst I prioritised other types of workouts, but under the guidance & knowledge of Jo, it fast became my favourite style of training. Weightlifting has become a huge anchor in my life - from rehabbing various injuries to building a strong lean body to increasing my self confidence. It has been amazing to see how far I have come from the beginning when I was practicing on a broomstick to now feeling like a strong empowered woman - my only regret is not starting sooner.

Fantastic experience: Jo is the best! I've been doing a fitness and nutrition program with her, which turned out to be exactly what I've been looking for, for years. Fantastic experience: Jo is an amazing trainer! I started training with Jo wanting to regain fitness and recover from an ankle injury whilst losing some weight in a sustainable healthy way having previously had experienced eating disorders. I was nervous about the experience of training being triggering but Jo is so focused on building enjoyment and capability for movement that I was able to achieve my weight loss goal in a healthy sustainable way and more importantly reconnect with a sense of accomplishment in what my body can do!

Fantastic experience: If you are rehabbing from an injury, wanting overall strength and conditioning or specific coaching with Olympic lifting then I cannot recommend Jo enough! I have been rehabbing from an injury with Jo and she been incredibly supportive in my rehab and working with recommendations from the Physio. Jo is a high quality coach with a large knowledge base and since working with her weekly and following her program I’ve been able to get back into lifting pain free. Thank you Jo!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Jo for around 9 months since November 2020, and weight training with her has changed my life. I’d never lifted weights much before and from my first session Jo made me feel so comfortable in the weights area of the gym. I’ve never felt stronger or more confident in my body, and I’ve noticed a real change in my own strength from lifting weights under her instruction. Jo is very methodical with building skill level as part of your program and I recommend her to anyone looking to get into weightlifting!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love my sessions with Jo! As a regular jogger myself, I appreciate that we focus more on strength rather than cardio. I’ve noticed an increase in my strength and muscle definition but also amazingly my lower back pain has all but gone! I would definitely recommend Jo’s PT services to anyone - she’s so friendly and approachable and the gym she’s based at is really inclusive and clearly welcomes all ages, body shapes and fitness levels (which is important to me since I tend to find gyms a bit intimidating at times). If you want to have a great workout and a laugh, Jo is your coach!
