Negative experience: Was charged a fee for coming to the gym with another member, old equipment hasn't been updated since I started here.

Negative experience: Cancelled my membership, staff are unhelpful and disorganised, poor treatment here.

Negative experience: Attended this gym for three year and just cancelled after poor treatment from staff. Outdated equipment, Poor staff, awful experience.

Negative experience: New admin girl needs to be taught how to speak to customers. Poor customer service experience ever.

Fantastic experience: Karen and Rach are wonderful ladies, always having fun with a smile on their face! I couldn’t recommend Health and fitness world enough to anyone young and old, fantastic space with everything you need to better your life!

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, 24/7, plenty of classes to choose from and there is a women only section. Best part is that it is huge inside and lots of space if it gets crowded. Signed up at open day and got the headphones which was a sweet bonus.

Fantastic experience: Best gym around Launceston! The community, facilities, classes, kids club and atmosphere is amazing. I’ve lost over 60+kg and Health & Fitness / Women at Health & fitness has been incredible supporting my journey. As a mum of 4 young children the kids club is an absolute god send and the staff are so incredible and welcoming. The activities and programs the gym provides are fabulous and there is always something for everyone.

Fantastic experience: After having children and having less time to do things for myself & my health I decided to join up at health and fitness womens. 8 months on I’ve not looked back, it’s such a welcoming environment the staff go above and beyond and I’ve never once felt uncomfortable. The PTs (especially Emma) & classes are fabulous and my kids don’t want to leave kids club they love it that much! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Just finished a great workout. Casual workout was easy to set up online and $20 is very reasonable. The gym is over two floors and has all the cardio and weights you could ever need. Pin loaded, weight loaded and free weights. Not busy early morning so perfect for me. Two more days in town so I will be back.

Fantastic experience: I've just started at Health and Fitness. They've been very welcoming and helpful. Lots of equipment and different areas to work out. Very clean.

Negative experience: Very outdated equipment - doesn't appear that they've invested any money in the last 20 years. Freezing in winter and boiling hot in summer. Then to top it all off they sting you hundreds of $ just to cancel. I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: A very comfortable gym to start off in. I came to this gym very self conscious and started at Fernwood first before gaining the confidence to just do my thing in Health and Fitness World. They really treat you like family there. Staff refer to me by name and really show the care for you and your personal progress. Can't thank Sue (class instructor) and all the beautiful staff enough for always welcoming me no matter how long between visits for whatever reason. A truly great gym ❤️

Negative experience: the place is not bad, but they play the game of having two receptionists so when one is wrong you can only talk to the other and that way they take money from you when you register or renounce your membership. simply be very careful and attentive when registering.

Fantastic experience: Good gym. Clean, lots of equipment. Old school vibe. On holidays and went early mid week. Not many there, so no delays on availability of equipment. Music good...not too loud and repetitive.

Fantastic experience: The team at Health and Fitness world are so welcoming from when you first walk in, they're all here to help you feel comfortable and make sure you are seeing results! The gym space is huge, they have over 80+ classes with On Demand Classes. If you need a gym that makes it easy for you to get started and achieve your goals and fit it into your life style, Health and Fitness World will be the one for you.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym in a huge space in the CBD set over two levels. It has all the equipment you could ever need and more with multiple spaces to train both upstairs and downstairs. It's one of those gyms where you find equipment you'd never see at a chain gym (like a sissy squat machine). They offer a $55 weekly pass for those visiting Launceston which means you can keep up with your training while exploring the area. Definitely will be back next time I'm in town!

Fantastic experience: You know the saying "all gyms are haunted"? Well it proves to be completely false here; nearest I can tell there isn't a single tortured soul roaming the halls of HF World, looking for a way to escape this plane of existence. There is also a large selection of equipment and weights, split over two levels and multiple areas. Many of the staff are friendly too. I've also seen Hawthorn players training here when we used to have people from interstate come to Launceston for various reasons. All in all this is a great gym and I would highly recommend it to anyone (unless you're a ghost hunter who has no interest in training at a gym).

Positive experience: I think the staff are great, very easy to talk to and the tour was very informative but I can't give it a full 5 stars. I find them extremely pushy when it comes to possible sign ups and once they have your contact details the amount of advertisement can be quite overwhelming. Also during the brief walk through I left my daughter in the child care facilities and upon returning I had all the on staff members huddled around my daughter shocked saying how they couldn't take their eyes off of her because she has so much energy. I felt that was an odd statement as obviously at such a young age I don't expect them to give her their undividing attention but they gave me the impression that they just didn't know how to manage an active toddler which made me seriously question if I felt comfortable going to that gym this leaving my daughter. So perhaps if you have an alternative for child care and don't mind the rush of advertisement it would be a good gym. But not for me.

Fantastic experience: Best place to train in the area

Fantastic experience: Great range of equipments, great boxing facility, long operating hours (4am-12 midnight), easy roadside parking at night, lots of classes, friendly staff. Only cons will be shower are not in seperate unit -- a bit transparent, and if rate can a bit cheaper ( app. $36 per fortnight , 12 months contract )

Negative experience: Time to move to another gym. They just don't maintain anything in there and I've been training there for over 2 years
