Fantastic experience: I’ve been training Muay Thai at Spear Dojo for almost 5 years now. I initially joined to build confidence and my fitness. 5 years later I’m in the best shape of my life, have worked my way to an instructor, competed multiple times in Amateur fights and have found a place where I belong. The instructors here have a wealth of knowledge coming from backgrounds like Sports Science, Firefighting WA, close quarter combat, competition over many disciplines and so much more. If you’re looking for a gym that is the real deal with a family vibe this is the place.This gym has changed me for the better and has opened up so many different opportunities for me.

Fantastic experience: We highly recommend Spear Dojo. Our 9 year old son has been with the club for just on a year doing both the Zen Do Kai & Muay Thai. He loves the variety in both classes. The instructors are amazing and the kids love them as they make the classes so much fun whilst mastering the techniques, principles and discipline of martial arts.

Fantastic experience: My son, daughter and husband have been attending Spear Dojo for quite a few years now. The kids are always engaged, focused and they love their teachers. The staff, including reception, Sempai's and the owners are always super friendly and helpful. The Sempai's are so great with the kids and keep them motivated along the way. Highly recommend Spear Dojo.

Fantastic experience: My Wife and I were looking for a family oriented martial arts club for our son who was 4 at the time. I used to train at Spear Dojo a few years ago so it was a no brainer to choose Spear Dojo again.....fast forward 4 years and my Son is still enjoying his training and he has made a some good mates. His confidence and self belief has grown exponentially which is exactly what we were hoping for The team at Spears are friendly and welcoming no matter what your fitness level is and they will make you or your child feel right at home, you can't go wrong really

Fantastic experience: My teen daughter was welcomed with open arms and has been a regular participant and part of the Spear Dojo family for the last 3 years. Zen Do Kai has taught her so much. It has also given her confidence to assist with the younger classes. She always leave the dojo with a smile on her face. Spear Dojo offers a range of classes for all ages and I myself have attend some fitness classes which I recommend too, just which I could go more often.

Fantastic experience: I trained at Spear Dojo nearly 15 years ago, and recently I was eager to start again. I just completed my first two weeks using the intro pass and the staff and people training at Spear Dojo are more friendly, helpful and welcoming then I remember. It has been a great experience so far and I am eager to continue. I can't recommend Spear Dojo enough!!!

The staff are committed to ensuring each child receives the support they require to achieve their best. Our son has developed improved physical, social and emotional skills in the past two years. Fantastic experience: If I could rate this place higher than 5, I would. I have trained on and off at the Dojo for years and towards the end of 2021 I commenced 1 on 1 PT sessions with Sandy. At the start of my training I made some lifestyle choices to assist with getting my body back after having my Baby. It has been a strong 10 months of Sandy keeping me motivated and getting me back in shape especially after having a caesarean you lose all your strength. I’m happy to report I’ve now lost all the baby weight & still building strength and maintaining my PT sessions, and it’s all thanks to Sandy and Spear Dojo!

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderfully equipped Dojo with great equipment, facilities and the highest level trainers. I would recommend this Dojo to anyone but the thing that sets this Dojo above others is the warm and friendly environment that makes this such a great experience and welcoming for younger trainers and families looking for somewhere for their little ones to grow.

Fantastic experience: I have been Doing Private Training at spear dojo and have been loving PT, the two receptions Heildi and Sandy have both been amazing help. I have enjoyed my Training with my instructors. I would definitely recommend any beginners to start off by doing PT. :))

Fantastic experience: I’ve trained both zen do Kai and Muay Thai for almost 8 years and I recently changed to spear dojo and I absolutely love training there! My technique has improved tremendously thanks to the finer attention to detail from the instructors and I have made quite a few friends as well while training. Overall an amazing and enjoyable place to train

Fantastic experience: I have recently started at Spear Dojo with my 4 year old sun and from the first free trial session my son and i were so impressed with the instructors and the general vibe, friendly family environment, that made us feel very comfortable and welcom. Since then we have signed for 6 months and have not missed a class. My son loves it so much he can’t wait until Saturday morning. We have also seen a change in my son with his listen and discipline behaviour at home and school. I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience: My 10 year old son started MMA at Speardojo approx 4 months ago, he attends twice weekly and loves it, as well as building confidence, it keeps him fit, he has also made new friends and also enjoys the social outings organised 'ten pin bowling' during the last school holidays. Speardojo is a family orientated establishment, everyone very helpful and supportive.

Fantastic experience: Both my children started at Spear Dojo this year, it is a supportive environment and the kids have really connected with Jacob’s teaching style, they enjoy the classes and I have already noticed a big difference in their self confidence and improvement in their strength. Positive experience: We started out on a trial (10 classes for $10) which was excellent value for money and provided sufficient time for my son to learn enough to want to commit (uniforms aren't cheap and need to be embroided with your child's name; not easy to sell second hand!) . The teaching staff are lovely and very patient which is essential for teaching little kids who lose focus easily. I also really like that there are male teachers who are good role models for the boys. Would definitely recommend Spear Dojo!

Fantastic experience: As a family we train in Zen Do Kai and Muay Thai and have done so for 6 years.This is our 2nd Martial Arts club and we are liking it here so much more as they're genuinely interested in teaching you skills and not just for your $$$. Fantastic experience: An amazing family run Dojo, communication is excellent. They make every kid feel unique, which is very rare these days. My son had serious bullying issues in school and was extremely anxious about starting any martial arts classes. He started Spear's MMA classes 6 months ago and we've seen a huge difference in him already. Highly recommended :)

The instructors are brilliant with the kids and my son will not miss one class. Now my little girl has started the little ninja classes and is doing amazing. Fantastic experience: We would happily describe our family as a Spear Dojo family! Both of my sons love their repsective classes and instructors and I have seen them both grow and develop their skills and resilience. My daughter has just decided to leave dance and begin karate with Spear Dojo. For me, that speaks louder then words!

Fantastic experience: This is a great martial arts club. I joined as a teenager but then moved south and I struggled to find another club with the same work ethic as Spear Dojo. I moved back North 6 years ago and I signed back up in my 30s; my fitness has never been better. Wayne and his instructors really know how to push you to redefine your limits. This is not one of those clubs where they give out a new belt every few months, you have to 'earn' your rank through commitment and hard work. The adult classes teach martial arts in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere with a serious workout. Zen Do Kai is great for strength, focus and self defence and Muay Thai is an awesome sport.

Positive experience: After finding Spear Dojo for my son Cristian to do mma I have found it to have been very good for his confidence and his behaviour. I like the fact that they are very strict on discipline. I am also doing the fitness classes on a Monday and Wednesday and have really enjoyed the fun hard working classes that are put together has really improved my fitness

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been going to Spears since she was 3 and a half. The instructors are fantastic with the kids, all the staff are brilliant! They offer so much more too, my daughter is looking forward to her 7th birthday party there in a couple of weeks and I am loving the adult fitness classes. It certainly has become a part of our family!

Fantastic experience: Spear Dojo has been a part of our weekly life for over 5 years now! A great club for all ages! The instructors at the Dojo have been so amazing keeping our boy motivated and disciplined in his training. The training also can be seen to have an impact in his world outside of the Dojo. Increased confidence, focus and perseverance are just a few skills our boy has learnt!

Fantastic experience: Spear Dojo is a family orientated club, with all instructors being extremely friendly and approachable . It is a friendly and safe environment for children of all ages. My daughter started Spear Dojo when she was 6, she is now 14, and aiming towards her black belt. She has learned how to defend herself and has improved in her confidence. She is now an assistant instructor, which has given her some responsibility. and she enjoys helping the younger children.

Fantastic experience: Enrolling my boys at Spear Do Jo has been the best decision I have made for them. We have been attending for over eight years and the boys love it. The life skills that the boys are learning are invaluable. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The instructors are amazing role models and are highly experienced. Fantastic experience: Spear Dojo is a great training facility. The dojo is a safe, fun environment for children to learn and train in. Our children started at the age of 4 in the little ninjas class and continue to train 5 years later in Zen Do Kai and Muay Thai classes.

Positive experience: Love the family vibe and community conscience at this club! Staff are super friendly and instructors are engaging and professional; fully focussed on teaching proper technique, coupled with respect and self-discipline. Class sizes ensure individual attention at every class. Our teen son feels very much part of his Muay Thai group. Personally I highly recommend Christa, resident yoga guru at the dojo - all yoga abilities catered to. Christa is so good, even Wayne and Sandy take her classes!

Fantastic experience: A great place to learn martial arts with something for the whole family. It is a home away from home for our family. The instructors are great mentors and role models for my kids all while learning martial arts at a high standard.

Fantastic experience: What a great place to train!! It is a family affair for us, the kids have been part of the club for many years and we find all the instructors excellent. They have taught our children some great skills beyond self-defense, such as focus, discipline and perseverance. The adult classes are also highly recommended!! Definitely 5 Stars!!

Fantastic experience: Training at Spear Dojo has been awesome. I recommend going here if you are looking for somewhere that is more concerned about teaching their students than anything else. The Instructors are very experienced and respected which definitely shows in the classes and inspires you, but it is the encouragement and support you get from them and your classmates that really makes this a great place to be.
