Fantastic experience: If i could give more stars i would! The owner and team at DF are second to none, first class facilities including a recovery room with ice bath and sauna! Muay Thai coaching from the best fighters in Cairns and cross training coaches that will inspire you to keep coming everyday. This gym gave me lifelong friends and i could never recommend it and the community they've created highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say before my 13 year old son joined the DF gym he was verbally bullied by kids at his school it was that bad he would not talk to anybody he would just sit by himself and hide hey he was very unhappy child which affected his life at school as well at home but since he's been going to the DF gym they have given him the confidence to stand up for himself mentally as well as physically he is a stronger person now than what is what he was when he first started he is much happier he actually starts to interact with other kids now he's was really overweight the DF gym has inspired him to take control of his weight problem and he is losing weight bit by bit which is giving him more confidence the trainers are absolutely great with kids I can't think them enough what they've done for my son so I'll end this with thanks to all the staff and trainers at the DF Gym and we're sure to see yous at training

Fantastic experience: If you're looking to get out of your comfort zone, learn a new skill and most importantly do something rewarding for yourself , come to DF! The members are all so friendly and the trainers are incredibly inspirational. The trainers here are all so humble, knowledgeable and have so many titles/belts so you know you are learning from the best of the best. Ryan the head coach is phenomenal, he has taught me so much in such a short time I have been at DF. Tristan also takes the Muay Thai fitness classes and he is incredible. Kristen at the front desk is also amazing! Pat has created a wonderful environment for the members of his gym. People at all fitness levels are here, and everyone is so supported. They offer muay thai fitness, cross fit, and an open gym.

Fantastic experience: A wonderful space in a great location, the lovely owners and coaches have made a welcoming community and attract friendly members. The classes have a great variety of times available as well as open gym all day which make it easy to access. Facilities are new, clean and there is heaps of equipment. Especially love the ice bath! There is nothing else like it in Cairns.

Fantastic experience: High quality establishment. The combination of Thai boxing and cross training under one roof works very well here. It is quite the family friendly establishment. Has fitness passport options available. Also has the added features of an in-house ice bath and sauna. To top it all off Excellent staff/trainers. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: DF Gym has such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere and all the coaches and staff make you feel like part of the family. You always get such a good workout from the cross training classes and each day is different so you never get bored and keep learning new skills.

Fantastic experience: DF Gym is the best fitness community I’ve ever been part of! Learning Muay Thai was so enjoyable and rewarding, especially the Beginner to Beast program. I also loved going to the Kickboxing fitness classes each week with my friend, it made me feel very strong! The staff and trainers are outstanding and really made this beginner feel welcome and supported. I have really missed my sessions at DF Gym since moving away.

Fantastic experience: Staff and members are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. When I started, staff would introduce themselves and explain anything necessary. It is a really supportive environment and enjoyable place to go to, with good music and an awesome atmosphere!

Fantastic experience: Great people are teaching and training there. I go to DF to gain my fitness as I do different martial arts. The coaches show full respect to different styles and backgrounds so they never try to change my form to Muay Thai. They are very open and pay attentions to everyone.

Fantastic experience: The facility is second to none with so many options for training and plenty of equipment. Really though it is the trainers and atmosphere that sets the gym apart from the rest. Every single person is made to feel like family from the trainers to the clients. The hardest part of starting at a new gym is walking in the front door. Here you’re made to feel welcome right from the start. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned fighter or epic cross fitter, there is a place for you here. I’ve been coming here for many years now and never think about changing. Give it a go, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Fantastic experience: Very good atmosphere where everyone looks to learn and come together to do some tough classes for better health. Gets very full on a Monday evening so you have to make sure to book in!

Negative experience: Little bit dissapointed with the junior Muay Thai.. my son is 12 and 75/80kgs and the amount of times he was put with a child that's half his size and height or even a third of his size for training exercises and or sparring was a bit insane. My son couldn't get to his potential because of this which is super dissapointing hence why we have left and switched Muay Thai gyms to a gym that recognised this and is able to do juniors and teens and more class times. Disappointed.

Fantastic experience: You want to get fit, protect yourself, learn or master your sport, DF Gym is the place. The skills and confidence within my 15 year old daughter over the years has been amazing. Not only is this a friendly and family environment, the trainers are also very professional. Each trainer has their own technique as well their own personality which means they can try to match up a trainer that will suit the individuals training and strengths as well achieving their goals.

Fantastic experience: The only place in Cairns to incorporate fitness into your life. This gym bought me out of a bad time in life and I have not only the qualified trainers and awesome members to thank for that but the welcoming vibes too. Even if Muay Thai is not your thing, the cross training is super effective to get those abs of steel and maintain your physical and mental heath. I’ve supported DF gym for over 3 years and it’s without a doubt I will continue too. Members say it’s their “Second family” because it really is true. The only gym to be at! Get amongst it. You will not regret it.

Fantastic experience: There is no better place to train than at DF.Gym! Whether you want to Crossfit, Muay Thai, weight train on your own or have some one on one personal training done this place has it all. My son has been training here for just over 5 yrs now and is a 3 time Muay Thai title holder!! The community is nothing like you’ve experienced anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, lots of different classes on everyday. Coaches are very helpful with guidance for beginners, there were three of us beginners at cross training today and the coach gave some extra instruction for us. Plus put extra attention into making sure we were doing the movements correctly. In regards to the Muay Thai they have numerous coaches with a large of about of in ring experience. You just need to see how many belts are hanging up to know this gym breeds champions!!!
