Revo Fitness Marion

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy working out at Revo fitness. The facility is clean, the equipment is well-maintained, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It’s a great environment for fitness. One small suggestion, while using the glute drive machine, I noticed that the light shines directly into my eyes, which can be a bit distracting. If possible, adjusting the machine’s location or the lighting would make the experience even better. Overall, it’s a fantastic gym, and I highly recommend it

Positive experience: Some air conditioners don't work and sometimes the ones that are working are not in cool mode. It is unacceptable for the Australian summer

Fantastic experience: Huge set-up for a Revo fitness as i have seen couple of more branches of Revo & this Marion road one is one of the biggest with lots of equipment around & spacious too.

Negative experience: I have a membership here but I haven’t gone or paid in about three months and then today they decided to take 122$ out of my account so I decided to call them and see what was happening and they didn’t even answer I just got hung up on

Positive experience: I’m pretty stoked with all the Revo gyms in general. However, as Marion is my local, I would love to see various aspects upgraded to being on par with other venues. A/C was struggling today (40 C)… bathrooms are not the nicest and the massage chairs are definitely superior in the other Revo venues.

Positive experience: Air con does not work in summer which means it is extremely hard to complete your planned workout. Reported the issue many times but always get reply that it is being fixed. I have been with Revo over a year now and attended beverly, marion, woodcroft and glenelg and all of the brnaches have same issue.

Negative experience: Gym is ok. Membership is cheap but that also equates to the equipment being cheap too. Smith machines and leg presses are built for children. Could do with more and better quality pin loaded machines. Can’t comment on the ladies, but the men’s bathroom is an absolute disgrace. Lower than public toilet standards, one of the locks on the stalls has been broken for months now. Always stinking, pipes hanging out of the ceiling, no changing facilities or lockers.

Negative experience: They charged me two late payment fees for a payment on my account while it is meant to be frozen, then I check my account to see they cancelled the freeze without communicating with me. I have sent two emails and attempted to call and have not received a response to anything. The club bathrooms are disgusting and unfinished. It was always overpopulated with a bad equipment to member ratio and the variety of machines is dreadful. To top it all off, there are holes in the ceiling the leak even with the slightest bit of rain. Terrible club. Terrible service, and there is no official email address or listed contact information to sort things out when you need to - had to get the number from a different club.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience here recently, awesome facilities and a very helpful club manager that took the time to walk me through the whole gym answer all of my demanding questions. Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic experience: Loving it! My housemates and I do workouts here and we love how affordable it is and there's no lock in contracts! We also run hot water on solar so it's incredibly difficult to get hot water at home especially with winter approaching, and the showers here are just everything we need! Last gym I went to, the showers were so tiny with no space and no hook for your bag, this gym has a nice spacious shower and a hook for the bag! If anything I would want to see an upgrade to the gym in future. Due to you guys being very popular your machines are always in use so it's not easy to get a go at working out unless you go late at night. I also use the live counter on the app but it's not easy for me to work around my schedule sometimes.

Negative experience: The cancellation is super difficult. No one in reception when you like to cancel your membership. After officially cancel your membership, in couple days they will ask you pay extra fee again. I could not find anyone in their reception anytime. No one answer the phone as well. Very great service

Positive experience: Big and roomy, loads of new equipment. Plenty of good lifting gear and still a fair bit of cardio and nice stretching area. *edit 4 stars now because the men's toilets are absolutely feral. No urinal so you have to battle one of the three preworkout-destroyed bowls and walk out without throwing up.

Positive experience: Here for the equipment but probably the worst when it comes to air flow. Worst part is the air conditioner I think non of them work at this point, no fans either even when the gym isn’t crowded it’s still hot and makes it harder to work out. They need at least fans or something

Positive experience: Great quality gym equipment, large floor space with a variety of zones dedicated to things like stretching/foam rolling, weights, cardio, sled area, etc. Staff are friendly and sign in and out system works flawlessly. Removed 1 star because it's the hottest commercial gym I've ever been to (15+ years gym experience) likely due to using evaporative AC, not turning on all available vents and being on the second storey. Removed a second star because the mens toilets are putrid. Really no other way to describe it. Literally dread going in there, have to hold my breath for as long as possible while I endure the fumes. No exhaust fans or vents at all. Only 3 toilets which you're lucky if they're all functional simultaneously. Have spoken to management about it but nothing yet has changed. I'm looking forward to changing my star rating once these issues are fixed ☺️

Negative experience: Decent equipment. Relatively clean. However, the air conditioning is an absolute joke. Only 2 of the 5 units in the free weights area are operatinal and the rest are broken for months now. Every time I ask, the answer is 'We are working on it'. On hot days it is easily over 30 degrees upstairs. How long before someone gets a heat stroke? Overall, good value for money but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, fix the air conditioning.

Positive experience: Just signed up and enjoying it so far. As others have said though, a ridiculously packed gym most times. I've been at 4am and it was busy, I've been at 10pm and it was slammed. I shudder to think what it would be like if I went at 3 or 4 pm lol Great staff and great equipment, amazing facilities. Big problem is people on equipment just sitting on their phones, God I know it will never happen but I wish gyms would just ban phones on the gym floor. Anyway, love the gym, definitely cleanest in Adelaide albeit also the most packed full of gym junkies. In reply to owner: cheers for that will check it out, I'm sure it will be super helpful

Negative experience: It's ok if your young and instagrammy. Bit intimidating when all you want to do is train and do your own thing and you have people standing around. Staff is ok - but honestly no real help to show you around the gym because there's like one front desk staff. I went here once and the staff couldn't show me around or even talk me through the safety stuff after hours - he just explained it even though I had no idea where is what. I feel no connection with this gym. Fend for yourself and I guess it's more the young ones that pose in front of mirrors. Signing up is on line and really no face value. For a gym franchise, surely the staff would want ti connect with their members.

Positive experience: Don’t go during peak hour unless you like smelly dudes with extreme body odour, big groups of 15 year olds huddling around a bench press or middle aged guys with a suspicious amount of back acne who loudly smash their weights. Equipment is good though and the staff are nice. Hand sanitiser seems to be gone, but I assume that will get fixed.

Negative experience: Should ask terms and conditions if you want to join the membership. I joined the membership and want to cancel my membership next day morning but gym manager said I need to pay extra $30 for refund. Manager said they explained this ridiculous policy when I joined the gym but they never explained this policy and just forced me to tick the agreement because it is no lock in contract. Such a horrible customer service and the most expensive gym membership for me. I just paid $42 for 12 hours membership.

Positive experience: Great space with plenty of brand new equipment. Not too busy! Only downfall is that hygiene standards have plummeted since the removal of wipe dispensers. No-one really uses the cloths & spray and wipe, which seem less clean regardless as the same chux cloth is used for hours and hours. Would love to see dispensers brought back in to maintain cleanliness.

Negative experience: Space is alright. But equipment is cheap and range of motion is limited. BE REALLY CAREFUL WHEN SIGN UP MONTHLY DIRECT DEBIT!!! They still keep charging me monthly even after I have already canceled and received confirmation of cancellation email!!! Tried to cal them to solve this. The manager said she will solve the problem and call me back, but never get this solved and never get a ring back!!! I have to come back to the reception to solve this. But every time, there is a different staff at the reception to tell you they are new to the gym and don’t know how the management is doing with this?

Positive experience: Cheap gym, not too busy, equipment feels a bit cheap compared to others around but can’t complain with membership price

Fantastic experience: Good gym and great price. The only thing that spoils it is so many people sitting on equipment staring at their mobile phones. At busy times this really limits the amount of available benches and machines.

Negative experience: Not a bad space - but the equipment is cheap/poor: - Weight platforms are too mushy and sink weights too far on setup (e.g., for deadlifts) while the 'wooden' centre is too slippery and may pose risks for injury. - Rack pins are too deep making un-racking needlessly deeper. - All of the benches on the premise have a slippery coating/surface and are narrow. - ALL the barbells in the gym spin EXCESSIVELY in your hands making generating tightness in your grip impossible (for bench or OHP). The space had potential to be great, but the choice to procure 'Ziva' branded equipment makes this gym a poor choice for anyone that cares about their program.
