Positive experience: I love the new renovations. However trying to find sanitiser wipes to clean the equipment is hard. There are only two units to service this massive gym. One hidden away in the corner at each end of the gym. An extra two or three units scattered along the centre of the gym would be really helpful. More people would wipe down equipment helping to keep better hygiene for everyone. Ensuring the hand sanitiser at the front door is full would be good too.

Fantastic experience: I have just joined this gym because of an awesome staff, Kathy. She just made the half-minded me like this gym with her great smile and fantastic customer service and pointing out benefits of each deals on offer. The gym also is clean and with enough equipment required for most of the fitness enthusiasts. The recent reno and the extension has made this gym a lot more classy.

Fantastic experience: What a great gym with a good assortment of equipment and at a plenty. Got a comparable size to Derimut Gym, It's also way less crowded and it seems people are much more respectful and friendly at Sunshine Fitness. Hygeine wise, very well maintained. The staff are top notch and friendly on all occasions, shoutout Kathy who really makes a point to know and talk to the gym goers.

Fantastic experience: Gym is big with plenty of space with heaps of machines and free weight area. Staff are very friendly and were very quick to rectify a membership billing error. Highly recommend this gym

Negative experience: Be careful, I have joined Sunshine Fitness on November of 2022, but I knew that I signed a contract of 1 year., but between this time I have moved interstates and would not be able to keep going to this gym , but accepted the fact that I would have to pay for 1 year, but, after one year, no one called me to see if I would like to keep the plan or to cancel it, and it just kept going, and now when I realized that this money was coming out my bank account every week for the past 2 years, I chocked and tried to cancel it, and they said to me that there is a cancelation notice, I was like, JESUS : 0 I understand that I should have kept my eyes on it, but like, the gym that I go now, they call me if something is wrong, the plan is for 12 months on the end of it they call you and ask if you want to keep with your enrolment, like, they know if you have been attending or not, they can see it on the system, and I just felt like an opportunity to make money. They don't really care, now days are so many people that don't speak English well and don't understand how the gym's procedures work, and I was one of this people who didn't speak English fluently. Anyway, not a good experience for me.

Fantastic experience: This is such a fabulous gym!! All of the staff are so friendly and helpful, they do a good job of keeping the gym clean and positive. Lots of equipment and space.

Negative experience: Bought some products on their site via debit card as their Paypal wouldn't work. That was the first red flag I should've paid attention to. 10 days later I had no product and they sent an email stating a refund would be received in up to TEN days. No explanation, no apology, no replies to my emails or FB messages, nothing. Pathetic. Bunch of time wasting crooks.

Negative experience: Some of the machines are broken and could be better options for leg exercises. Machine never gets wiped down don’t even get me start on the air conditioning. Friday I went to the gym, no staff (understandably public holiday) but the whole gym was locked no fan or air conditioning on and the heat was horrible. We felt so sick being in there we couldn’t breathe and continue our work out so we left. This gym never turn air conditioning on especially we needed the cool air most in this weather. It’s been like that for a while and Only gotten worst

Negative experience: This gym is so far worst gym around the area, they don’t turn Air conditioning on which is terrible.especially on a locked wear house with lot of windows. There’s no windows for free airflow, they would often turn on these fan which spinning heated air and make it difficult to breath, often I felt sick and couldn’t workout in there. I rather pay $50 extra per year to have a safe space at another gym, people go to gym to help our health but this place certainly would make you sick . Heat stroke

Negative experience: This gym just been renovated and there’s a leaking stray voltage to the ground It is highly dangerous likely to cause harm death. Near the water fountain and the stair if you touch them together you’ll be electrocuted We have reported this Hazard to the management weeks ago Nothing has been done. THIS IS SAFETY HAZARD

Fantastic experience: Finally found my home! After 3 years trying to find the right gym, I'm very pleased to say I've found the right one! The gym is very well stocked with equipment and there is no one staring at you - everyone is just there doing their thing! The owners and their staff are all lovely. I always get a smile and wave when I walk in. I've been after hours and never felt unsafe. If you're looking for a gym around Sunshine, I couldn't recommend Sunshine Fitness enough.

Negative experience: Seeing several other negative online reviews with similar experiences to me, I thought I’d better share mine. I’d noticed I’d still been charged 4 times over 4 weeks after the agreed final payment date, I tried to call several times about my issue, but no one was available to help me - These issues are a consistent pattern among these other reviews. So I decided to go in person to be met by the two, admittedly, very friendly owners (perhaps the only redeeming quality of this business). The situation goes as follows. I signed a form to end my contract on the 23rd of Feb, the final billing date SHOULD have been no later then the 23rd of March. I’d continued to be billed 4 times after that, I tried to get those 4 payments back, but they came up with some silly reason to only pay me back for 3 of the 4 owed payments, this was done all through a thinly veiled, friendly, “customer service” smile. The two owners also practically begged me to take this review down and tried to verbally de-legitimise all the other reviews with whom I share a very similar experience. With that said, the fact is they still owe me $20, which in the grand scheme of things isn’t that much money, but for a business with hundreds of members, each paying A LOT for a gym of such a mediocre standard, you’d think they’d be able to front the full amount of money that is owed. I do admittedly feel bad leaving a review for two gentlemen who genuinely have a nice energy about them, but I can’t get past the idea that they wouldn’t repay me the full amount they owed me. Ultimately, it’s just a gym, there’s nothing special about it or intrinsically bad about the experience you’ll have there. Just make sure to be careful with your money with this lot. My experience with leaving this gym has been astoundingly unpleasant.

Positive experience: Good In a lot of aspects just needs more equipment such as another hack squats hip thrust machine etc. People are super nice and friendly though but I’d definitely recommend it. Did this ever end up happening ?

Negative experience: DON'T TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR BANK DETAILS!! I decided to give the gym a go on a month to month plan. I went three times but I found the gym quite dirty (stains all over the floor, bad smell, etc). I cancelled and agreed to pay out the following 28 days as per their policy. It has now been months and I've just realised they're still debiting my account $14.99 every week! I've called twice, sent five emails, and the only response I've received so far is we'll look into it. I've since moved countries so every call is costing me more and I can't go in and stay till they fix it. Honestly the worst experience with a gym that I've ever had. Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: This is among one of the best gym I've ever been to, clean, professional environment with a great atmosphere and well maintained equipment. The staff are always super helpful the couple of time I've visit here casually. There are plentiful equipment to get you through any workout. My only concern is that I wish they had better equipment in the strength area, there is simply too much clutter of different branded weight plates, and the squat/bench racks are not on par with equipment from other gyms. Maybe some nicer calibrated plates or better combo racks?. Overall, I highly recommend this gym and consider moving here in the foreseeable future

Fantastic experience: A really good gym, especially for beginners like me. Staff are friendly and respectful. Other gym users are nice and always minding their own business too. Equipment are always clean and wiped every night, which is good to see. But men toilet needs some smell improvement. Boxing area is nice too, although I wish they had a speedball. However, overall, been using this gym for 3 months and am very happy with it so far.

Negative experience: They continued to debit my account when the lockdown was on and access to the gym wasnt available. No one from the gym or debit success reply or want to fix the situation. They immediately get onto debt collectors when i stop the payments, bloody terrible service over a small amount of money. would not ever recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: Best place for Crossfit and Combines. The weight section is highly equipped .I had to travel to a different state due to Covid Border restrcitions and they were very cooperative in my subscription management. Preet the manager is a lad!

Fantastic experience: The ample parking space, sufficient equipment, and space help with proper training, the owner is very kind, so if you find a good exercise center for Sunshine, come here.

They genuinely care about the gym and the people who train there, which I think is quite rare. Clean and well-maintained equipment. I can highly recommend this place. The enormous picture of Kai Greene makes it feel like a true church of iron to me ;)

Always expanding the range of equipment which is great for keeping your workouts fresh. Not only that, the owners are staff are friendly and easy to talk to. They were so helpful when I got pregnant & helped with with my payments which was great communication & customer service on their part! I’ve been a member for more than 2years & have never had any issues. The gym is huge & they have everything I love to use. Positive atmosphere and I highly recommend! Very affordable & they have so much variety to choose from, as well as a room for females if you wish to work out away from the main area.

Negative experience: My daughter has a disability and she needs a carer to go with her to the Gym. My daughter's carer needs to show her how to do activities on the equipment and participate to keep my daughter's motivation going. When my daughter joined it was discussed this would be ok that my daughter's carer could do this by a nice young man and there would be no stress. So my daughter joined for one year. And then the Manager of the gym was very abusive and would not let the carer use the equipment beside my daughter. He did not care or have any empathy for my daughter's situation and yelled at her and her carer. My daughter now was told she could no longer go and her Carer had to pay a full membership if she continued to support my daughter at her sessions.This is utter discrimination and especially as it was agreed by another staff member that this would be fine. How about a bit of compassion for people with disabilities and not think about making money off people needing care staff. I am so disgusted with the Manager of this Gym. Now we are going to another Gym that has welcomed my daughter and her Carer, who can participate with no problem at all, which is how it should be so disability is not discriminated against if support is required. Hope you are ashamed of yourself sunshine fitness, but I don't hold out much hope, as the Manager is one of the most horrible people I have had to encounter!!!!

Negative experience: Just after the money . Very disappointed. Please avoid this place. Its a big gym and I used to like it, I even made couple of my friends join too. Bit disappointed to write this review now but all of us have a negative exp. In my case I moved out of Sunshine recently and requested the owners on 13th Sept to cancel my services. They replied affirmative. On 10th Nov (almost 2 months after notice) as soon as the gym opened they started debiting the money again. I visited the gym and was given the assurance by the manager that they will stop charging immediately, however since last two weeks they have continued to deduct money from my account. This is cheating the customer and not respecting your terms of service and words.Will not suggest this place anymore to anyone.

Negative experience: I have been joined the membership at the Sunshine fitness 24/7 for over one year.The staff are very friendly.The environment is very high standard of hygiene. I like the private exercise room and bathrooms for ladies . The most important thing to me that the customer need to be treated with respect . The business has temporary closed for the coronavirus 19 but the management didn’t inform me even by email mail or text message when they were closed and reopened. After reopening, they were overcharged me for membership fees . I checked bank statement few days later and I found out that issue but I didn’t have a explanation or apology from the management . I came to the club to report the overcharged issue and filled out the form to keep my membership on hold for six weeks because the coronavirus pandemic but I still be charged for membership fees in the following week. I’m very disappointed to leave and never ever come back here again.
