Negative experience: Terrible gym. They will “cancel” your membership and keep taking your money!! Then when you try and talk to them they tell you you’re still under contract and won’t let you cancel because of overdues which should not be there since the membership has been cancelled previously!!

Negative experience: Do not sign up I paid my closing fee multiple times but they still continue to harasse me to pay more. They have enlisted multiple debt collectors to chase me even though I asked many times for my account to be closed and I paid multiple closing fees Very dodgy. I now go to genisis fitness

Negative experience: Really poor customer service, if you have card problems, they won't contact you and charge you extra fees weekly.

Positive experience: Good Gym. Showers have gaps in the doors, which is pretty bad for unisex change rooms.

Fantastic experience: Possibly the best Anytime Fitness I've trained at. Big space, great machine selection, nice ambient light & on the ground floor (so no foam padding everywhere).

Negative experience: Don’t sign up with them! They will rinse you and give no sympathy to your situation. They lock you in and you have to pay to leave. They don’t remind you on the end date of your sign up so when a year later comes and you are expecting them to message you to let you know that it will automatically reinstate you for another year, they don’t say anything then your stuck paying for another year. Then they say we’ll you can try and give your yearly pass to someone else. Get online and advertise it, it’s not our problem is what they said. Just pay as you go, No sign up. Well more worth it

Positive experience: The gym itself is good, quality machines and friendly staff etc but the music, man the music! It's so terrible, like right now I'm blasting metal in noise cancelling headphones and I can still hear this terrible pop music coming though. Please just turn it down!! Also it's uncomfortable when the cleaners start mopping around you, especially on the treadmills - your running hard and get a lung full of cleaning chemicals!! I've left the gym several times half way through a workout from this ‍♂️

Fantastic experience: My wife and I train at Anytime Fitness at Toormina. We are very happy with the friendly staff who are always willing to help. We've had the help of a Personal Trainer which we found very useful. it's just what we've been looking for. We are a little older than most but definitely not past it. So try it, you'll like it.

Fantastic experience: There's a saying within the sales and marketing hemisphere, and it goes like this: "Word of mouth is the most powerful marketing tool." There's a reason why everyone at Toormina and Sawtell speak so highly of Kym at Anytime Fitness. She is by far the most effective gym manager I have ever encountered, and I'm not the only one singing her praises. Many of the other locals share my views. Kym is polite and courteous. She always smiles and gives me a warm welcome whenever I enter the gym. The positive energy she exudes has motivational impact which prompts me to get into solid workouts. The gym is clean and tidy, and any issues that I sound out do get addressed immediately. Everything operates smoothly. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that competing gymnasiums are watching these positive reviews closely. Kym is highly effective and has developed a very strong reputation because of the positive impact she has provided. Kym definitely deserves a very big pay rise! Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to the gym for many years. I've seen it all. What stands at Toormina Anytime is the manager. Kym is extraordinary! She goes the extra mile and it stands out. This is definitely appreciated. Kym is motivated and reacts promptly with any request I make. Furthermore, I have several phobias, and at times become nervous and anxious. Kym listens when I make my concerns known, and clears a safe space for me, so that I can do my workouts in a peaceful and safe environment. The gym is kept clean, damaged equipment is repaired promptly, and Kym is always pleasant and professional.

Fantastic experience: The manager at Anytime Fitness in Toormina is absolutely AMAZING! Every time I walk in, I am pleasantly greeted and I immediately feel super pumped up, and ready for a solid workout. I get so pumped, I feel like one of those gym balls, which are pumped up to the MAX, and bounce around all over the place. Kym is a great motivator. Kym helps me keep it that. Kym is FANTASTIC!

Fantastic experience: Best Business Plan for a gym, very flexible for attending multiple venues. Affordable rates. Great equipment and and some good programs. No martial arts at the one I regularly attend, that's the only thing I miss. Clean and serviceable.

Positive experience: The arrival of Anytime Fitness is best thing that happened to Toormina. I am grateful for the operators and the owners for their hard work and I am sure this gym is going to be a success. The actual size of the gym is smaller than the one in Coffs, and the space between machines is less. Some of the machines I got used to at Coffs are not available here, I guess due to the space restrictions. I feel I am invading other people's private space while using some of the equipment. The beauty bar is a nice touch, but the changing rooms are claustrophobic and the bench in one of them is very fragile. I know the following sounds first world problems, but the water bubbler is not refrigerated, there is no mechanical column scale and you can't choose your songs like other places. On a personal level I am very lucky to be one of the foundation members. It comes with a reasonably priced weekly rate. However, as it was promised that I would be one of the first fifty VIPs and I thought that would come with some perks. Nothing has been offered yet and I feel that little things could make a difference: remembering my name or not try to sign me up again via sales calls. I understand that there is an expansion planned into the next area, so I believe that Anytime Fitness Toormina is in good hands and soon will be a five star gym. Make sure you visit this local gem!
