Fantastic experience: I thought I’d leave an honest review that truly reflects the gym I go to. From the moment you walk in, this place feels great. The Impala crew are all lovely, welcoming, and always happy to help. The lovely couple running the place have done an amazing job turning this place around. It was already a good gym, but now it feels even better there’s a fresh energy and everyone seems to love the new look and vibe. The gym has top-quality equipment and spotless facilities, plus an upstairs area if you’d prefer a quieter space and even a boxing section. I also love that they’ve added a drink fridge and coffee station — such a nice touch. The atmosphere here is second to none and really makes you want to train. Definitely recommend Impala to anyone

Negative experience: I parked at the back of an empty carpark near the church, not realizing it was private property. I was approached by someone—presumably staff or the owner—who was extremely rude, swore at me, and showed no courtesy while explaining that the carpark was paid for by them. When I asked where their respect was, they continued to be dismissive. Had they spoken respectfully, I would’ve gladly moved my car and apologized. Instead, I was left baffled by how disrespectful the bloke was. I also emailed Impala to explain what happened but received no response, which only added to the frustration. If this is how they choose to treat strangers, I wouldn’t recommend visiting. A little courtesy goes a long way. If this wasn’t the owner, I’ll happily remove this review as the other staff are quite respectful and nice—but based on the lack of response from Impala and the familiar-looking face on their website, I believe it may have been the owner. I was also a member of this gym for months and switched because of financial reasons, so its disappointing to be treated like this after I gave them my money for a while.

Negative experience: Used to be a good gym before the owners took over, they lost a really good team and a lot of valuable members but I guess that’s what happens when they don’t pay their team correctly, treat them like numbers and have zero idea how to run a successful gym, years ago I’d say best gym to be at, now the only good thing I have to say is the bakery down the road is good, stay away guys

Fantastic experience: The vast improvements to the gym in only a short time, shows they care about their members! The gym is always tidy and every member is friendly, the staff are great and supportive! Wether your into cardio, bodybuilding, powerlifting or strongman Impala has it all

Fantastic experience: Been going to impala for awhile now, place has great facility and they’ve recently renovated the toilets and still doing more renovations to improve everyone’s experience, the gym is always clean and every member there is respectful. The gym ambassador has a great personality and is always happy to help (Impala chose the best person) they have helped a lot in my fitness journey. I would highly recommend trying this gym

Fantastic experience: Excellent equipment and newly renovated bathrooms are great! Child minding facilities and plenty of boxing gear , tea and coffee station , 24/7 access also a plus. Not one issue to report after almost 3 years of going. The regulars are friendly , same as the staff.

Negative experience: Went to cancel my membership as I was not using it anymore, had to give them 30 days notice of cancellation of which I still had to pay for the membership fees. I suppose I should have read the contract properly before signing it. Hope this review can save someone some money. As for the gyms equipment/facilities, it's decent, pretty much the same as every other gym out there. If you're looking for a gym to join, find one that doesn't try to siphon every last cent out of you before you leave

Fantastic experience: Honestly the shining star of this gym is Tammy, she is the most supportive, motivating person you will ever meet. Wether you are a long time gym goer or a first timer, she will make you feel so comfortable and motivated to come and workout in one of the best atmosphere's that she's created within the gym. The culture that SHE has built within Impala makes it one of the best places to come in Perth. She also makes for a fantastic photographer!

Fantastic experience: Male, 42, mainly use the weights. Well equipped gym with a heap of different machines. I've never had to wait for a machine as there are a number of others to use instead. Clean and tidy place, very friendly staff and nothing is too hard for them to sort out. I actually look forward to going each time as the various machines and general atmosphere makes you want to go. Sometimes I don't even realise I've done an hour until checking the time. Cardio section has all the goodies and you'll always get a medicine you want. Has a creche and classes as well. The wife does the classes and enjoys those too as they push you just enough. You will become addicted to this place and it will help your motivation. Monthly memberships so you're not locked in all year too.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of this gym since it opened (over 15+ years!) and will always highly recommend signing up! I've been a member of other gyms and nothing comes close to this one. For me the community vibe you get from the staff and the other members is far beyond any other gym I've been to. It's one big happy Gym Family! Every person of age, weight, sex or ability is in this gym working on their health and fitness and you are pushed and genuinely encouraged along the way. There is plenty of weights and equipment to choose from, and fun gym classes run by multiple instructors means you are never bored with your workouts. Looking for a gym to join? Look no further.

I've been a member since day 1 of Impala and couldn't fault the vibe. Thankful for what it has given me, the strength, the friendships, the confidence. At my heaviest I still felt comfortable to walk into the gym and workout.

Fantastic experience: Big and very well planned gym that is fully featured. Staff are brilliant: very friendly and helpful. Might be one of the very few gyms that doesn't lock you down with aggressive plans, and it is very well priced. Their Facebook page is a testament to how passionate their clients are and how well they engage with their members.

Fantastic experience: I love this place, the gym equipment is better than other gym place that I've been before, the place that's also next to the big road which makes ne feel more save if I go to at night time after work. Nice and clean, very well maintain equipment.

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym a couple of months ago and I love it. The weights/machines etc area alone is bigger and better than most gyms out there. They have a large separate area with tread mills, ellipticals and bikes etc and if that is not enough, they have another big area at the back where they hold different classes. It has more punching bags than many boxing gyms out there, lots of kettle bells, weights, jumping boxes and much more stuff that I haven't even checked out yet lol. The price is almost same as other gyms and you get much more.

Fantastic experience: LOVE IT! Best gym in perth where everyone is welcome and made to feel like family. Very well priced and with amazing staff and owners. They all genuinely care and this sets them apart from all the others. They are helpful and knowledgeable and want to help you reach your goals. There is something to suit every fitness level from hard bodied professionals to others looking to better ourselves. The classes are amazing and are constantly changing so you never get bored & they also offer personal trainers, nutritional information and much more.

Fantastic experience: A good gym. Some of the equipment ends up damaged and stops working which is a shame but all in all I had a good experience here, decent space, Tv's to watch, good quality fans for the end, ice cold water fountain. It's a shame I moved away otherwise I'd still be a member.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member for nearly 5 years and I’d never go to another gym there’s plenty of quality equipment for weights or cardio training as well as great classes that give you a great workout at any fitness level. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and the trainers are experienced and able to work around your busy schedule to obtain your health and fitness goals. This gym has a sense of community and family values and I’ve made lots of friends over the years.

Fantastic experience: I've been to many gyms in my time but this one stands out for a few reasons: friendly owners who genuinely care about you, it's never too busy that you have to queue for equipment, and it's very impressively equipped. I've been going here for many years now and have no intention of leaving.
