Negative experience: No lock in contract, but still have to pay another month after canceling ‍♂️ feel pretty locked in to me

Negative experience: This gym has let itself go a bit. I reckon it is a bit overpriced despite some of the upgrades. A good amount of the equipment is really showing its age. And when you need help at the desk, I really wish there would be staff available to assist more often to help with any inquiries. 70 percent of the time, the staff are off chatting to other members. If you’re trying to get any equipment fixed, it’ll be a good 4 weeks on average or longer to get repaired.

Negative experience: After weeks of promising my money back Luke blocked my Facebook profile and no money was sent, stay away from this gym.

Fantastic experience: iGym is honestly my favourite place to be. If there is an afterlife, I hope it is just igym. I have had nothing but a great experience with the staff and the every other aspect of this gym. Except for that one time at 2am when my key card wasn’t working, but the incredible atmosphere that has been developed at this gym counteracts that incident. Thank you to everyone at iGym for providing such an intricate and caring approach to all your members. I truly feel so special the way the staff greet me every time I walk in that door.

Negative experience: Possibly the worst gym I have ever visited. I joined for 6 months and feel stuck. 1. I paused the subscription for some time and they keep on sending me messages with some debtors asking for money. I confirmed the pause on 2 saperate calls but still i get a message for money. Not only the gym fee but they keep on putting late fee charges. 2. I confirmed with the person before joining that I will need the functional room after hours as we would like to use steps and other equipments and they confirmed its available. The functional area they meant was in the main gym which does not have have proper equipments. To me thats dishonesty. They have made going to the gym more hectic rather than making the process smooth. No one is even available most of the time. I really spend money for not going to the gym whereas I used to travel kms to visit another gym in Karingal and joined this one as its near to my place.

Negative experience: Dirty mouldy overpriced broken gym equipment nor repaired or replaced,, months ago l went out front to see a work colleague came back in and was accused of dealing drugs by the lard at the front desk

Fantastic experience: iGym is without a doubt the best gym I’ve been a member of. The club managers are super friendly and always greet you with a smile and a bit of banter, which starts your session off right. The members of the club are equally friendly and come from all walks of life, making the gym floor feel like an inclusive and welcoming place. Recently I saw a group of teenage boys spot a younger boy who appeared to be new to the gym. They approached him and offered him guidance and invited him to train with them. I feel like that quite accurately sums up the atmosphere of the gym. The facility is always well maintained and there is a range of equipment and free weights, enough benches and squat racks that you don’t spend half your session waiting for something to open up, and a selection of classes if you feel like mixing things up. They also have a number of trainers who offer tailored personal training. I’ve tried a few other gyms in the area and nothing comes close to the facilities and general vibe of igym. I had to move house recently and literally ruled out certain areas because they were too far from my gym. Just go sign up. You’ll love it.

Positive experience: Sometimes the wifi doesn't work but honestly overall a very good gym. Id like to give it a 5 Star but 5 Star would imply perfection.

Fantastic experience: Staff were incredibly engaging and friendly. Helped me out with signing up. Nothing seemed to be a hassle. Felt as though I was chatting with friends. Can't wait to come back again. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone in the area

Negative experience: Customer service does not exist at i gym. No compassion or care towards local clients. Such a shame as this place could be great. Machines not kept clean, gym generally always a mess. Staff never on site. Go somewhere and save yourself a lot of hassle.

Negative experience: Lucky I’m not allowed to give 0/5 star otherwise that’s what it would be. After automatically being charged $13 a week since 2020 it’s finally come to an end. In 2021 I spoke to an employee on the phone confining that my contract was cancelled, only to find out a few months later that there’s still a weekly fee taken out. I spoke to staff and apparently they can’t do anything about it because a contract is a contract. iGym are absolute snakes and couldn’t even offer any money back to me for the inconvenience, let alone offer me anything for taking over $1800 off me without my permission. Hope the joint burns to the ground

Negative experience: Cancelled my gym membership when i was still in the cooling off period about 1-2 months ago and last week abd this week they took money out of my account

Negative experience: Unexperienced and very rude staff. Left this place after been going there for over 2 years. Recent Management change over has effected gym loyal members. Specially new gym manager, she has absolutely no idea about the management. She like’s walking in gym that she owns the gym and stare at people.

Negative experience: The new manager is very rude, she doesn’t have any manners on how to run this place. She is going to run the brand name down to ground. All she want to do is shout at members and show she is the manager. I been going to this gym for over a year since it was the closest to my place… save your money people and find a better gym with respected staff.

Negative experience: I’ve been charged additional fees for no reason, if you call they don’t answer and if you leave a message they don’t call back. If a payment doesn’t go through they don’t tell you when they’re going to try again so it’s hard to make sure there is money in the account they take it from and the fees for a late payment are so high (even if you pay it the same day because you had money in the wrong account or got paid later than usual). I no longer live in the area but can’t cancel my membership without paying hundreds of dollars, which as a student I cannot afford.

Fantastic experience: Been coming to this gym for a couple years and never had any issues. Always smiling faces when you walk in the door and since Nita has taken over management, the good feelings in the gym have only lifted.

Fantastic experience: Excellent , Clean gym with super friendly staff that make you feel welcome everytime I step foot in here . Always happy to help with anything and has all the machines you can ask for. Also a shout out to Bek for running an awesome spin class that leaves you feeling pumped !!!! Would recommend this gym to anybody out there

Negative experience: I have left multiple messages and texts to try and cancel my membership as I am no longer live in the area, or am under Contract. I have been charged for weeks and am yet to receive a reply. Extremely Unprofessional.

Negative experience: Don’t sign up with this gym, I cancelled my membership in May 21 and they are still taking payments after I’ve signed a cancelation form and emailed, called multiple times advising them to stop.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym! Have been going there for over 2 years now. A range of classes available and plenty of equipment so you're never waiting for a machine or weights to become available. Very convenient being 24/7.

Negative experience: DO NOT JOIN Igym. They have no understanding how to deal with customers nor know how to respond to calls. The gym has very old equipment and they will continue to charge you money every week even though you ended the contract weeks ago. Return my money Igym before I have to start paying visits every single day.

Negative experience: The manager and staff are incompetent, misplaced a cancellation form so we are out of pocket $300 (7months) the company offered after 3 weeks of contact with them trying to sort it out whilst they were still taking money 1 months reimbursement absolutely pathetic. Their excuse is none of the staff are employed here anymore to verify. Obviously the staff were fired for being so incompetent there is your proof. Ihad been in there with my daughter the girl on reception told me to put her in the play area and she would watch her while I toured the gym, she then turned her back on the kids already in the play area under her care and spoke to her friend whilst a toddler ran into the open gym space very unsafe.

Negative experience: Inexperienced, unprofessional, lack of education and rude staffs. Not a place for Advanced athletes and lifters. It's only for beginners and first time wanna be lifters. I will not be recommending this horrible place to anyone. Manager(s) has no idea how to run the place. They have no people skills. The rest of the reviews all have the same complaints. Don't waste your time. There are other gyms in the area that are cheaper and very professional. Staffs are out of shape can't be good image for the business. Practice what you preach IGym.

Negative experience: This gym Igym Carrum Downs) has got the most inexperienced managers ever, weather you believe it or not . They are new in this industry and fitness and find it intimidating if you are an advanced trainers bodybuilder .I was asked by unprofessional emanagers to leave the gym because I was so focused, sweating blood, training hard and obviously way ahead of them in form and shape It was such a shock for me that I had to cancel my membership. The excuse was I was intimidating!!! I don’t understand what’s the purpose of the gym if you can’t go there and train hard ! I found it very offensive that these two came in the middle of my training to ask me to leave . If you are a hard core athlete don’t join this beginners gym .

Negative experience: horrible rude receptionist . went to look and possibly sign up but after waiting 20 min for the receptionist to get off her mobile phone all i got was a flawed contract and an argument which resulted in me cancelling the sign up and leaving

Negative experience: Terrible experience. Gym staff very unprofessional and make fun of members amongst each other . So i cancelled my membership . just got a letter today from a collection company advising me they will be taking me to court to collect 300 dollars. Obviously someone in the office didn't file some paperwork

Positive experience: One of the better gyms in the Frankston area. Plenty of equipment and space. The only downside is member quality gradually getting worse. Machine left loaded with plates. Kitchen area dirty. Equipment left laying around. Machines not wiped down. If members were held to a higher standard by staff the gym would get a higher rating

Negative experience: Front stafff is very rude they don’t respect new members treat very bad not joined because of front staff lady need to learn some customer service skills

Negative experience: If you like having cellphone signal or wifi while at the gym then don’t come here. No signal and wifi fails to connect 90% of the time. Staff just said its because there are too many people connected. Great variety of weight training equipment but the treadmills and spinning equipment is very poor quality. To me the wifi failure is a deal breaker. If this isn’t fixed soon I’ll be forced to cancel my membership.

Fantastic experience: iGym 247 in Carrum Downs is a good place to go. My evaluation with Simon, one of the PT's, was fun and I felt confident with following his instructions. They have great equipment and people and are really good value for your money . No lock-in contracts or any of that nonsense so don't hesitate to go check them out. If you do just tell them Kaspar sent you ;-)

Fantastic experience: The facilities are excellent and very well kept. The staff are awesome. The owner is a beast who knows his stuff and will bend over backwards to help you out if you need it. Best gym I’ve been to and I’ve been to a few. Go check it out.
