The staff are lovely and when I signed up they were thorough with explaining my options and the benefits of joining the gym. I have been to a few gyms and anytime fitness in Manunda is by far the best. Thank you to the staff for making it an enjoyable experience!

This would increase member satisfaction and improve the overall experience at the gym.You are not allowed to bring your personal trainer, but the personal trainer there does not communicate with the member If you want one. Positive experience: Decent gym but recently removed the boxing room to put treadmills there and where the treadmills originally were is now a useless area with not much equipment to train with. Very unnecessary change

Negative experience: I tired of being harassed by this mob. I cancelled my contract in person and paid everything I owed over 4 years ago. Now ya saying I still owe you for a contract that I cancelled in person. As well as ya stupid cancellation fee AGAIN. You con people into believing that all they pay is a fee to join and the weekly fee. The first and only time I used your gym I was charged 2 amounts of about $7.50 each. You also con people that are talking over other accounts that that only have a set amount left on a lock in contract. That all they have to stay and pay is the time left owing on the contract. Your dishonest frauds. And I strongly warn against using this company as they are dishonest and WILL rip you off.

Negative experience: Nice gym. Basic facility’s other than no actual stand bench press “have to use a squat rack”. No studios for fitness classes. No proper changing rooms, just individual bathrooms. The smell is awful, must be the worst gym I have been in, in terms of smell.

Negative experience: I’ve travelled to heaps of AF along the east coast of Australia and this one smelled like vomit but did have a heap of equipment but the other AF in cairns did have less equipment but you didn’t feel like throwing up half way through your workout.

Fantastic experience: Very clean gym, I had a roaring time!!! Staff are approachable, helpful and always smiling There is ample space for my long tail to work out and different machines to work out my strong legs and weak arms

Positive experience: The gym is great. Plenty of space and all equipment I need. The only thing is a smell of vomit seems to be coming out of the aircon. Eventually got used to it but worried it might be like the smell in the car from Seinfeld and the smell has stayed on my clothes.

Positive experience: This gym is extremely spacious with a good variety of weight machines. All these equipment are pretty old but to be fair still functional. One thing is difficult to describe. The smell…seriously, what is that? Hahahaha I read a lot of review point it out and it’s real…pungent and acrid. But nobody really care. So yeah, come and experience it hahaha

Negative experience: Gym is good but do not sign up for their direct debit system! They will continue to charge your account even after your membership period has ended. For months! Has happened to me and a friend and is just a bloody nightmare. Extremely disappointing!

Positive experience: Hadn't been for awhile. Not changed, still all nice and bright from all the windows giving outside views.

Negative experience: Staff member was very passive aggressive when I outlined my membership was on hold that other staff members told me I would be contacted prior to re-establishing my membership. She told me that all previous staff are gone was not helpful at all. Very bad communication and rude. Would not recommend and will be cancelling my membership for good.

Positive experience: Great selection of equipment, friendly clientele but smelly as hell. I couldn't finish work out because the smell just became too much. The air-conditioning may need a clean......??

Negative experience: The worst gym I've ever been to! The equipment is either old as hell, second hand or broken. No in-between. There is dust covering all the equipment proving that it's never cleaned and the entire gym smells like BO. They have also lied about when I quit the gym and tried to continue taking my money - that's stealing! Save yourself the time and stress and go to a different gym and send everything in email so they can't say "they don't have any proof of a face to face conversation".

Positive experience: Disappointing to see 3 members not using towels (didn’t have one at all) on equipment, especially in today’s climate. After repeated complaints to staff about the disgusting unhygienic toilets/showers, still nothing has been done. A song came on which contained the F word over & over (to many times to count).

Fantastic experience: I joined an Anytime gym down south 5 years ago because of the $1 snickers. I moved and started at the Cairns gym but alas no $1 snickers. However it's a great atmosphere, lots of room and space in the vending machine for the snickers, even mars bars. Daniel.

Negative experience: In the defence force we have to go on trips sometimes with little notice. A notice was given to manunda anytime fitness that, being abroad would mean I can’t attend. 6 months abroad would mean I can’t pop in. Didn’t cancel and now they’re sending debt collectors. It’s not going to be paid and trading standards will be called upon shortly.

Positive experience: Great place to start achieving your fitness goals, with loads of equipment an friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming for years, I feel so comfortable when I walk into the gym. It has the all the equipment you need and there’s sections away from the big equipment if you want to do a little workout there. They also run free classes and the staff are really friendly! :)

Fantastic experience: One of the very best Anytime Fitness Centre’s! I love this Gym. It’s so spacious, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. They make me feel a part of the community there and are always projecting positive vibes. The equipment is awesome and the big fans are great to cool down in front of. Love that they have hair dryers there, so I can have a shower and get to work or my appointments straight after. The classes they run are great also. Highly recommend

Negative experience: The smell makes me sick! I’m here the first time and entering the door a sour smell hit my nose. The trainer just said that they might need to refill the air freshener. In my opinion this can’t solve the problem. I won’t come back!

Negative experience: Go in the other day to cancel my membership and found out that my 1 year membership is a 18 month membership, and not only did I pay $160 just to get into the bloody gym it's going to cost an extra $400 just to cancel my membership. If you are a person who moves around and likes a change of seen don't sign up here. All they care about is your money and don't tell you about all the little secret payments you have to do to get out of it. The manager of the gym helped me sign up and left out all this information it's ridiculous. Don't sign up here, most definitely the worst decision I've made. If I knew all this I would of never signed up.

Positive experience: Massive compared to some of the other anytime - has all i need

Negative experience: They will do everything it takes to convince you to join with a free trial and attractive prices just to lock you up with a membership for 12 months. After approximately 1 month I found out that the gym I had joined (Raintree Shopping Centre) was closing and relocating somewhere else - too far for me. They just never mentioned it when I signed up for a membership. The new gym also didn't have (at the time) a room with video training, which was the main reason for me to join in the first place. Besides the badge was supposed to be a "deposit" ($69) but again, they "forgot" to mention that after the 1st month trial, it was no longer refundable... Extremely disappointing and such a loss of money. My advice: go somewhere else!

Fantastic experience: The best place to work out. It's becoming my Second home.

Positive experience: Its bigger than most Anytime Gyms but my god the smell was awful. Smells so bad like it hasn't been cleaned for years from all the sweat. As soon as you enter the place it hits you and I find it hard to train. Please fix this as soon as possible otherwise I'll go to another gym.

Positive experience: This is the biggest and the best Anytime in cairns, has every machine and machines to spare, lots of room and variety.

Positive experience: Nice gym. Everything you need to do a full workout. Would have given an Easy five stars, but they didn't supply chalk at the deadlift station which I believe should be a complimentary standard nowadays.

Negative experience: Was a terrific gym when I was going, awesome but tried to cancel membership for 2 reasons: 1st for leaving area and 2nd for being unwell with terrible sore feet and hands from moderate to severe psoriasis plus other medical reasons too. Spoke to a Katie and she kept coming up with excuse after excuse, it was awful and extremely humiliating, I went home and bawled as I'm not a confrontational person. I didn't even get a chance to fix up my bill that I owe!
