Negative experience: This gym fails spectacularly in almost every aspect. Cleanliness is appalling. The gym is perpetually filthy. The floors are often covered in used wet wipes, and the bathroom soap is rarely filled up. It’s evident that hygiene is not a priority here, which is incredibly concerning for any gym. Equipment maintenance is non-existent. I’ve encountered numerous machines that are either broken or malfunctioning. It’s clear that the gym does not invest in proper upkeep or repairs. This not only disrupts workouts but poses a safety risk to members. The staff rarely engage and always stay in the office. Never have I seen them come out to clean the place up at all. The combination of poor cleanliness, inadequate maintenance, unengaging staff, makes it a gym to reconsider. Save your money and find a gym that actually values its members and maintains a standard of quality.
Positive experience: small, old equipment, squeaky equipment. But best water
Negative experience: This gym is unclean and hardly anyone uses towels. Full of school kids so you can’t use machines you want. Non existent unfriendly staff. Wet wipes are left on the floor and no toilet paper in dirty bathrooms. And they charge you more than any other plus gym in the area!

Fantastic experience: I've been recently joined Plus Fitness and it's fantastic. Plenty of equipment means I never wait for a workout, and the cleanliness, especially in the bathrooms, is top-notch. What I really appreciate is the friendly vibe; it's welcoming and encouraging. The little touches, like free deodorant, showing they care about our comfort and hygiene. It's not just a gym but a community where I feel supported and motivated. Plus Fitness has truly enhanced my fitness journey and daily routine. Plus it is very close to the epping station which is pretty convenience.

Negative experience: Tiny gym and less equipments. Visited around 06:30pm on a weekday and all the equipments are occupied
Negative experience: The staff are cooperative and try to keep the gym clean. But management seems too greedy. Charging $20 pw for gym with all old & tired equipment is ridiculous. Doesn't even have a single upright bench! Pay few $ more & join Fitness First with much better facilities, equipment, classes, etc.

Positive experience: It's okay. There's a good amount of space, and its usually not too packed. The flooring is a bit uneven which means the racks are also slanted and the smith machine rattles like a train.

Positive experience: Came back after 2 years away, the layout changed for the better but is still a relatively small gym with limited and aging strength training equipment.
Negative experience: Force you to physically come in to cancel. Very outdated especially with COVID situation. In 15 years of going to the gym it has: -the filthiest toilets I’ve ever seen -filthiest odours from other members -often wet wipes left all over the floor. Gross. If you can travel to Carlingford it is much better and cleaner but this one is sub-optimal.

Negative experience: They act like a thief. They always over charge me and they say excuse and it takes ages to get your money back. You can pay somewhere else (other branches) cheaper and then use their gym.
Negative experience: I am very disappointed as they have acted very unprofessional. They have started deducting money from my bank account without asking any confirmation if we are going to use the gym or if we able to use the gym due to the high rate of cases and health issue concerns. I understand that in our contract it says that there will be an automatic deduction to maintain our membership, but that definitely is for the normal situation and not in a global pandemic and having people getting the virus and having serious issues. I had called them to cancel our membership but they mentioned that I have to do it in person!!!! Do you even consider that these days people may not want to come into such places? Even when I managed to go there to submit and sign the papers for my membership cancellation and describing the situation, they refused to cancel it immediately and again they mentioned that due to your contract there will be at least a two-week window and you will be charge during these two weeks!!!! We have thousands of cases and dozens of deaths outside every day. People may have serious concerns to go to gyms for any health reason and then you reluctantly decide to take money from them?
Negative experience: I am very dissatisfied with the way they treat their customers. We had become member with them before the recent lockdown and used the gym for around one month and then the lockdown came. The main problem I have with them is after they re-opened (after 5-6 months) They have started deducting money from our bank accounts without sending any confirmation if we are going to use the gym. I understand that in our contract it says that there will be an automatic deduction to maintain our membership, but that definitely is for the normal situation and not in a global pandemic even if the government has let them to be open. We had called them to cancel our membership but they mentioned that we have to go there and sign a paper!!!! People may not be comfortable to come into such indoor premises especially if they have any health issues an more reasonably when people there are not wearing mask (even if they have to!!!!). Even when I managed to go there to submit and sign papers for my membership cancellation describing my situation, they refused to cancel it immediately and again they mentioned that due to your contract there will be at least a two week window and you will be charge during these two weeks!!!! We had thousands of cases and dozens of deaths outside. People be hesitant to go to gyms for any health reason and there you sitting ripping their pockets and denying to cancel their membership even on the phone? Very unprofessional and cheap, I am so sorry for you guys.

To compensate for the change we did reduce your start-up costs and added a further 2 week free period on top of the offer available at the time. You did request to cancel your membership within your cooling off period which we assisted you with straight away and refunded all payments you had made immediately. Positive experience: Not for pros. There is only one bench press, always occupied. Not enough inclined benches. Can't find a proper spot for the deadlift. Garbage arm pad for curl. And no actual usable personal trainer available. Other than these, the staff are super friendly. The gym is always clean and tidy.

Friendly staff, free weights room is cramped, lots of equipment needs to be tightened with an Allen key, quite a few things I used were loose to the point of coming apart. The squat rack near the cafe is the worst I’ve used (too cramped) but the equipment towards the back of the gym was always occupied. Dunno about this gym...

Negative experience: If you're a tradie that wants to use the toilet this place is perfect but if you're a member you will be largely ignored.
I'm saddened to hear you feel this way after being a member for over 3 years. I have spoken to staff to see what has occurred. I understand their was an altercation with the tradesmen who are using our bathroom facilities while work is being done on the building. They are not working for us, but our landlord, on behalf of the other tenant of the building, asked if they could use the bathrooms while work is being done. Hi Darshana, I'm sad you feel that way. There is from time to time, as at all gyms, equipment that is in need of repair. As soon as we see this is the case we log it with the service crew and we aim to have things fixed as soon as possible. The club does have peak times that are busy, but being a 24/7 clubs there are also times throughout the day when the club is free. As for the trainers, if you have any specific issues I would be happy to discuss them with you, customer service is high on our priority list and if their is some thing we need to improve I am definitely keen to know about it. Negative experience: Second time the gym is inaccessible, this is meant to be a 24/7 gym... no notice nothing... The gym also has the worst equipment I’ve ever seen, please invest in newer benches and machines that actually work, I feel like I’m going to get hurt using equipment such as the cable machine. Also very crowded and the televisions are all set on mainstream pop and advertisement.
Hi Good Deer, apparently there was a blackout in the area this morning which would have caused an issue with access. As blackouts are out of our control we were not able to inform you of this. The TVs are on the foxtel music channels, we try to keep in mainstream to cater for as many people tastes as we can. The benches and some of the equipment have been freshened up over the past month and the equipment is regularly serviced by our maintenance crew. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by the blackout.

Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your time at the club, we are Staffed 8:30am to 12:30pm Monday to Friday, 3:30pm to 7:30pm Monday to Thursday and Saturday mornings 8am to 12noon. Best of luck with your future training.

Negative experience: Starting off with good: 1. Convenient location 2. Tidy But the gym needs to start spending some money on equipments. They need to start off with getting a better squat rack. Not sure why you would want to have a squat rack that moves easily and has a floor that is elevated ridiculously? And maybe get a better leg press too. I thought Gordon plus fitness was eh-ish after moving from the university gym but the equipment here is worse. Have a look at what kind of squat rack gordom plusfitness invested on and consider replacing these racks you guys have to that. Need to get more incline-able bench. Fan doesn't seen to rotate. Need to fix this for sure. Need some mirror on the wall for people who squat or deadlift to check their form sometimes. Mirror is blocked by way too many things or not in place that is required. Not sure why you guys have so many TV on wall for cardio but we can't adjust channel or volume or what so ever? Please let me know what you guys use it for because i really don't want to watch music video during my cardio. In all honesty, if anytime epping was closer, would go there. But if you guys get better equipment might change my mind.

Positive experience: Very nice and tidy gym. However is quite small, limited equipment. Staff are friendly and nice, layout is neat and organised. Bathrooms are a bit small but clean tidy and we'll maintained. I like how they included a shower curtain so the water doesn't splash everywhere.

Negative experience: Worst customer service. Too much pain while you cancel the account. Worst policy of visiting the center to cancel even if you are overseas and they will continue to charge you. I paid them for 8 months without using the services despite sending multiple cancellation emails --- their policy says come and visit the center to cancel - INSANE! And now, they are arguing to get the final overdue interest. Now, what they will do is - try to put the blame back on the customer. To be honest, I don't have any time left for that...Plus Fitness Epping is ok until you don't require any customer service...or wait for the nightmare.

Hi Himanshu, thanks for your feedback. The equipment in the gym is chosen by Head Office to ensure members are able to get a full body work out. It is very similar at all Plus Fitness clubs. If you have any specific piece of equipment you are missing, please fell free to speak to us at the club.
Negative experience: I unsubscribed as it was really hot inside the gym. You could start sweating as soon as you dropped in, even in winter. They've air-con but it seems they want to save money on the electricity bills. Also, you had usually broken machines.
Hi Edward, you don't appear to be one of our members. However, the air conditioners are on sensors, and if at any time it is to hot in the club there is a sign on the office wall as well as a button that turns on all the air conditioners in the club. There are also numerous industrial fans in the club which some members turn on and others turn off, its difficult to please everyone. Our equipment maintenance is a high priority and hence is serviced regularly by the same organisation that work with our major competitors. As they've explained to us, the majority of breakdowns are down to mis-use of the equipment. We attend to these breakdowns immediately.
Fantastic experience: I love training at Plus fitness Epping. The staff are super friendly and helpful and answered all the questions I had when I first began training. They're also very understanding about my medical condition and we're happy to put my account on hold while I dealt with it. This has happened multiple times and there have been 0 complaints from any of the staff anytime I needed it. I look forward to coming to the gym everyday
