Negative experience: the worst gym i’ve been to they never have cleaners in when by standards they should have a cleaner in atleast once a day , no med equipment unhelpful owner who over charges and never actually responds to feed back bare minimum equipment, no boxing equipment no calisthenics stuff just the bare basics and so unhygienic

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Anytime Fitness Kingsgrove for 6 months now… the gym is clean and the members are kind and respectful. Everyday I am greeted at the door with a smile and a wave by Toni. She effortlessly connected with the gym community and is always able to motivate me even on the days I don’t feel like exercising. If you’re looking for the right gym for you I can wholeheartedly recommend Anytime Fitness Kingsgrove.

Negative experience: I’ve been a long-time member of this gym, and the recent change in ownership brought some great renovations and new equipment, which I appreciate. However, I was taken aback by a significant increase in my membership fees. Previously, I was paying $14.95 per week, a couple of years later i became a Dad and did not frequent the gym but kept the membership out of convenience. Later, I noticed on bank transactions that my AF membership jumped to $24.95 per week—a staggering 67% increase! When I reached out for clarification, I was informed that this was due to rising costs of goods and services and a need to implement a minimum membership rate for fairness. I was offered a slightly discounted rate afterward $21.95 per week, (but that is still a 47% increase for a member who doesn't even come to your gym) While I understand the impact of inflation and rising costs, the way this change was handled i.e .—changing ownership, renovating the facilities, and then increasing all members’ fees without prior notice—was poorly handled. I've been with AF on and off since the 2008, and while I’ve experienced gym fee increases before, none have been this steep or implemented so abruptly. As a result, I decided to switch to a different gym entirely, I hope AF Kingsgrove, other AF locations and Head Office take this feedback on board..

He is one of the rare trainers who will completely adjust and tailor his program to your lifestyle. James is flexible and a great motivator to help you smash your goals. Toni is a welcoming smiling face you see around the gym. Toni is efficient at sorting out any queries you may have. Toni and Jane make going to the gym that little bit easier!

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness Kingsgrove has great equipment and facilities, but I particularly want to show my praise for the club manager, Toni. Toni has a way of creating a very warm and welcoming atmosphere every time I walk into the gym, which I am truly grateful for. The level of engagement and support Toni shows to myself and other gym users is incredible. I want to make special mention of a heroic act from Toni that took place just a few days ago. I live just a few houses over from the gym on the top floor unit of a two storey building. I was at home when I suddenly smelt a lot of smoke. I was unaware what was producing the smoke so I went downstairs to investigate. By the time I realised that it was the downstairs neighbours who left a candle on, a significant portion of their unit was on fire, which effectively trapped my two golden retriever puppies (Sadie and Coco) upstairs in my unit. I attempted to battle the smoke and flames but I passed out from the fumes before being able to reach the staircase. Toni began to smell smoke from the gym, dropped everything and ran to assist me. After running into the downstairs unit and moving my unconscious body to safety, she battled through smoke, flames and rubble, got upstairs and was able to rescue Sadie and Coco and bring them to safety. It was a horrifying day that would have been so much worse if Toni hadn’t been there to the rescue. I was obviously still traumatised from the event, and some repair work needed to be done in my unit, so yesterday Toni was kind enough to volunteer her time to come over and inspect the plumbing pipelines, locating exactly where a perforation occurred as a result of the fire. Using an extension of PEX pipe from her toolbox, she was able to effectively replace the damaged pipe with the new PEX pipe. After this she re-connected my washing machine to the pipeline making it once again, fully operational. I am forever grateful for Toni’s continuing support, she is very approachable so be sure to ask her if you have any questions relating to the gym, the equipment or any plumbing needs you may have.

Negative experience: Locked into contract $30 dollars for 3yrs and now it has increased to $50 still a year to go on contract which I can no longer afford.staff never replied to my emails and have forwarded bill to collection agency.

Negative experience: If you want to join this gym, be aware of dodgy staff. My younger brother joined this gym while under the age of 18, and the employee that assisted did not mention he would need to have a guardian present, which rendered his contract void. When I confronted the staff about this, I was told that AnyTime would have "called his legal guardian" which never happened, and regardless, it is not enough, as it requires a signature. They also lied about his age on the agreement, to make him appear that was over the age of 18. No identification was asked for by staff. For those wondering why this matters, my brother was unaware it was a lock-in contract and was even told by staff that he can "leave any time he wants". Super dodgy behaviour from Anytime.

Fantastic experience: Haven’t stepped foot in anytime kingsgrove in about close to 6 years and have got to say this is one of the cleanest clubs and the fresh renovation is amazing. All the equipment you need and the members are amazing. The new club owners did an amazing job with the place which is why I had to try it out for myself.

Positive experience: Good gym and compares well with other Anytime Fitness locations. It is not the largest gym, but it has all the equipment and it is clean and in very good condition. It's not as busy as some other gyms either, so less time wasted waiting for equipment.
