Positive experience: Yeah it’s ok, does the job. but could lower the prices or add more machines because it gets veryyyy busy and crowded at certain times(6-10am and 3-9pm) everyday. Always having to wait for machines. Could do with adding a sauna/steam room. And some of the machines always break and stay broken for a few weeks before they fix it. The music they play on the tvs could be better. And not all of the showers hot water works. They should make price cheaper for under 18s, since they cannot use it 24/7, unlike other nearby gyms. However, it does the job and they have a good range of different machines and the staff and gym goers are pretty friendly.

Positive experience: The gym itself is spacious and clean. Lots of room to work out and doesn’t feel cramped. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The equipment in the gym is quite old and could use with an upgrade! That would make it a 10/10 experience

Fantastic experience: The Morningside club is fantastic! Clean facility, great layout, and a great variety of classes. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help. Fantastic experience: Well I've been to plenty of gyms but goodlife morningside make you feel like family not just a number and I choose this gym cause it's very convenient for me while I wait for my Mrs to finish work as she just at goodstart just behind the gym ️♂️ ☺️

Negative experience: Very disappointing, machines are broken for weeks. All equipment are old, "like they are asking you please dont use me for my safety". peak time, you have to wait for the weights or go home.

Negative experience: Rude and very unhelpful staff. Trish, the manager is unreasonable and rude and appears to read off a script with every sentence. Mitch, the general worker was also very unhelpful and took him several days to refer my complaint to management.

Positive experience: A bit more old school some of the equipment, compared to wynnum west - and in this case that means better quality equipment. Also more variety of equipment. Lacking sauna or steam room though

Negative experience: I tried to unsuccessfully cancel my membership in 2022 and was told by reception that I was in a lock in contract (which I was not) so they couldn't do it, but the cancellation would happen as soon as the contract come to an end. Of course, it didn't happen and I kept on getting my account debited every week without even going to the gym as I moved to a different city. The club only contacted me 3 months later as they could no longer debit my account as my card expired. I mentioned my attempt of cancellation months prior but nothing was done. They escalated me to debt collectors and now nearly two years after my first attempt of cancellation, I realised the club has been debting my account weekly for the past three months (without my authorisation). I got in touch with the club and got told the manager would be in touch with me and of course it still hasn't happened. It's a very good gym and I enjoyed my time there, but their customer service is absolutely disgraceful!
Negative experience: The heat is just terrible. Aircon doesn't work either upstairs nor downstairs
Negative experience: Long time member of the gym. Utterly disappointed. The most infuriating aspect is their abysmal customer service, particularly regarding membership cancellations. Despite my attempts since November to terminate my membership, they've put up unnecessary hurdles, leaving me still paying for a service I can no longer utilize. Upstairs is pretty dismal, with only two bench presses and a fair bit of equipment that’s falling apart. The absence of an outdoor area for workouts limits options and fresh air intake. Save yourself the headache and money, avoid this gym at all costs.

Negative experience: New customer here.. price is okay, facilities kind of old and it was the worst experience when it comes to anything to do with finance such as changing payment method, frequency or even asking for a refund. All of these you have to follow up yourself as the Goodlife team can’t even call the finance department to speed this up for you. So if you have any dispute or need a refund, you are required to wait for a month or so. So kind note: do not sign up for anything if you are unsure. Only pay when you need the service especially for goodlife.
Negative experience: very poor equipment, there is always something broken, for how many people that are joined up to goodlife you would expect the equipment to be working or maybe just upgrade alot of them.
Positive experience: I have just renewed for another 12 mths so obviously it's okay. There are plenty of cardio machines and the staff are friendly. The classes, iinstructors and trainers are excellent. The outside area gives much needed extra space for weights, stretching/cool down and abs but is not open until 7am so it gets quite congested in morning peak hour. The women's change rooms are frankly completely sub par for the number of members with only two toilets. The only change area is in front of the lockers so you constantly have to keep moving when you're half dressed to let people in. Zero privacy. No staff member ever asked anyone to wipe down machines or not hold up a machine cause they are busy on their socials. So, foul, sweaty machines and waiting for ages while someone finishes perusing their instagram happens. . But that's not unique to Goodlife, I guess. All in all, not the best gym I've been a member of but there's a good mix of ages and options and I haven't witnessed any agro.
Positive experience: Needs new locker, too easy to break into. Again the gym equipment is not the best. The overall quality of Good Life has dropped dramatically. Snap seems to have better equipment at almost every location I walk past.
Negative experience: Great facilities but absolutely horrible service. Joined on a great rate membership only to find the membership cancelled the next day and put on a more expensive membership with the explanation of "There was a miscommunication within the club" Not only did they not own their mistake, they also double charged their $99 joining fee (as my membership got changed) and it has now been two weeks with no refund. But hey, they never forget to charge you the weekly payment. I wonder if the service is this bad in every gym or are we just really lucky here at Morningside
Fantastic experience: Have been a member for >10 yrs , love the instructors , classes and PT, have seen a few improvements over the years. Now they even have reform Pilate. Have attended a few classes, instructors are marvellous.
Positive experience: Definitely targeting casual fitness, very bright inside and not the most up to date machines. Expensive for a single visit ($20)
Fantastic experience: By comparison to a lot of other gyms in the area around Brisbane, this one has all the goodies at a reasonable price. Equipment is very good and there is always available machines in the various equipment areas. I signed up primarily for the menu range of classes available. I love the classes. 24 hours is useful if you want to access gym at uncivilised times as I do from time to time I’m very happy that I joined 6 months ago and that I can access other good life gyms with he platinum membership. Very handy if you’re wanting to slip in a class or a sneaky gym workout, outside of your town suburb or neighbourhood area. Most classes you don’t need to book, ( Morningside) which I love that I can last minute decide and go. Reformer Pilates classes at other branches of GL, yes you do. Each of the Instructors that have led the classes have all been fabulous. My partner, friend and daughter have joined also so that makes it fun and motivating to attend. The first gym I have joined for over 20 years so it’s nice to feel back in it, again.

Negative experience: Be mindful when you join the membership with good life morningside, It is very frustrated when you decide to cancel the membership, I was joining good life morningside a year ago with a new member PT session, due to the situation changed, I was not able to go to the gym so often, so I decided to cancel the membership, the staff initially said I can freeze the membership for 6 months and reduce the membership fee and finally I only have 4 weeks freeze period for free and reduced the fee, so I decided to still cancel the member after the freeze period, the only request I have is REFUND the unused PT session which the staff said I can refund and they will get the PT manager to contact me, because of I am going to overseas in this week, I am URGENTLY need that sort out( I did mention it to the staff) I have been waiting for more than a week and no one contact me at all not even an email regarding to this, I made the phone call 2-3 times in between and still waiting, very disappointed with the services.
Negative experience: My husband and I are both morningside gym members for a year and half. after our 12 months contract and prior to it ending (since we had moved out of area), I spoke to the Goodlife reception and requested to cancel our request. They didnt want to let us go so eccouraged us to stay and offered to make our membership weekly and premium for the same amount of teh contract. I specifically asked a couple of times to confirm teh cancellation terms as I wanted to make sure we can cancel easily if the commute gets difficult and they assured me a few time on teh reception or via phone that the cancellation is weekly and will require 2-3 days notice. After a couple of weeks I noticed there is an additional charge of 10$ on my account, I queried what is that for, and they said we made you premium but since you payment is less than a premium charge we have to charge you an additional 10$ per month! now I have asked to cancel my membership and I was told I need to give 30 days noticed and they keep refering to the 12 month contract terms and condition. However we specefically discussed thsi with them that we dont want committment and will only continue our membership if cancellation is on a weekly basis. The Sale Manager is telling me their staff that have spoken with me (gave me flase information) were contractor and have lef Goodlife! seriously this is how they take accountability for their committements and promises. I am super disappointed with Goodlife. be careful with verbal promises they make.

Negative experience: Not my favourite gym. Equipment is old, it often gets over crowded and that doesn't take a lot. Had several issues with payment, which to the staffs credit so far have all been resolved, but it shouldn't be an issue to begin with. There are far better gyms within the same price range.

Fantastic experience: I recently goodlife joined after getting sick of pricing and bad service at a competitor, and have been very pleased. The facility at Morningside is great, endless cardio machines and lots of free space including a nice outdoor area. Pricing is great value for a pool and classes being included, but only if you lock in for a the 18 month contract. I was happy with this as it suits my needs but I understand some people are hesitant to be locked in. There is no bike rack but the staff are happy for me to lock my scooter at the front gate.
Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this as one of the best Goodlife gyms in Brisbane! A great range of equipment, great atmosphere and the staff are always great with a smile and a hullo. Shower/toilet facilities are clean. Child minding service is great. Car park is unlimited unlike other gyms that only allow for short term parking. Easy access to the gym and the classes are offered are great too. It’s the main gym where I have been going for many years. I pass two gyms to get there and my family and I love the place and I highly recommended it to all those who value their health and fitness.

Fantastic experience: Definitely one of the best Goodlife gyms in Brisbane! A wider range of equipments, great atmosphere and the staffs are welcoming. Shower/toilet facilities are clean. Child minding service is an added bonus and it offered 6 days a week including some afternoons which is appreciated as a parent of a young infant. Car park is unlimited unlike other gyms normally have 2 hours free parking limit. Easy access to the gym and many classes are offered too. It’s the main gym that my husband and I go and it’s highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: Not the most modern Goodlife but everyone is friendly. Lots of group fitness classes with changes communicated through Facebook. Equipment is well maintained. Staff always smile and say hello, some of the instructors even remember your name.
Fantastic experience: Hi Guys - Goodlife Health Clubs Morningside is AMAZING! YOU need to join! I have been attending this gym as a member for the last 7 years and can highly recommend our very skillful and professional team of PT and Group fitness instructors. We are completely blessed to be in the BEST hands of health care there is in our little community on this side of Brisbane. The facilities are well equipped, all the staff are SUPER friendly and it is basically like a little second home for a number of the members of this club. Pretty blessed with the BEST!
Fantastic experience: My experience at good life is going great, there is such a big variety of machines and weights that you will never get bored. If i had to recommend a gym to someone who is only just starting to use machines and weights I would definitely recommend Goodlife. The staff and personal trainers are very friendly too.

Positive experience: One of the better Goodlife gyms in Brisbane for sure, although small with some older equipment I rarely saw anything “out of order”. The outside area is fun although only open during staff hours along with the pool, which is understandable. Don’t expect any relaxation facilities here though, they’ve opted for an exorbitantly large classroom instead. Change rooms are always clean and designed pretty well. Being a smaller club you won’t find the huge crowds that mass at shopping centre and city locations so it’s great for anyone looking to avoid that atmosphere.

Negative experience: Please don't bother with Refer a Friend bonus. I am still waiting after 4 months. Friends have given up trying. Also big difference in staff behaviour between selling a Refer a Friend, and honouring the 2 weeks free - so I guess it's not Thier fault. But there's no actual way of chasing it up :(

Negative experience: Warning; you could be sold something you didn't ask for! After explaining in great detail what I needed ie a temporary membership 2-3 months for rehabilitation, I was asked to sign an unread document several pages long. Now, unable to continue due to the worsening injury and lack of guidance by the staff and surgery imminent, I needed to stopping using the gym. Explaining this in a polite way was to no avail. They still wanted an extra months payment with no service provided. BTW, Goodlife doesn't take your payment. Unknowingly you are signed up to a debt collection company, who obviously are not negotiable. To save yourself a bad experience, I recommend you look elsewhere.

Negative experience: Outdated or broken machines with troublesome trainers. They didn’t care about the trainer scamming me and wouldn’t let me cancel my membership. Suddenly when the trainer scammed them and they were taking them to court they called me multiple times and wanted my help. Steer clear from this gym.

Fantastic experience: The is a fabulous gym & I can’t recommend it highly enough! For a mum returning to the gym after 2 kids, this has been the perfect place to do it. Everyone is so friendly & welcoming. It has everything you need, great classes & lots of equipment. A special shout out to all the wonderful carers in the crèche who make leaving your baby for an hour class so easy to do. Especially Kristy the baby whisperer. And to Josh who made joining a breeze & got me excited to get back to the gym. The price of my membership was a lot cheaper than I found elsewhere.

Negative experience: I paid extra money to attend on a casual basis, with apparently “no join up fee” but there is no benefit to paying more to attend casually, because they recoup the “no join up fee” to put in place instead, a cancellation fee, and keep charging you, even if you advise them you don’t attend any more, putting Shareholder Profits before People. Go join FitStop Morningside, they are really humble, warm people, and there are no contracts.
Fantastic experience: Great selection of classes with friendly trainers.
Negative experience: The club staffed hrs are too short. There are still some classes going on after reception closes which prohibits casual entry to those classes. So the only option is to have the membership to use those late classes. I can only train late after 7pm because of my job and I can only go couple of times per month. Not worth taking membership for. Disappointed.
Negative experience: Good potential! Their treadmills and stationery bikes are Freddy Flindstone ancient and the dungeon lighting is awful but the staff are great and the classes are super!
Fantastic experience: Great gym plenty of gear, lots of room, awesome functional training are, pool and heaps of classes.
Fantastic experience: It is a perfectly clean place, quiet and relax except pick hours.
Positive experience: Definitely not my favourite goodlife gym just because of parking is a pain.
Negative experience: Place is crowded with old machines in poor repair. Goodlife don't run clean clubs, their aircons are always filthy, but this is another step down.
Negative experience: They only Want to sign you in for a contract straight away. Once you do it they forget all what they offer you.

Negative experience: Signed up to this gym initially and have since only ever used other gyms, the other gyms are fantastic and friendly but whenever I have an issue with my membership or need to speak with someone the staff at Morningside are so rude and unhelpful. I was supposed to have someone from customer service call me last week and a week on I am still waiting. They don’t treat you like a customer at all, speaking down to you and treating you like they are doing you a service.
Negative experience: Pushy staff. Signed up my partner against her better judgement using dubious pressure sales tactics. I took over the membership hoping to make some use of the place, but was never able to use the equipment when attending gym. Horrible loud music as with all McGyms. Final insult; we moved house to an area where goodlife is not accessible, and they still charged a 195 dollar exit fee. I have been with Anytime Fitness and Fitness First, and even they would waive such a fee if demonstrating that we are moving to an inaccessible area. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.
