Fantastic experience: The team at Bacchus Marsh are always so welcoming, the receptionist are always so kind and supportive, I feel taken care of whenever I’m in for my sessions. Since I started seeing Riya there, my shoulder and hip pain have lessened. She’s intuitive and passionate about her care for patients, always going that extra step to ensure that you’re getting the best results and focusing on improving your care rather than putting a bandaid on the injuries. Such a great atmosphere with people who show care and love for the work they provide.

Negative experience: in 2022- 2023 I was under the care of a physio for over 12 months. It did seem to help but never resolved itself. He told me in very complicated language that I had some serious "muscles problems" and although it was complex it would resolve. I took him at his word and continued under his care as he seemed like he knew what he was talking about. He did no further investigation My pain continued and he recommended additional appointments and also signed me up for palates, which he was sure would help resolve everything. My plan never changed even when I asked for it to be reviewed after awhile. Over the Xmas holidays I had hurt my back pretty bad and couldn't move. I called him and he came to my home (which cost me over $200) and all he did was just sat next to me on my bed and drew a diagram of my muscles and what I was doing or not doing to help myself . There was no exercise plan to help me just a lecture of not taking stronger pain meds which would "loosen my up" and move better. He blamed anxiety and a few other things that were unrelated. This is when I realised he had no idea what was wrong with me. A few days later the pain was so bad I had to call an ambulance and I was taken to hospital. After having a CT on my back which was discovered I had stage 4 cancer. I acknowledge that even if he had done the right thing and recommend that I have scans done the outcome wouldn't have changed BUT could have made a HUGE difference to my quality of life. Because I didnt know this was whats wrong and left without the proper treatment for so long the tumor ate away at my L1 in my spine and C5 in my neck. It not only caused me a life of going pain but also some mobility issues. I was left bed bound for over 6 months. I had to use a wheelchair to get around and then learn to walk again with a walker. It took a long time and a lot of pain. **** Since this review has been posted I have had ongoing chats with the practice manager and yet remains unresolved to this day. I have been told that they want to help me but I am still waiting**** The physio, and the practice manager were made aware of what's happened, and up until this day its been radio silence! They've never tried to reach out to me once . I don't know if they are afraid it may display some liability or not but there has been absolutely no compassion shown at all which would have be the right thing to do. This particular physio continued to work there without any consequence until he moved interstate 12 months later. I have never once asked for anything, although at the very least they should have offered to refund all the appointments and palates sessions I paid for!!! Shame on you for your lack of compassion and for not doing the right thing. Note: I have had no dealings with anyone who currently works there.

Positive experience: Thank you to Jay and the team for helping us to make it through the Great Aussie Hike in Daylesford 2-3 May 2025. Kenny and Riya enjoyed the knots in my calves far to much.

Fantastic experience: Yuko was very helpful and experienced in her approach and care of my injury I only needed to attend a few times as the program she provided was enough to resolve it

Fantastic experience: I would highly, highly recommend Back in Motion, particularly their women’s health physio Adeline. If you are pregnant or have had a baby, please do yourself a favour and go see her. It’s been very helpful for me and such an important part of my recovery. She’s also super friendly, informative and helps you actually understand your body.

Fantastic experience: Excellent support for a sciatic nerve issue. This was the first time I've ever had this. Provided 1st class service and helped me feel confident and comfortable about solving a very painful problem. My Physio, Shobha Rapi, provided experienced and thoughtful support throughout. Front counter staff always very professional. Would recommend Back in Motion to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I saw Adeline throughout my pregnancy to work on my pelvic floor and prepare my body for birth. Addy was very thorough in all her assessments and provided great education. She was kind, caring and compassionate and always followed up with me after appointments. I highly recommend her and can’t thank her enough!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended, took our 12 year old son who plays a tremendous amount of sport and was having issues with soreness in his legs. The team explained everything to him, not just to me which is great to see. We are now working with them to best manage his soreness and recovery.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been dealing with Type 2 accessory navicular bone for years which caused pain in my foot and ankle. After trying various treatments, my podiatrist recommended shockwave therapy and it has made a noticeable difference. Larry is so amazing he went above and beyond and found the best treatment option for my condition. I’m really impressed with how effective shockwave has helped for my condition and really thankful to Larry and the team in Back In Motion Bacchus Marsh ;)

Fantastic experience: My GP referred me to Adeline for physiotherapy due to the persistent pain in my coccyx area. I had a fall 12 months ago, and despite undergoing several CT scans, MRIs, and X-rays, no conclusive diagnosis has been found. Adeline conducted a thorough examination of the injured area and began my treatment. After a few sessions, I started feeling consistently better. Thanks to a professionally designed physiotherapy exercise program, I can now sit and watch TV for a few hours. My quality of life has greatly improved. I have complete trust in Adeline and her team, and I plan to continue using their services until I am fully recovered.

Fantastic experience: Went for a shoulder injury. Very thorough and helpful. Gave exercises to help recovery. Monitored progress and made sure I was 100% before advising no more appointments were needed.

Fantastic experience: Mitzi is an absolutely incredible myotherapist. Her understanding of the human body is remarkable and her treatment unmatched due to that excellence. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Negative experience: Unfriendly staff

Negative experience: I called and asked about my Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Program and was told there would be an out of pocket fee of about $8 to $9 so I made an appointment to see the podiatrist. Larry was great. I paid the amount they asked for but when I got my rebate I was stunned to see that I was out of pocket $30.70. When I called got told sorry and you should have never been told the out of pocket fee was what I got told. Thanks very much as I can only go by what was told to me. Warning make sure you get the correct information before booking anything from this place. Dissapointed and will not be returning

Fantastic experience: Being a property inspector, I have to constantly crawl under subfloors to check foundation & walk in roof spaces to check roof truss & suffered lower back pain as a result. Went to Back in Motion Bacchus Marsh & Shalin did a great job in resolving my back pain in just one day , helping me back in motion. Recommend anyone to use Back in Motion clinic BM

Positive experience: Very Friendly. Physio seemed knowledgeable. Probably only one tip. This was my first consultation whereby the first 20 minutes of assessment is free. But if I continued I would be charged a session. I did the whole session and not worried. But it would perhaps be good if after the 20 minutes the patient was told the free session is over and asked if they want to continue.

Negative experience: They charged me $90 for my initial consultation even though it states on their website that it’s free. Even on my invoice it says ‘free initial consultation $90’. I was devastated to find this out after I’d already had the appointment so I had no choice but to pay. Such dishonesty!

Fantastic experience: I am truly grateful to have found Back in motion. The help I have received from here has been amazing. Already after my first week I can see and feel a massive improvement in my knee. I am very impressed with their help, wisdom and knowledge. Highly recommend to anyone coming here for physio. Also very kind and caring staff who genuinely want to help you get better. Thank you guys for all you do.

Fantastic experience: I’d like to say thanks to all the staff at Bacchus Marsh Back in Motion. I’ve seen a couple of the Physio’s over the years and get great treatment from all ( especially Shalin). They have got me through surgery and now general soreness and ongoing maintenance. Thanks for the help.

Fantastic experience: I have been really enjoying clinical pilates and hydrotherapy with Pinakin, having someone who actually wants to fix your problem and knows you individually and where you are at makes a huge difference. Service at the clinic as a whole is fantastic also.
