Negative experience: The workers are really rude, they told me to leave even when I showed them my physical id, when I tried to leave she swore at me to her other friend like I couldn’t hear it.
Negative experience: Bought tickets at 5:45pm as the centre closes at 9pm, but staff did not inform us that the outdoor kids pool closes at 6pm. We came with 4 kids and 2 adults and only got about 15 minutes before the kids pool closed. The 1m pool was not suitable or safe for us to supervise all children. Had we known, we would not have purchased the tickets. Very disappointing experience.

Negative experience: I am writing to formally complain about a distressing and unacceptable incident I witnessed at Fairfield Leisure Centre while I was there with my friend and her children. During our visit, a staff member named John approached us and, from the moment he saw my friend and her children wearing scarves, his manner became hostile and dismissive. They were spoken to in a disrespectful way and treated differently from other customers. Without any reasonable explanation, we were told to leave the premises, even though no rules had been broken. My friend had paid for entry, yet she was refused a refund, and her children were left confused and upset by how they were spoken to and removed. I found the way this situation was handled to be unprofessional, unfair, and discriminatory. It was painful to witness a family being treated in this way, especially in front of young children. I am asking Fairfield Leisure Centre to investigate this matter properly, including reviewing CCTV footage and staff conduct, and to ensure that no one else is subjected to this type of treatment in the future. This was a very upsetting experience, and it deserves to be taken seriously.
Negative experience: I am making a formal complaint about a deeply distressing and unacceptable incident that took place at Fairfield Leisure Centre while I was there with my friend and my children. We were wearing scarves, and because of this we were subjected to racially motivated treatment by a staff member named John. We were spoken to in a disrespectful and hostile manner, treated differently from other customers, and ultimately removed from the premises without any valid reason. Despite having paid for entry, we were refused a refund and forced to leave. My children were present and were left confused, upset, and humiliated by how we were treated. No family should ever be made to feel targeted, unsafe, or unwelcome because of how they look or what they wear. John’s behavior was unprofessional, discriminatory, and unacceptable. This incident caused us significant emotional distress and ruined what was meant to be a family outing. I am requesting that Fairfield Leisure Centre: • Formally investigate this incident • Review CCTV and staff conduct • Issue a full refund • Provide a written apology • Take appropriate action against the staff member involved Racial discrimination has no place in any public facility. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and resolved properly.
Negative experience: Pools are generally clean and well supervised, the change room was a bit of an experience with some weird characters.. The main issue is that to get in you have to hand over your drivers license with your name your license number your address your phone number and they would even take a picture of you!! I was stuck I was with four children… couldn’t just go home…I had to hand over all my details.. I am sure it will all appear on the dark web in no time… What a nonsense
Negative experience: Today, I felt racially profiled by a white Caucasian old lady that yelled at my younger brother and I. It was our Second day Buying a visitor pass to work out at the gym. We’ve paid Around $60 To work out Before the year ended. After we paid for our visitors pass, We received a barcode to enter the gym. Because we waited too long after being so patient, We held onto our receipts And just put one leg over the Gate to enter the gym. This old lady in particular yelled and screamed at us for doing that. The gym was Not monitored by anyone at the time so we thought we’d start our workout. This particular lady kept yelling at us and trying to embarrass us in front of the republic to justify Her unnecessary actions. I apologised To her In a polite manner. She then changed her demeanour and calm down, While trying to justify why she yelled in chased after us. My brother and I just wanted to complete our workout and leave as soon as we could. As we were making our way out, we saw the old lady, We wished her a happy New Year and she tried to make a joke out of it by Telling us to not Do what we did in front of the general public again. I understand that she was narcissistically Trying to justify her actions. But we felt Demonised in publicly embarrassed as she could’ve handled it in a more professional manner. We felt like we were living in slavery when she was yelling at us to degrade And make an example out of my brother and I. I wish Her well, But It Left a bad taste As my brother and I were looking to become members at this gym. I know that losing us as customers or potential members Isn’t a loss to their business, But we feel Racially profiled and bullied. It’s an uncomfortable feeling that no human being should feel.
Negative experience: Very bad experience. I was go in the baby Change room with my son a lady out there keep knocking the door. Says I need go to the reception ask the key and need license after that I can use ..,,,No one tell me anything ! didn’t see any paper or signal telling customers before use the change room ??? Other things if you walk out get something in the car when you back in you need pay enter fee again
Fantastic experience: The centre caters for all and has a great community feeling. I had booked PT sessions with Marvin with some injuries I have to get into a routine suitable for my goals. He's very knowledgeable and tweaked everything according to my abilities and got me out of my comfort zone. The app is a great reference he's left me with different workouts to toggle with which is super helpful. Professional and friendly I felt great after my workouts I'll be booking more to progress to the next stage in my goals. Thankyou Marvin!

Negative experience: Disappointing visit today. Came 10 minutes before 4pm and paid for a entry ticket to the pools just to be told the outdoor pool is closed when I was about to enter the water. Why was I not told when purchasing a ticket at the reception? Why did the ladies at the front not notify me that they were closing at 4pm?? I did manage to get a refund but the point is why was I not told the moment I asked for a entry ticket. Could've at least saved myself time. Disappointed. Receptionist needs to do a better job. They also mentioned they close pools an hour before only in the winter season. Its currently spring...
Negative experience: Visiting the pool with the kids & upon entry the staff were extremely rude from the moment we walked in. We took the kids out for school holidays and met by an abrupt Staff member by the name of Kim and her colleagues were also questioning us & displayed poor customer service. These people don’t understand how to interact with customers, a smile & friendly education on entry conditions is all we asked for. They also refused acceptance of our concession card because we do not live with Fairfield LGA which is disgraceful.
Positive experience: The facility is generally very clean and well organised. The staff are friendly, and everything is managed nicely. The only issue is that some people come out of the shower or change rooms without proper clothing, even though there are children around. It would be great if the management could remind visitors to respect public decency and maintain proper etiquette.

Negative experience: You need to make sure children are safe in bathrooms and seperate showers from toilets as my child today saw a naked man in the shower when going to the toilets.
Negative experience: After we managed to get in, they wanted ID and phone numbers just to access, the showers were awful, cold, low pressure and the sensor system meant water was entirely random. No mirrors, floors dirty. Not a nice experience at all
Negative experience: Terrible communication with staff when it comes to booking an appointment. I booked at 5:30 for my appointment and was sent the time as well on their app but when I came in they said it was at 5:00. Their app then deleted the appointment time so the staff I talk to have no clue what’s going on. And I’m pretty sure this happened before as well. Last time I thought it just slipped my mind but twice now and this time I spoke to them on the phone directly and looked at the app for appointments it was definitely 5:30.

Negative experience: Just a suggestion - management needs to address the card scanner issue at the Fairfield gym for after hours. It's become a routine to either wait outside until someone comes for the rescue or manually sign in due to the scanner not being able to read the card (which is in good condition as its covered with tape). The presence of a sign-in sheet indicates this is an ongoing problem for a lot of members. A possible solution could be repairing the scanner or considering an upgrade to tag-based access. This issue has been there for a while, so considering changing gyms where they have decent tag access if there's no improvement.

Negative experience: Wanted I.d. wanted certain number of kids to adult ratio (ok coz i had someone with me but what about single mums and dads?) Had some issues with payment and chased me and wanted me to do it right there and then while the small kids were in the water (am I not supposed to be supervising them?). Just too much extra work to go to the pool and also I don't know anywhere else that wants I.d. to go into a pool I am paying money to upkeep through rates and such.

Positive experience: Thanks for Fairfield Municipality that we have a swimming pool in Fairfield BUT there's no cleaners to take care a bout the area to keep it clean & there's very OLD toy's & no update nothing's in this swimming pool ^ yes the doing the building for outside door the swimming but this is more than TWO YEARS THEY BULD IT ...PLEASE RESPOND
Negative experience: The staff ruined our fun. It looks nowhere as fun as the photos. I got kicked in the back by a kid. We weren't allowed to use the equipment on display. I only had fun because of my cousin.
Fantastic experience: Such a fun and cheap outing for the whole family! Great water park and well maintained facilities. Lots of space to set up a picnic rug and make a day of it.
Negative experience: Upon wanting to swim once off I was asked to show my drivers licence or photo I’d- which I found intrusive. 2- they the said they need to take a picture of me again privacy breach in my book I certainly didn’t want to but had to just for once off swim. 3. Asked for phone number. 4.one off swim is 10$ so not a cheap swim for what is there- provided which were poor- spa couldn’t see one- toilets told we’re old- security guard standing on grounds at pool.odd never seen before 5. If we forgot googles in car to go back to get need to pay again to enter which is exorbitant. . Public park advertises can come into pool anytime to buy food— yet we cannt go out to get something from our car. Must be a bad area as public park has 4-5 stations of security cameras with multiple cameras attached - great public park but many things breaches privacy rather go to city pool. They don’t ask for my photo etc. for a swim.
Positive experience: Nice leisure centre, my only complaint is that to exit the pool area with a pram you have to shout and wave your hands at the staff on the desk.or hope another customer will get their attention so that can open the gate to allow the pram out. Also, not happy that they stopped the creche

Negative experience: The staff is HORRIBLE, especially the manger during my stay I felt disrespected and they were being so racist, they wouldn’t listen to us but when a white person would say the same they would do it straight away, I hope no one goes through that and personally I wouldn’t recommend it, raging waters is so much better.

Fantastic experience: Me and my kids loving going to the Fairfield leisure center to swim. The water park for the kids is amazing, the food from the canteen is so good and very reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back
Negative experience: Outdoor swimming pool has two lines supposed for laps swimmers, however people standing, playing and occupied these two lining without swimming. I am a laps swimmer and keep bumping into these non swimming people.The staffs turn the blind eyes and do nothing about it. Seems like no body care!
Fantastic experience: just wanted to put it out there for the best trainers in this leisure centre that look after my brother with disability so big thanks to the following trainers : Lisa and Anna for giving the best hospitality for my brother so big thank you to these both and pretty satisfied with the services they provide would definitely recommend :)
Negative experience: Had lots of fun but 2 complaints. 1- I think his name was Abdullah (the guy with a Bob Marley bun) was very rude, my 7 yr old finally worked up the courage to go on a big slide, he had just closed the ride and would accept just 2 more people going on a ride that had only 2 people in the que. My son was very upset. Surely he could've made an exception for 1 more minute for the ride. 2- understaffed, many joint slides only had 1 staff, taking very long times for each ride for the next person to get the go ahead even though the person prior was off the slide long ago
Negative experience: The manager Donna in Fairfield leisure centres never learn to be nice with customers, has cold blood, also teaching their staff do the same. Money is the most important to them. I am membership of Cabravale Centre, today 23/8 the pool is closed I confirmed with a staff yesterday that I could use fitness and pool in Fairfield Centre, I went to Fairfield Centre,they didn't allow me to use anything else only pool, sauna is closed, I asked to use weight lifting in the gym, Lina said the staff in Cabravale misleaded and refused, 3 times mentioned I didn't pay enough to use the gym here
Positive experience: In regards to the gym, it's pretty decent. Not crowded, variety of machines, free personal trainer consultation included in the membership and plenty of cardio machines. Also it being 24/7 gym works really well.
Negative experience: Really rude staffs. And bad service at all. They change instructor any time and we do not know who is my sons 's one everytime we come. Did not received any sorry from their mouth. But they tried to blame and put their mistakes on me . They told i had to find my instructor by myself ( of course i did , but all instructors was busy in the water so i could not ask them anything ). Never come back again And highly not recommend

Positive experience: Friendly helpful staff. Heaps of classes for every level of fitness and the gym is very big. They even have a sauna which I find lovely after a morning swim. For a community center their bathrooms are relatively clean. Overall nice place to visit
Negative experience: Never ever get a membership at this centre. They are thieves. My dad got membership card in 2020 for swimming pool And after a week he went to cancel his membership and gave the key back to one of their staffs and asked her to cancel his membership. The lady took the key and said will do it. After 2 and a half years they send us emails and charged us from 2020 till now. They are thieves. Don’t get a membership in their gym or swimming pool.
Negative experience: I was trying to post 0 stars and it wouldn't allow me. Hopefully someone competent can give the young workers a lesson in manners. Today on Australia Day a family were publicly humiliated while waiting to get in the pool which the guy kept saying at capacity and which clearly wasn't. A Female staff told the kids "Go home and have a bath!" And laughed I felt so sorry for this family having to leave and to hear this comment. Very unprofessional.
Positive experience: I come here to access the squash courts which is clean and in pretty good nick. Staff is friendly. There is also sufficient amount of parking on a moderate day however this will differ on weekend - where crowds flock in to access the pools especially when the weather is good and sun is out. Some of the amenities need more maintenance - one of the shower doors in the male bathrooms is very prone to jamming which is yet to fixed up.

Negative experience: I could have written the exact same review as "Mia" and "Jessica Tran" very disappointing. outdoor water play doesn't get turned on during the day (school hours) this is supposed to serve the community what about the preschool aged children? what about the homeschool children. Makes you wear a mask on entry yet you don't wear one while you 2cm away from other people while using the facility what a joke!
Negative experience: Poor management, lack of customer service from the girls at the front very rude & demanding, no respect or feeling of being welcomed just wheres your masks and you need ID like your entering a nightclub process of going too a public pool is ridiculous & never heard of two pools being open and two being closed (kids pools) so lazy and inconvenient they literally going to wait for something bad too happen for them to open their eyes and realise it wasn't worth what there pool structure is. will never be wasting my time and money at this place & probably the worst pool I've been too in Sydney hands down.
Negative experience: WORST GYM EVER, we paid our weekly payments and they accused us by saying we didn’t even though we have proof on our statements and when we emailed them the receipts and everything they charged and doubled our memberships extra which is thieving off us and then they tell us that apparently the manager is gonna give us a “2 week approval” for us to leave apparently. However this isn’t acceptable and they are a trap and try to trap you in think twice before signing up to this gym! They even stalk you from the cameras and write text messages to you each time you forget something by mistake for a day it’s creepy and very uncomfortable I couldn’t workout properly.

Positive experience: I have been a regular member in Fairfield since 2005, the pool is my thing - but - I and my fellow Aqua members have intermittent complains with the indoor pool water temperature. It is up and down daily and for us mostly, seniors with our health conditions, this is not good for us. Please don't feed us anymore excuses, we have heard all of them already and also the offer to use Cabravale. Thanks for your attention. Jutta Fuhrmans

Positive experience: Booked a half court for an hour on a Thursday night. Staff were very lovely during booking and welcomed us warmly at the centre. Only complaint I had was that we had informed them we were booking the court for basketball, however when we got there, the basketball ring wasn't set up and there was still a soccer goal frame that was on the court.
Positive experience: Great pool to take kids (toddler and bigger kids), next to the park which is handy. Change room is not as clean, not sure why people just leave their rubbish eveyrwhere... we went on the Aus day long weekend though so its pretty pack.
