Positive experience: Very handy for training my swimming, but lots of kid swim clubs come in the indoor pools and only make the outside pool available, which I enjoy doing outside laps, but it is annoying because I paid money to swim here.

Fantastic experience: Exceptionally good facility (gym). Equipment gets repaired fast. Nice community. Good operating hours. Lots of staff on hand. Showers and change rooms are excellent.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member for 5 months and now I decided to do a review. Craigie Leisure Center has everything we need and they have very nice plus (which is rare now a days) which is the vibe of the staff. They always helpful and they look happy in what they are doing. My family and I always have a great time here and I’m happy to do this review because they deserved.

Fantastic experience: Amazing front reception for swimming are Carly and Eve, they bring accessible to next level, I love to have conversation with them in Auslan. They amazing fast learning. They make my Deaf Client feel welcome everytime we visit.

Positive experience: Pluses. Good saunas. Swimming options good considering how popular it is. Minuses Ive had a few run ins with gym staff and front desk people. It's a shame because it spoils my overall experience. So yeah I think the customer service has room for improvement.

Positive experience: Lots of changes but not that much to the pools that I noticed. Water cold in indoor pool lap pool. Don't know anything about the outside pools. Outside change rooms spacious and showers good. Inside - don't like no doors - only 2 had doors on showers. Otherwise , Friendly helpful staff, multi activities centre. Quite quiet really. Good Cafe, new outdoor eating looks great.

Negative experience: Just spoke with Sarah on the phone in regards to a membership cancellation, finding out some info, obviously didn’t like my question about the membership cancellation, so she hung up the phone, really disappointed in the lack of respect of her response

Fantastic experience: There's a lot going for Craigie leisure center, personally, I've got the all access, gym, swim and fitness class pass which is pretty good value. It seems pretty friendly, with good instructors for the most part.

Positive experience: Amazing outdoor 50m pool and facilities. Pool temperature is always spot on. Each area is kept up to date with renovations. The food area, seating, and car park were just done, and they're currently working on outdoor changing and toilet area. There are great spacious basketball facilities here too I have come across inexperienced lifeguards moving people with special needs to cater for a lady who complained about another ladies' perfume... disappointed with how they were treated. They never returned to the pool. A bit of additional training and recognition of special needs is required Otherwise, it's a fantastic facility

Positive experience: My favourite leisure centre in Perth has everything you need for fitness I just wish they would police the hygiene policies a bit better people not taking a towel in the sauna and people constantly getting in the spa without showering I'm always pulling people up on it

Positive experience: Heated walking lane has helped my recovery a great deal.' One problem is the many parents allowing little kids to play in walking lane near steps. Could lifeguards police this area better please.

Positive experience: There is no lockers. You have to walk with your stuff all the time and keep an eye on them...

Negative experience: Don't let full membership fool you, you don't have full access to everything when it suits you, they always have events on, restrictions or areas out of bounds. Kids jump in with adults in the pools and life guards just watch. We got kicked out the outside pool because they didn't have a walking lane. Indoors needs more ventilation. Floating sewerage not discovered for weeks. Nothing but issues from start till now and so we are changing!

Positive experience: Following the refurbishment, the gym is much improved. There is a lot more room and all brand new equipment. I have attended the facilities at lots of different times, and there was always a good mix of people from young through old male and female. There are lockers for members and unlocked shelves for casual to store your keys, etc. A good vibe there and well maintained gear.

Fantastic experience: It was fantastic! My Mum and I go there to do walking laps. I am rehabilitating after having a long term issue with my left side. The pool is so nice and warm. It's great to have somewhere to put your valuables while exercise. Oh and I LOVE saying hi to all the little cuties on my way past high fiving them each lap as I go past!!!

Fantastic experience: Our family really enjoys the swimming pool facilities at the Craigie Leisure Centre. This day on the school holidays, they haven't the usual inflatables for the holiday, I do believe due too the renovations currently ongoing. The Gym looks finished or is being finished. The carpark flows much better. The main toilets in the indoor pool area are being renovated presently with temporary indoor toilets near the spa area and the outdoor toilets are available. All in all,. actually very relaxing, smashing back my Chips and extra Strong Cappuccino... Delicious

Has a spa etc. We were there between 10 & 12 and it was madness with swimming lessons and very loud children. If you want to enjoy a quiet time and room to move, go before 9 and after 12. They open at 5am. Indie and outdoor pools. They also have a great gym. So many activities at Centre for all ages. Mothers with babies only $2 entry. Very cheap

Negative experience: 2 available lanes or maximum 3 is the new 10 lanes at Craigie Leisure Centre pool. No matter what time of day. Full price paying swimmers get stuck into 2, or on a good day maybe 3 lanes and there is no monitoring of swim etiquette in the lanes by the lifeguards who just stand around chatting. Not so great to get smacked in the face by an idiot doing butterfly in a lane with at least 10 swimmers. Swimming used to be stress relief. Not at Craigie.

Positive experience: Good gym been signed up for 2 years. Beware the carpark, probably the worst car park in perth for no reason other than people lose their minds, ignore one way signs/pull out without looking

Fantastic experience: Great place for families. Lots of facilities. Water play area is awesome. Very clean and well maintained. Parking can be a little busy. Cafe service is not great but it's ok.

Fantastic experience: Great rec centre. Plenty of space to go swimming whether it be in the indoor or outdoor pool. Gym is pretty decent too. Even some nice bball courts to post up ur mate or if ur feeling a little more game dunk and pull a facial on them instead.

Positive experience: Very hot day, pool & changing/shower faculties were great. But then we decided to grab a sandwich & coffee on the way out along which some chips for our little one. What an absolute disgrace 4 people in the cafe, 5 staff members, food was not edible & chips arrived 10 minutes later. Place was untidy & not particularly clean. Staff could just not be bothered, & all this for $44. BY ALL MEANS USE THE POOL BUT AT ALL COST AVOID THE CAFE !!!

Fantastic experience: Craigie Leisure centre's gym is well equipped, its run by city of joondalup. Prices are cheaper for gym and pool entry.

Positive experience: This place is becoming over crowded. The council should be investing in extending the 50m pool or building another one.

Negative experience: Unfortunately it isnt disabled swimmer friendly. They say they have a lane reserved for the disabled and elderly to swim safely in but the whole time u have to put up with kids jumping in the lane and their parents not stopping them. And unfortunately the life guards arent much help. Ive complained so many time to them and front desk but in the end just gave up and stopped coming.

Negative experience: Try and avoid over weekends at all costs. With all the Reno's and new cafe we were hoping for better service, but Saturdays are a massive let down. Highly recommend you get more cafe staff and also attend the pool side as equally as the other side. 15,20min wait for a coffee is not ok. And waiting ages to be served because you're on the pool side is not ok.

Negative experience: Had to wait 25 mins for a small chips which were cold and the bottom of the fryer. Them had to wait another 5 mins for sauce. The staff showed no interest in good service. Maybe they should get another job they might enjoy. Terrible service

Fantastic experience: I finally enrolled my son ( 23 months old) after 9 months of stop due to constant ear infection.. I can not thank the instructor( Sacha) enough for being funny and amazing. My son had the best time and is looking forward to the next lesson !!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Pools, bistro, and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Lots of choices for sports & activities. I used the indoor pool, which was well supervised and not crowded. Outdoor pools and water garden had only a couple of users. The gym and basketball courts were busy. Chips & hot chocolate were delicious! Lots of parking. Good for a day out!

Negative experience: Big on lanes and lessons, low on leisure. Two pools dedicated to lanes, half of one to kids lessons which leaves the shallow end of the kids pool free.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous centre, swimming pools for all ages. Great for kids. We take our grandson there for swimming lessons.

Negative experience: Way too many swim squads train here too often at all the times a person who works would want to swim. They try and pack all the paying members into a few lanes rather than limiting the numbers of the swim squads to a reasonable level.

Fantastic experience: I literally can not thank the swimming instructors here enough. The team who assist on Thursday mornings with the tots beginner class are honestly the best! They need a pay rise! My daughter Holly went from being scared to put her face in the water to basically being able to swim in 2 months. Absolutely thrilled and beyond grateful to this team. I would highly recommend Kerry, Brooke that does the 2-3yr old class, the lady with the slight South African accent (apologies I don't know names) and also the lady that does the assessments. Thank you thank you thank you all. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to take their kids for swimming lessons, couldn't be happier.

Fantastic experience: I bring my son here all the time to swim. The kids pool has a great layout and some fun attractions that keep him asking to come back.

Negative experience: We came for the inflatables and they closed it and then couldn't tell us when they would be back on. It was a bit disappointing as that was the reason I brought my family. There isn't really that much for kids to do. The staff were also not very helpful about when the inflatables would be available etc.

Positive experience: The new facility is amazing with excellent staff to help with any enquiries. Only 4 tho as pool is chilly. Which is usually warmer as heated by thermals underground.

Positive experience: Great facilities but don’t recommend the cafe. The kitchen was closed on a busy Saturday morning as had to get something cold from the display fridge. It had been there a very long time and was stale. The staff wouldn’t even heat it up in the microwave sighting the kitchen was closed. Coffee was okay overall a waste of money.

Positive experience: Haven't been there for a while, so when we turned in, we found the main entrance blocked. There were no signage as to where the temporary entrance was. We could see the Center is still in operation as there are cars parked there. We took the initiative to just drive up the road, turn left at the first turn and just followed the road until we saw an entry to the Center. Here's the direction if you you're caught in the same situation.

Fantastic experience: Craigie Leisure Centre has 1 large outdoor pool and a smaller indoor pool. There I also a wide range of classes to help keep you fit. There is also an indoor basketball court that is easy to access.

Fantastic experience: It's an excellent spot for swimming and gym exercises. The personnel is quite friendly and professional. The installations are good, and they would have a new gym in June. Well done, guys..

Negative experience: The maintenance/cleanliness at this place is pretty bad: missing taps/shower heads, lower water pressure in the showers and sometimes no hot water. There is a 50% chance that the TV on your treadmill at the gym will have no signal. The vending machines don't take cards. Unfortunately there are not any other places nearby that have the pool/spa/gym combo which is why I put up with it for so long. The Flexi membership is very inflexible - you still need to give 30 days notice to cancel membership despite getting charged fortnightly. Make sure your direct debit account has sufficient credit or you'll get stung with late fees if a charge isn't successful.

Positive experience: SwimFit squads were great for years, then management changed and coaches changed. Turned not great after a while. Management were rather annoying with emails towards the end.

Positive experience: Great gym and pool facilities are good but front desk really need to inform the public when nearly every lane is reserved and there is barely any play lanes for the kids especially on school holidays. It isn’t safe piling a bunch of children into a small swimming space where they are jumping on top of each other. Also it puts a lot of stress on the life guards having to tell children off constantly for playing in the reserved lane. Communication is key and it doesn’t hurt to inform paying customers of your lane situations.

Negative experience: Enquired about joining the Gym. Young Man couldn’t have been less interested once I said I wanted to join Casually. No Eye Contact and Looking all around when I was talking to him and generally not interested. Will go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Great local asset with Gym, indoor pools, sauns & steam rooms, outdoor pools, group fitness studios and basketball courts.Very reasonable gym memberships and the allowance to suspend membership while away makes this local council owned facility a real treasure.

Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience at the cragie Leisure Centre recently. The pool was absolutely packed with swimming lessons, leaving no lanes available for other patrons. It felt like a rip-off as I couldn't enjoy my swim.

Negative experience: I want quit because facility getting so busy crowded, parking sometimes impossible, years and years I was member not a issue but its simple I am not happy anymore and I want a cancel my membership or service but no Jim Carey (dumb and dumber ) hair style young guy told me I can’t, he can suspend my membership couple months if I want great solution duh well done idiot, my contract finish 4 months time anyway ok I will stay with you great service people, but no respect your business at all.

Fantastic experience: Staff is always super friendly. Classes are great. They host events and challenges to always keep things interesting for members and you get such good value for money. Can’t wait for the new gym to be done.

Positive experience: Go there for the pool. Feels slimy on floor sometimes or is it me just thinking that??!! Surprised how many band aids float by or are on the floor!! Ladies showers could do with an overhaul. But in saying that I do like how big the pool is & there are different lanes cordoned off for different levels of people.

Fantastic experience: Great swimming instructors. My 18m old has come on leaps and bounds since starting. I think this is the best leisure centre we have ever been to in WA in terms of all the different pools and the indoor and outdoor pools and the splash pad. If I had to say one thing that needs improvement it would be proper family change rooms with somewhere to put your little one while you get yourself showered/ready.

Negative experience: Poor Centre Management. Currently the water playground is not working, and the pool thermostat is under repair. That would all be fine if I was told beforehand and not made to pay, and enter, only to have to ask multiple staff members if the water playground was working (whilst having 2 small children in tow). Again, this might be okay if staff were helpful. However, 1 staff member just forgot to follow up when asked. When I asked for a refund because I couldn’t use the service I paid for, the staff instead gave me a family pass. The facilities (when they are working) are great.
