Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Switch fitness and Aqua classes here, plus using the gym and pool at other times, for the past six years. I love the sense of community spirit and the inclusiveness of this place. The pool is a great design that allows all ages and physical abilities to enter and exit with ease. And there are fitness classes tailored to different fitness levels and interests so that all can participate. The instructors are very knowledgeable and supportive, and reception staff and fellow centre users are friendly and welcoming. It’s also wonderful to have a cafe there for coffee and snacks. With its crèche and the auditorium for various ball sports, this centre has it all.

Fantastic experience: I joined Switch Gym at GSAC back in June 23 with a three month plan to lose weight and get fit so I could go bushwalking. I did that but enjoyed the experience so much I continued my membership after reaching that goal and now onto bigger and better things. The trainers are great, as are the other gym participants. All so supportive.

Fantastic experience: GSAC is a brilliant gym to attend. The staff our friendly, supportive, encouraging, helpful and knowledgeable and the environment is positive and friendly. There's a variety of class and excellent equipment for all ages, abilities and goals.

Fantastic experience: My daughter loves her swimming lessons and looks forward to them every week. She also loves going to the creche and visiting the staff in there. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Dear GSAC, Five years ago I registered my high needs foster child for a program. I discussed his needs in detail with the coordinator at that time. Fifteen minutes later I was called and asked to come and pick the 7 year old up as the coordinator was unable to cope. I was put in a terrible position as most other programs were fully booked. I have been receiving your emails for five years since then even though I have repeatedly requested that you take me off your mailing list. I wonder if I post this request on your Reviews information will I be successful this time? Warm regards

Fantastic experience: Kids had a great time in the pool, but it was a shame we had to wait 1.5 hours for Cafe to open. Also, charging grandparents & parents to watch kids is a bit ruff when there they are spending money in Cafe

Positive experience: Great swim space, very inclusive, love the shallow area for young ones and the sloped pool floor allowing anyone to access the water. Kids love the slide and inflatables when they're in action and fantastic that it's all indoors so enjoyable in any weather. Ventilation could be better, due to being indoors the chlorine smell is extremely strong, giving me a headache occasionally if we are there a ling time and some areas around pool are quite slippery and needed a pressure wash last time we visited.

Fantastic experience: Very nice facility, with gym, pickle ball, heated indoor pools with Aqua aerobic classes, lane swimming, refreshments, hot showers, and lovely layout. The staff are tops. The classes are especially good to have fun and socialise. I'm enjoying the 8am classes called Body Moves for one hour on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Positive experience: Our grandchildren are doing dance and swimming lessons there. You can get family discounts if you have a few family members going (this is with the dance not surecon the swimming). They have a kiosks there and charge moonbeams for their food. Some icecreams they charge $5. For. But the place is clean and tidy. They have showers and toilets which are also clean. There is a lot of parking, but can at times be hard to get a park.

Negative experience: My daughter went here on Saturday and since Sunday afternoon she has had the most horrendous cough and says her throat burns. Seen a Dr on Thursday and they said it's bronchitis most probably caused by poor air filtration. The gas from the chlorine has burned her air ways and she's now on steroid medication. I always wondered why I got a bad headache after going here. Please test the air quality and clean/fix the filtration.

Positive experience: Going to GSAC from years, staff is always been amazing. I felt unwelcoming and rude customer service from cafe staff today.

Negative experience: Really mixed feelings about this place. Change rooms are small with not enough facilities available. Water Wheel chairs are useless and nearly impossible to use in some cases. Screaming children (not crying), screaming every time they jump!! and the reverberation whilst inside is terrible....where are the parents to guide the children in social behaviour? Have fun children but please don't scream like wild banshees. The staff at front desk charge you depending on how they are feeling, so you never know what is the REAL cost of entry. Spectators are charged nearly the same price as swimmers and are expected to sit on cold uncomfortable aluminium benches.

Negative experience: Absolutely putrid....they will also insist that you pay $3.50 spector fee if your not swimming for what...over priced food and filthy surrounding areas ..the pool area absolutely smells.. ventilation doesn't seem to work because they keep opening doors to allow for fresh air...After paying almost $20 for 3 kids to get in they want more to sit in that germ ridden smelly pool..no wonder it's called the gsac ..smelly like an old b sack

Positive experience: The only problem with GSAC is they close their cafe at 11.45 they should stay open until at least 1pm for people wanting lunch and they could put on extra staff the poor girl is usually busy and can't serve everyone so we are standing around waiting all the time.

Positive experience: Older kids loves the slide, but it is only open 12-3pm weekends and school holidays. We love the cafe but not the $3.20 spectator fee - Rediculous!! Lots of parking only if no indoor soccer comp is on. Other than that we like the place
