ARC Swim Fitness Sport in Campbelltown offers an impressive range of facilities catering to families and individuals alike. With a large indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym, basketball courts and squash courts, it's a fantastic hub for sports and relaxation. Visitors appreciate the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with staff always ready to assist. The affordable pricing for entry, especially for kids, makes it an accessible choice for everyone!
Families enjoy the clean and well-maintained facilities, including a nice café serving delicious snacks at reasonable prices. Many users commend the café for its offerings, despite some recent feedback on quality. The wheelchair access and amenities are a plus for all visitors.
On the downside, some users have reported issues with pool cleanliness and uncomfortable water temperatures. The changing rooms could benefit from improvements as there are reports of them being overcrowded and not always well-maintained. Additionally, parking can be a challenge, particularly during peak times.
Overall, the ARC Swim Fitness Sport is highly recommended for its extensive sports options and friendly environment, making it a great choice for community fitness and enjoyment!

Thank you! You are welcome anytime!
Fantastic experience: ARC Campbelltown is a fantastic local spot, offering great value for money! The $8 kids entry fee makes it an affordable option for families and individuals looking for a fun and active day out. The on-site café is also a pleasant surprise, serving up delicious hot chips for just $5—crispy, fresh, and perfect for a snack after a swim or workout. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are always friendly. It's an excellent place to relax, recharge, and enjoy some affordable treats!
Positive experience: Water temperature is really low! It's absolutely cold!
Positive experience: I was swimming in the training pool today, the bottom of the pool was so dirty! There were hair, plastic sheets, mucus or phlegm and a thing that looked like a backing paper of the woman’s pads! so disgusting.
Fantastic experience: phoebe is awesome and made the membership sign up process super easy :-) thank you!!
Fantastic experience: There is a Sauna that can treat muscle pain when you go to the swimming pool. I visited this place countless times and bought goggles.
Positive experience: 두번째 방문 역시 좋았습니다. 세번째 방문을 기대합니다.

Fantastic experience: Beautifully appointed, so clean new & inviting. Great sports venue
Hi Lee! We are so glad you enjoyed your visit to the ARC. You are always welcome!
Positive experience: Awesome place to take the kids swimming. Very good facilities including sauna, large change rooms, toilets,
Negative experience: I have almost never experienced a place more overrated and over packed with people than this germ breeding petri dish of a dive. Not enough space like... Anywhere... Including parking. Avoid for any reasoning.
Fantastic experience: Increíble
Positive experience: Place is slowly getting rundown, things are getting broken through general wear and tear but no one willing to fix it in a hurry if at all. Toilets are smelly, probably due to lack of cleaner time.
Fantastic experience: Great facilities. Well maintained. Overall a great place for a wide variety of sports and fitness activities.
Fantastic experience: Great wheelchair accessible swimming pool and sauna. Other facilities available as well
Fantastic experience: The basketball courts are nice, and there are squash courts and 2 swimming pools and a gym + a crèche. The canteen is great also.
Hi C Howlum, Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Fantastic experience: Great indoor pool for the kids. A few things around the kids pool to play with. No outdoors are if you want to swim in the sun. Great prices. My 2y.o. FREE and my Concession only $8 very happy.
Fantastic experience: Such a great place for sporting events. Well seated areas that leave views to see the game being played.
Fantastic experience: The ARC Campbelltown is one of the best places for sports activities. Love this place! Often come here with friends and family. Highly recommended!
Hi! Thank you so much for your review. This motivates us to keep up the great work. See you next time!
Positive experience: Nice place, every age group can enjoy it. A number of activities are available. My kids enjoyed swimming and the basketball court. The canteen is very nice.stuff is very friendly.
Hi Mamta! Thank you for your review. We are glad that you and your children enjoyed the visit. See you next time!
Positive experience: Council should have made it a requirement to have sufficient parking space before approving it to be built, equally the centre should've thought of it as well. It's always hard to get a parking resulting increased amount of cars parked on the street thus narrowed streets with busy traffic. Not to mention the forever leaking ceiling in the swimming pool area, been years and still not fixed not sure if it ever will at this rate.
Fantastic experience: A great range of facilities.
Hi C Bagoli. Thank you for your review!
Positive experience: Friendly and helpful staff, with great on site facilities.
Thank you Mr Ed!
Positive experience: Parking was trouble free. Lanes were wider than the pool I usually go to. Wished it had a proper shower room though.

Positive experience: The food is not that great . I don’t know what happened to that place in the last two years. I remember the food at cafe was goo now is terrible. I ordered today cheese toasty and the cheese was yuk it was the cheap melted fake cheese on it for the price I use to pay when they had normal cheese on the toasties. Chicken roll? I received a big roll that contained 2 little burned edges from a schnitzel , you can’t call it chicken roll. Something has been happened to the food there. Another issue changing rooms are so disgusting. All wet and nobody cares it smells like pee in there lots of hair and toilet paper and its way to cold to get changed there in winter time. Plus sauna! Why people allowed to drink and pur water over their sweaty bodies inside the sauna? You need ti implement some hygiene rules for sauna for sauna visitors no washing off sweat inside the sauna and use towels while sitting on the wood!!! Its just gross.

Positive experience: Great facility but not enough parking.
Fantastic experience: Great courts, well kept, flexible hours, nice and clean, plenty of parking...

Fantastic experience: Nice place for school team, large toilets, parking place is busy but ok.
Hi Thieu, we appreciate your feedback. We hope you enjoyed your visit. We work every day to find solutions to every issue that impacts our members' and visitors' experience. Thanks!
Positive experience: Good pool for lap swimming. Most of the time there are multiple free lanes to swim in. Occasionally there is only one lane when they have kids swimming clubs doing swims. Love the free lockers. The water is cleaner than other pools I’ve been to although there is still often debris on the bottom.

Fantastic experience: This place is like one stop shop for fitness. And the Staff and instructors are just lovely.
Hi Haramrit! Thanks for your review!
Fantastic experience: It has been always a good experience at arc when I visited there. Earlier it was for playing basketball or badminton. Nowadays it’s for swimming. They also offer gym , squash, skating ( occasionally) and immunisation for kids.
Thank you for your review Jaspreet! Glad you enjoyed using the facilities at The ARC
Positive experience: My son attend for swimming week with his primary school and we ended up in the hospital due to eye irritation from the chlorine. He rubbed his eyes so much he scratched a hole in his cornea! Multiple parents also complained to school about skin irritation and reactions. I don't know if they over dosed the pool due to anticipating so many kids, but we've never had a problem before (I'm a member and generally like the facilities).
Hi Claire,Thank you for your feedback. The ARC was indirectly made aware of this in August last year, the week after the students came swimming with the Department of Education. At the time, our team reached out to the school to have a discussion about the feedback.I can confirm that the pool is on an automatic dosing system, so there was no over dosing in anticipation for larger bather loads. Our system is fully equipped to cope with this additional load and only doses in real time when required. Large groups are very common for our pool as even our afternoon Learn to Swim lessons provide a similar bather load to Department of Education school swimming. We also reviewed all of our pool tests that week, which occur every four hours, and levels remained consistent and within range over the entire week.We did advise the school that due to the longer time students spend in the water during swimming weeks, we do recommend students ensure they are wearing goggles all week and rinse off in our pool deck rinse off showers before and after they swim. This ensures the chlorine is rinsed off of their skin, as when chlorine reacts with sweat or dirt on the skin it can cause a reaction, which is very possible if students are returning back to school for recess and lunch or physical education lessons after their swimming. Students with sensitive skin can also utilise barrier creams that will help protect the skin against the additional exposure to chlorine that swimming weeks involve.I trust this provides you with reassurance that The ARC did take precautions and investigate after being informed of this situation and I sincerely hope these measures prevent anything like this happening again in the future.Kind regards,Chelsea
Fantastic experience: I have been using the pool for a month now and love it. I've had several knee surgeries and am preparing for another in a few weeks.and find it really enjoyable. I attend 5 times a week. The area set aside for rehab exercise is great. Well done to everyone
Thank you for your review Jo! So glad you are enjoying our facilities for your rehab. All the best with your upcoming surgery.
Positive experience: Very welcoming of families and friends.
Fantastic experience: A great gym, excellent facilities and not pretentious!
Fantastic experience: I am extremely impressed by the excellent facilities at the ARC. And all the staff is friendly and attentive.
Positive experience: love the facilities. dislike the carpark, a lot of children and adults attend the centre for therapy but may not have a disability per say and the carpark is extremely unfriendly for those who have physical challenges. the top carpark only accessible by HUGE flight of stairs, the carpark out back is a very long walk and the carpark out front Is disabled only so for me, I have a 2 year old who didnt yet walk, getting her in to the centre was a challenge every week. do hope they can do something about this in the future. not everyone attending the sports centre is a sports athlete. facilities are amazing though, always clean, cool and pool always warm.
Fantastic experience: Love that this place is such an activity hub for Adelaide residents of all ages. The swimming pools are huge with separate pools for toddlers, kids and adults. The gym is also clean, spaced out and not just for gym enthusiasts. They really encourage 55+ exercise and it is a welcoming space for anyone wanting just to get healthy without pressure.
Thank you for your lovely review Wisteria Lane! The ARC is definitely a space for all to enjoy
Fantastic experience: Classes are diverse and the facilities and atmosphere are good. Thank you.
Thanks for the wonderful review!
Fantastic experience: The place is great, family friendly and have very friendly staff. But there are very few shower rooms. Especially in the swimming pool, sometimes we need to wait in line for a while before we get a turn.
Fantastic experience: Love the pool … very welcoming of all ages and all sizes. Very nice environment for a weekend swim!
Thank you for the wonderful feedback Fiona!
Fantastic experience: We mainly use the pool facilities here. The facilities are always well staffed and clean. The Cafe is a good place for a bit to eat and priced well.
Thank you for the wonderful review Allan!
Fantastic experience: I visit regularly to use the pool. The quality of the pool is excellent, but comes with the usual issues of occasionally inconsiderate users. It would be nice if there were less kids in the exercise swimming lanes. Change facilities are decent, if a little small.
Fantastic experience: Modern equipment Big space to exercise, swimming, sauna etc.
Thanks for the wonderful review Nishu!
Positive experience: Great, warm pool, cool pool. Kids love it, I relax and just have fun. Thanks Guys.
Fantastic experience: Easy to locate and get too. Friendly helpful staff. Reasonable prices and awesome aquatic centre. Highly recommended for all family and friends.
Fantastic experience: Awesome place massive swimming pools gyms everything
Fantastic experience: Helpful staff. Using the pool for hydro therapy. Very good facility.
Thanks for the great review Stephen!
Fantastic experience: Great value full gym membership and the best squash courts (and Club) in Adelaide :)
Positive experience: Good Community facility but a flaw in basketball mode with no tiered seating for court 2 or to make Court 1 a genuine show court with pull out seating is going to be felt in many years to come when used in NBL1 mode. S
Fantastic experience: Our first visit ever, and it was for our child's birthday as a pool party. The whole process of booking and setting up the party ahead of time was so easy, and so much was included in the package! Tables were allocated and decorated for us, right next to an allocated swim area. The host on the day (Danielle) was great with the kids and they all had a ball. My son said it was his best birthday ever, and it was just what he wanted. Would definitely recommend the ARC for a pool party.
Fantastic experience: Great place for basketball and swimming facilities are great too
Fantastic experience: A great sporting centre possibly the best pool aquatic centre in the N /E of Adelaide. Good value memberships
Thanks for the amazing review John!
Negative experience: 1. Horrible management in swimming and shocking customer service. 2. 4-5 kids in a crowded small area for 30 minutes and cost $20.5. Apart from comforting crying kids, fitting goggles etc, each child at the end swims 3 minutes. 3. Stuffy and hot inside, high frequency staff change. Poop floating on the water so they had to close the pool to catch the poop. People urinate inside. 4. They keep children in one level until the next level has a spot. 5. Very crowded in the free playing area as well. People next to people. You are probably able to move, but not swim as you will bump on others. It is all about money. Please find yourself or your kids a better place.
Positive experience: Good spot for social badminton, need to prebook
Negative experience: It’s for Cafe, they increase the price for hot chips and reduce size as well, its ridiculous.
Positive experience: Good place, great for swimming with very large pools and good squash courts.
Positive experience: Decent gym, good centre, big place. Yeh I liked the Arc.
Positive experience: Great facilities. Be nice if reduced prices could be offered to Campbelltown ratepayers.
Fantastic experience: Great sporting complex. Heated pool, lap pool, jetted area, sauna, cafe, gym and a bunch of other facilities for different sports.
Fantastic experience: Great place awesome staff.. if ya have an issue just communicate and they will be happy to work with you. Thanks ARC staff
Fantastic experience: Only been swimming so far but great for the whole family from 3yo up to grandparents. Plenty of parking, and affordable prices.
Fantastic experience: My daughter loves the pool! And the staff have always been lovely and understanding.
Fantastic experience: The warmest swimming centre. Great for kids. Usually the pool is not too busy, although the carpark is usually very full due to all the other activities happening at the sports centre
Fantastic experience: ARC is a outstanding centre , the gym is welĺ equipped for everyone, the wet area is good ,however the Spar should be separate from the kids learning pool, as their is a lot of code Browns that the centre has too deal with . I use the cente 3 times a week for rehabilitation, Their are many sports you can do here ,check their Web site . Parking for guest with difficulty is a issue which the centre should address.
Positive experience: We got in trouble for going to canteen at 7 when closing by staff behind counter ..needed to be more communication between boat license course and centre to cater for needs
Negative experience: Facilities are great. However, poor management, lack of integrity, and racist undertones allude to an organisation which has their values in profit generation rather than caring for the community.
Positive experience: Facilities are nice. Pool was a bit too cold. Would it be great if it was better heated.
Fantastic experience: Great indoor sport complex including indoor swimming pool. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent facilities
Positive experience: School swimming lessons every year here are great, this year the change rooms were an issue and no notice was given out I hope this will be resolved by next year's lessons. Otherwise great
Fantastic experience: Great sports centre. Pool looks good, courts well set up and lit, squash courts look great!
Fantastic experience: Good place for the family. Nice cafe. Hot food. Lots of sports to choose from Including karate. Swimming. Basketball Netball volleyball grab some hot chips and a drink. Play some squash or pump some iron.
Fantastic experience: The pool is usually not too crowded, just ensure you don't forget anything, lost goggles and never saw again
Fantastic experience: My child has been taking swimming lessons for 5 years now and can't really fault the instructors. They know your childs swimming abilities and push them that little bit further to help improve their technique. Place is kept clean but it annoys me other swimmers not drying off and using change rooms outside the pool area, getting the floor wet and making it dangerous for court users.
Positive experience: This place is quiet popular, from squash courts and gyms to a masive swimming area for all ages. Toilets and restrooms are always clean. Usually busy but it is worth visiting.
Fantastic experience: Super place to create energy & happyness even all staff are well trained to gave much better service to all people
Fantastic experience: Fabulous facility with clean spaces my 2 year old absolutely loves her swimming classes and is becoming far more comfortable around water thanks to the patient instructors
Positive experience: The pool is a great place for the kids. I like to go lap swimming as well. The place is packed with people, sometimes it’s difficult to get a lane, but overall we like coming here often.
Fantastic experience: Very good set up, well organised. Clean and tidy. The pool instructors appeared to be very professional. Definitely worth taking the children for swimming training
Negative experience: Learn to Swim- their waitlist management and customer service are absolutely terrible. One of the girls in the LTS office is awfully patronising and condescending without actually explaining anything. Their manager is no different. Very stubborn and arrogant team overall.
Positive experience: Teachers are really good but, poor management unfortunately. Their website also is not good, having lots of issues. No update about upcoming events or maintenances, like if there is pre planned maintenance which causes swimming centre closing early, you won’t be able to know unless drive to the centre and see the printed notice at the entrance!
Positive experience: Usually come here for a bit of 25m lap swimming so can't comment on the gym or other indoor sports facilities. This is a busy centre so the car park is regularly busy also. The facilities are certainly new and modern and that has likely contributed to the popularity of kids swimming lessons. If you are looking to lap swim then pay attention to the online lap lane availability schedule and avoid peak times. Given the traffic in the pool, it is normally on the warm side but I'd say the water quality is fairly consistent in the lap area. There is a small sauna on site but this is frequently a sardine room of awkwardness! The designers certainly skipped the priority of providing sufficient room in the shower and change room facilities; there are only 4 shower cubicles, 2 tiny benches and a small number of lockers (nearly all broken).
Negative experience: Court 1 and 2 needs to be cleaned, they're super dusty. There is this one futsal bald man who is really disrespectful, especially towards minors. He should be banned, if not FIRED! Cafe - They take too long. Basketball - Some of the nets gets my ball stuck and is annoying since I make the majority of my shots. Vending Machine - PLEASE ACCEPT CASH so I don't have to go all the way to the cafe. Staff - They need to have more of a positive attitude, because they seem mad most of the time. Very few of the staffs are nice.
Negative experience: Fabulous staff and management. Cafeteria has nice food. But, Campbelltown council dropped the ball on planning in these areas Courts 3,4 and 5 have poor space around the courts. Air conditioning at these courts is poor. The showers at the pool are not enough, whereas the showers at the change rooms are too many and unused. Parking is not enough but everyone knows that Campbelltown council can't plan parking well.
Fantastic experience: There are 5 basketball indoor courts, and 2 could be available in many weekends due to other bookings of kids matches. Make sure to call them to check availability before going, as it's booked for events. Due to constant rains this option works best and the place is just great for casual shooting or social games.
Negative experience: Not impressed at all. The smell of chlorine was so over-powering I got an immediate migraine. How people go there and spend hours with their kids and not feel the effects I'll never know. The change rooms, showers and toilets were literally swimming in water and I almost fell twice. Parking was terrible. The lower car park barely holds 10 cars. The upper was fairly empty but I had to go down 2 flights of stairs that were quite high and of course them back up them. Considering I'm recovering from surgery, that wasn't fun. Won't be going back I'm afraid.
Fantastic experience: Great value for someone my age. Gym, pool and sauna and affordable. Lots of regular visitors so it's been quite social for me as well. Recommend it for all ages.
Fantastic experience: A great place for kids and adults alike. The pool is large and well ventilated although still stuffy on hot days so if you aren't planning on getting in on a hot day, bring plenty of water. Friendly staff. Nice little Cafe with a decent offering of healthy and unhealthy options. Courts for hire. Gym.
Negative experience: Coming casually to do laps, I was excited to check it out since returning to Adelaide, but was severely disappointed. For a new facility, it’s quite grotty. Change rooms were dirty and the tiles in the pool were grimey outside of the water. Everything is also very small. Lanes are usually booked leaving only 3 for laps. More suited for the elderly and children, given limited space for lap swimmer. Sauna is also incredibly small, but that doesn’t stop 10 people from piling in.
Fantastic experience: The ARC is great for swimming, especially little ones, the pool area has a play area for little tackers to enjoy as well a the pool for older kids and a second pool for laps and exercise & has a spa and sauna too. The car park does get very full and it's sometimes hard to get a park, in really busy days street parking is also full! The change room for parents can also get overcrowded as only one cubicle for changing and 2 shower cubicles (one shower is broken and has been for several months) so that's a bit inconvenient, especially when holding young babies/toddlers, trying to shower them when wet and slippery with one hand is hard enough, let alone holding the shower hear also. So we have to use the women's one sometimes. There is a cafe for all you food, drinks & snacks. They sell swim nappies also for $1 each which is super convenient! As well as goggles, swim aids, etc... My family and I love coming to the ARC for swimming lessons and for free play swimming. It's a well enjoyed place by our family.
Positive experience: I gave the ARC a go recently, the pool area is spacious, however the sauna is on the smaller side but works well, gym looks clean and plenty of equipment to choose from, ample parking and shower facilities. Did expect it to be slightly bigger but work the visit
Fantastic experience: Highly recommended Really happy with all the services. My son has been going to swimming class since 2017. We are so happy with the all the teachers and supervisors. I recently joined the jym, I loved the jym facilities and classes as well. Unfortunately I needed to cancel because of travelling overseas, it was so straightforward to do it, super easy.
Fantastic experience: I started going to the ARC after I injured my shoulder and my physio recommended hydrotherapy. It's an amazing place with 2 indoor heated pools, a spa, a sauna, a gym, and a variety of other sporting activities are all catered for. There's plenty of parking, free lockers, plenty of showers, toilets and change rooms. There are always lifeguards on duty and the pools are suitable for swimming, playing and exercising with wheelchair access. And there's a great cafe witg a good variety of food and drinks and they make great coffee. Everyone is friendly and the entire facility is well maintained and clean.
Fantastic experience: Member, use gym & pool. Good access to car park with good number of invalid parks. Friendly staff a good variety of opening hours. Photos in pool & gym not permitted. Not aware for other areas.
Negative experience: Good place but my daughter went here for her swimming lessons at school and asked help to one of the instructors and the instructor said no while the other kids asked for help and he helped them. He also screamed at my daughter for not wanting to go in the very deep end without a life jacket while the others were allowed to stay at the 1 meter end. I don’t know his name but he should not be making kids cry. Other instructors were really kind but the dude wasn’t. He is a brunette and has a puffy beard.
Fantastic experience: This was an awesome place to have fun, and play some sport!! Also great enjoying the beautiful swimming pool. Service was well presented. Overall happy with the price I paid to enjoy this magnificent setting!! Amazinggg
Positive experience: Tried out the swimming, spa pool and sauna facilities today and they were great! Walk in rate is 10 dollars for swimming only. Very clean and well maintained. I truly appreciate that the guards on duty seemed very vigilant (rather than bored, inattentive etc). Also love that the pool and spa has a wheelchair ramp. The spa pool has very weak jets which was a disappointment, but it is large and roomy for relaxation. The sauna is insanely cramped and has almost no lighting to speak of, but one must applause the genuine heat of the room. Changing rooms were clean and the showers well designed with dry shelf to keep your things. I will definitely be back and am now considering a longer passes.
Fantastic experience: Great facility for swimming. My little girl goes for swimming lessons and our coach Deb is just amazing. She is so caring and so warm towards all kids. We love her. Also all staff at the front desk have been really welcoming as well.
Negative experience: As a seasonal swimmer (outdoor pool in summer and indoor in winter) it is very disappointing that swim passes expire after 6 months. All outdoor pools in the area allow you to carry prepaid swims from 1 season to the next. Today I had to forfeit 11 swims because my pass had expired. Please change this!
Negative experience: I would say ARC is only a good place for family, not something for a single person. The female shower cubicle is terrible. Why? You will always see a mom with kids +/- a grandma (so 3 or 4 people from a family) using a cubicle. How long will it take for them to finish shower? Occasionally, a mom is taking her boy into the female bathroom. Why not using parent's changeroom? So you will find yourself waiting for quite a while till others finish their business. In addition, kids talk and sing loudly during the shower. Can you imagine the environment? I'm not saying there is something wrong with mom or kids using the shower cubicle; they have the right to use those shared facility. And of course, you cannot tell the kids to "shut up"; it is their nature to sing or yell loud whatsoever. My point is- the bathroom and shower cubicles can be super busy, noisy and overwhelming. Long story short, go to ARC when it's not busy, so you can have some space, enjoy the quietness. Otherwise, the overall experience is poor.
