Negative experience: I have been a Club Lime (Wollongong) member for quite some time and have noticed serious safety and behaviour issues that have not been addressed. At the beginning of 2025, I informed staff about a metal wire sticking out from one of the cable machines, but no action was taken. Today I saw three people get pricked by that same wire, which poses a real risk of blood-borne diseases. There are also a few men in the gym who regularly make inappropriate comments toward women while they work out, and I even saw one of them using drugs in the men’s toilet. I understand the staff cannot control everything, but stronger supervision and stricter policies are needed. I also witnessed a member verbally abusing and threatening another man simply because he would not give up a machine that he was already using. The aggressor claimed he was training for a competition and demanded the machine, then started using foul language and intimidating behaviour when the other member refused. I informed an Asian staff member about this incident, but again, no action was taken. Because of all these ongoing issues and the lack of responsibility shown by the staff, I have decided to quit my membership. It is disappointing to see a gym I once liked become unsafe and poorly managed.

Negative experience: When you cancel your membership, they continue to charge you for one month after your cancellation as per the contract you sign when registering. There is no (reasonable) way to circumvent this.

Fantastic experience: Club Lime Wollongong is hands down one of the best gyms I’ve trained at. It’s got a great layout, top-notch equipment, and a really relaxed, no-ego vibe which I love. Massive thanks to Sophie she’s always upbeat, helpful, and knows her stuff. Whether it’s a quick question or advice on technique, she’s always happy to help. Negative experience: Most regretted decision made by me in my 31 years of age is to join this club. Out of 5 months being with them i only have visited gym for 3 days and suspended my account due to medical reason and still got charged several times with dishonour fee as i am with Wollongong club they never answered my calls regarding my matter and i changed my card details and got charged several times . While i request further suspension due to surgery on my lower back again i got charged and i requested to cancel my account where they still charged though the notice was given to them. I would never ever again in my life will recommend this club at all.

Negative experience: In response to the answer of my complaint below: Why do you need my contact details. Just fix the problem !!! You don't need to write me personally, I do not need apologies. Just do what is right, fix your service, you can do better! Care about your business a little, or hire someone who cares. Wollongong Club Lime member. Very disappointing with the toilet facilities and change rooms. They barely get cleaned, clothes hooks are broken. I have asked number of times to clean the sauna and showers it has black spots residue from usage, mouldy black areas in the shower on the tiles. However; nothing has been addressed. Also the Sauna breaks quite often. How is this business is still running, beyond my understanding. You have privilege to be in the prime location, lift your game up. They do have good equipment, the staff is friendlish, clean exercises area. Ironic to have wipes in the gym everywhere but the bathroom, toilets and change rooms are horrendous. You have to change your cleaners. I am looking to join a different GYM.

Negative experience: I cancelled my membership over 2 years ago, and all of the sudden I have someone chasing me for 1.2k that’s unpaid!?? I haven’t used the facility as I was under the impression my membership was cancelled, but no. Staff cannot do their jobs. I have to pay for a mistake made by the employees! I then found out you could only cancel in your portal. Be careful signing up to this gym. They are money hungry and rude.

Negative experience: Mould everywhere. This gym could easily be 4-5 stars if the management actually would repair the broken equipment on time. The aircon is weak, which always leaves you covered in sweat and the bathrooms and full of mould. The management always deflects complaint and act powerless to act in repairing stuff... so no member concerns are answered in a reasonable time. Honestly, it's disappointing club lime HQ need to get their $hit together instead of running more sales every 2 weeks.

Negative experience: I was a member of club lime in Canberra and have always had good experience with all the gyms there but sadly, the one in Wollongong doesn’t live up to this. Staff are always rude. I tried greeting the reception staff a few times and for all occasions was blatantly ignored. I noticed they say hi to some members but not all. As a result, sadly, I’ll be canceling my membership at this gym and will try to find a new one. I’ve never been to a gym where staff/ front desk staff are so rude and quite clear about it too.

Positive experience: Tons of equipment and space, gets very busy in the afternoons, particularly with school students. The music is at a good volume and the selection is never repetitive. The music even has a selection screen, for you to add your own songs. The gym is clean and organised, especially since the reflooring. Only issue is the pricing, it is slightly higher than competing gyms, but does have some sales for new members. It would also be a good idea to add a bucket or storage area for the cable machine’s various handles.

Negative experience: I just joined up to the gym so it may not be a recurring thing but there are weights left everywhere. No one seems to put things back after use. There's also no designated spots or buckets for the cable machine attachments I spent 20 minutes today searching for the matching strap handle as I could only find one. The bathroom was not clean either.

Positive experience: Spacious Gym with some of the good quality work benches smith machines ,but also some of the important gym equipments found missing and there is also clumsy arrangement of machines plus. 3 stars are okay to survive at this gym.

Negative experience: Not impressed with the communication and off boarding experience. Inevitably your time at a gym will have to come to an end and these guys have made it awkward, inconvenient and very unclear as to what and how the process of leaving works. I emailed about leaving 3 months ago and they’re still charging me and taking days to get back to my emails. Great gyms are everywhere these days, I’d recommend getting around one of the other ones in the gong that is more personable and understanding.

Negative experience: Used to be an awesome gym that was really good and fair to all members but there might be new management because every week there seems to be a new fee/penalty added for all kinds of things, as well as higher member fees. Got my friend to sign up to their new 4/6weeks free deal since it seemed good but they take all the money out of your account anyways so don’t fall for it. There are ways for businesses to recoup loses after the pandemic but this isn’t it

Negative experience: Their direct debit system is very faulty. If you have an American card that it doesn't like they will reject it every week despite being valid and full of money. What makes this worse is that club lime charges an extra $20 every week for their mistake. No amount of account changes or talking to them can help. The gym itself is fine despite always being cluttered. Make sure you read the fine print of their contracts they also charge you for a month after you cancel. Absolutely ridiculous.

Called many times, left message. no calling back. So visited the site and talked to the assistant manager Paula, she told me the employee Matt left the company so anything he said is invalid. Talked to the manager Daniel, he is rude. Refused to give me the refund the previous employee promised. Be cautious of this club!!!
Fantastic experience: Clearly the best gym in Wollongong. Every bit of equipment you'll ever need, heaps of space for functional training, loads of squat racks. Huge change rooms and good vibes (no intimidation) throughout the gym, thanks to a diverse range of customers. A great location too!

The Club recently (over the last 3-4 months) underwent a $1 million refurbishment including full bathrooms, general gym, the introduction of an extensive 700m2 functional training area, and new equipment. Negative experience: Club Lime is a one star gym because of the poor customer focus and reliability. When equipment breaks has been broken for months. The locker room looks like a bomb went off with all the missing doors, & the sauna was broken for months before they fixed it. The staff are mostly friendly but I look for more than that when I train at a gym. Reconsider other gyms such as the Uni gym
Negative experience: Worst locker "upgrade", now you need to pay for a padlock out of your own pocket to secure your goods. Equipment broken for over a year, water station out of order for over a year. Something wrong about using your trainers to clean the gym.
Positive experience: One of the bigger gyms across Wollongong. Lots of parking. Huge range of gym equipment and even at its busiest there's always plenty of equipment available. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the reception staff (only some) are very rude, and the facilities i.e. bathrooms are not in the best shape. I would still recommend this gym though, as it's a lot better than ones close by. Justin the PT is the best person to go to if you need any help
Positive experience: Although a long time member, I would not recommend the club. They are not fixing water ingress problem for years now. They replaced a solid wooden floor with smelly plastic one. Unfortunately they are the only club offering a wide range of group exercises.

Positive experience: Massive gym and best value in Wollongong. Men's locker area is a real problem though, many locker doors have been torn off the hinges giving you the feeling of poor security.
Negative experience: After a few visits it's clear the culture here is pretty bad - no one re-racks, the equipment is old, limited, and in poor shape. The place is generally a mess. Toilets are dirty and no lockable lockers??
Negative experience: Fees jumped up with minimal notice and when you try to speak with the manager he is rude and constantly avoids getting back to you. Seems he is good at writing fake 5 star reviews of the gym on here though....
Fantastic experience: Best gym in town by far, huge club, heaps of group exercise classes, heaps of cardio equipment and weights, full ammenities, friendly staff, crèche, personal trainers, free parking and open 24hrs. You wouldn't want to go anywhere else once you have checked it out!
Fantastic experience: Spacious with a friendly vibe and reasonable price. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Every gym is busy when peak hour hits - the large variety of equipment here separates this gym from the others.
