Fantastic experience: Excellent gym! Very friendly and helpful staff, new n' clean equipment and overall great atmosphere. Would recommend the sessions especially the SF45/60 ones to anybody that's looking to feel more energetic throughout the day and wanting to get a better sleep.

Fantastic experience: Dropped in on a WOD at Strand CrossFit as I'm visiting from the U.S., this box is very unique as they have a portion of it outside which is awesome because it's right off the beach! The box is rather small, but filled with great people who are nothing but kind and welcoming! Should I ever return to Townsville I would definitely drop-in again.

Fantastic experience: Since starting Crossfit in January I have loved every sweaty moment. Everyone is so supportive no matter what fitness level. I would also like to be selected in Jacks fitness studies program for the sheer fact that any knowlege that I can gain to better myself and also help in his studies is invaluable. It sounds like an interesting study to participate in and also gain some insight about my posture etc. Very happy to be a guinea pig .

Fantastic experience: Did two drop in sessions here, both tough session. Location was great. There is space next to the pool which is in the shade to do barbell work. I payed $20 each time for the drop in session. Really enjoyed it here, will head back here soon no doubt :)

I look forward to coming to every training session :) the best part about going to a crossfit box is that you don't have to think of a workout to do because there's already one developed!

Fantastic experience: When I started Crossfit in August 2016 I had to wear a knee brace after having an ACL reco 15yrs ago. Now 7mths later I can run pain free, squat, jump without my knee brace, my mobility has not been this good since before my injury. The coaches are all accomplished and knowledgeable crossfitters in their own right and inspire members to achieve their personal goals. I cannot recommend Strand Crossfit enough, the view of the beach, Maggie Island and the great bunch off people make me wanting to come back everyday.
