Fantastic experience: Nice, clean gym. Plenty of space and equipment. Staff are friendly. $65 per month membership on debit is a bargain as far as I'm concerned for 24 hour access.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gem to find in the city! (Visiting from QLD brisbane) The lady at the front was amazing and helpful! Was in the powerlifting section and has great equipment and the people there friendly also! Went for a casual visit will be back when I'm back in Melbourne for sure! Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym. Great atmosphere, excellent range of machines. Comfortable environment for women with other patrons focused on their workout (I’m yet to encounter any leery guys at Dohertys). Staffed 24/7. Very reasonable rates. Women’s bathrooms are recently renovated and consistently lovely and clean.

Positive experience: A convenient gym in the CBD especially for casal go-ers between work or university breaks. Only bad thing is they upped their casual rates from $10-$20 :(

Fantastic experience: I attended Doherty's gym from October 2016 to March 2018. During that time, I used a monthly membership and attended the gym for about an hour and a half every weekday, and sometimes weekends. The staff were pleasant and conversational, the gym offered a wide selection of machines and freeweights, and the gym was always open. Sometimes it's hard to find equipment at peak-hour but it goes part and parcel with being a gym in the city. I had to cancel my membership because travelling to the city takes too long for me, and I'm in the Eastern suburbs. If anyone is on the fence about attending - take the plunge. You won't regret it - you'll get in better shape, make friends, and have a great time like I did.

Le matériel est old school mais de bonne qualité , très large choix d haltères , beaucoup de bancs et pas un crossfiteur a l'horizon. 10$ la séance en walkin. Le seul point négatif est la propreté de la salle c'est passable .

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! In a unique space of 4 connecting tunnels; it's hot, dirty, stinky and trashy. You could not ask for a better or real place to work out. Come here for a real workout. Just dirt and sweat!

Fantastic experience: Melbournes number 1 hardcore gym exact words from bodybuilder greats like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ronnie Coleman, Jay Cutler, Kai Greene the list goes on :D!! Its 4 long bunkers under the railway line, 1 is a boxing bunker, 1 is cardio, reception, mens & womens change/restrooms & the last 2 is for weights :). Majority of the equipment is fairly up to date apart from some dumbells & the boxing section :). While your training if your not wearing your head phones you'll hear people walking by & the train from time to time passing over you :). Interior of the gym like mirrors walls & layout are pretty basic & equipment is lined up and not in a jumble like most gyms :)!! They got a huge apparel range from shirts & shorts, to caps & belts & to many other accesories to list. I'm not a member myself but when i do train here i just pay the casual visit fee which is only $10 which is super cheap for what the majority of gyms would charge for a casual visit!! Upon the Entry they have a hair dresser to the left & a healthy cafe to your right for all your smoothies, coffees & meals. Also have a variety of Frozen meals for sale at Dohertys reception. Also the 2 best parts about this place is that it's practically in the heart of the city & its open 24/7 no excuses :)!!!
