ENRG Gymnastics

Fantastic experience: Enrolling our daughter at ENRG gymnastics has been the best decision for our family. From her first rec class she was obsessed and we have loved watching her progression into comp level. She has developed so much confidence and is thriving not just at gym but also at school. The senior coaches have a great rapport with the girls and are very experienced and professional. The girls are not just learning gymnastics skills but life lessons in resilience, respect and hard work, all whilst building great friendships with their teammates. Our youngest has also started this year and the junior coaches are very friendly and encouraging, she loves going every week and is having so much fun. Like anything your child will get out of it what they put into it. Thank you team ENRG for having such a positive impact on our kids ☺️

Fantastic experience: I find the coaching very professional, they prepare the young athletes for real competition, they have a very good balance between discipline and fun. This allows the girls especially my daughter to express herself while still remaining focused. No matter what gym you go to in Darwin, if you and your child really wants to achieve at a high level in gymnastics you will find yourself back at Enrg Gymnastics because they are the only qualified high level coaches in Darwin. I can only speak to what I have seen within my own daughter, who loves every second of her sessions, she has so much fun while learning the right competition etiquette, remaining focused and humble, no fluff.

Negative experience: Competitive gymnasts aren’t allowed to clap or encourage their peers during training (points deducted if they do clap their friends). Apparently clapping is only for competition. Very little feedback from coaches. Coaching is approached in a very hands off manner, which will work for some, but not others. They refused to allow my daughter to return to training after giving notice that she was changing clubs ( 2 weeks minimum notice required). She’s 6.

Negative experience: Did not answer phone upon trying to ring to discuss gymnastics levels prior to enrolling. Upon getting to this centre (after enrolling) tried to discuss my child's history and was spoken down to. Some staff appeared not interested and this was more like kindy gym at best for my 8 year old. Spent most the time lining up. Paid $580.00 for one lesson for 2 x children, staff admitted they had not used any money for insurances etc but still only returned $290.00, Could probably take to consumer affairs as I was not delivered what I was expecting, but I wont. So please be careful. Don't pay $290.00 for ONE LESSON like me :( I never write bad reviews but do not want this to happen to anyone else.

Fantastic experience: My children absolutely love this place! I have one daughter in competition classes and the other in recreational classes and they both can’t get enough - they both get very upset if they have to miss a class! The staff are very friendly and my children absolutely adore the coaches.
