Fantastic experience: Jasmine is awesome! Best gym I’ve been to, fresh equipment great atmosphere

Positive experience: Nice big open space, lots of machines and free weights to accommodate any training program. Just ensure to clean any equipment BEFORE you use it, especially the barbells, any barbell. There are lots of cleaning stations provided which is excellent , but rarely get used by the patrons, and NEVER by the PT's. Have spoken to management on numerous occasions in the past, still not one PT ever cleans the equipment after training clients. So 3 stars for equipment and the space.

Fantastic experience: First of all, I just want to say this is honestly one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to — if not the best. The environment is great, and I really don’t see myself switching gyms anytime soon. I’m very happy here! I just wanted to raise one small point as a constructive suggestion. I’ve noticed that some members tend to place multiple towels on different machines at once to “reserve” them. I understand everyone has limited time to train and wants to make the most of it, but this practice can make it difficult for other members, especially those who don’t feel comfortable asking to jump in or take turns. If possible, I’d like to kindly ask if the gym could address this with members so that everyone can enjoy the space more fairly. Of course, if this towel-reserving practice is officially allowed by the gym, no worries at all — I’ll simply try to adapt as best I can. Thanks so much for your attention and support!

Negative experience: ‘21.95 a week for a month membership’ should be $88, yet you end up paying $160 for all additional fees. So really you’re paying $40 a week, and you don’t get any of the fees back. No lockers, no hairdryer, no wifi. There’s 5 bench racks but only 3 adjustable benches by the weights that even work LOL, same broken chair has been there all week yet not even took away

Negative experience: Disappointing Experience at World Gym Cairns I had high expectations for World Gym Cairns, but my experience was far from satisfactory. The gym is dirty, with broken equipment and poorly maintained facilities. Almost all machines have ripped or broken handles, and weights are scattered everywhere, making it difficult to find what you need. It’s frustrating to see both members and even the personal trainer staff not wiping down equipment after use or using towels, which raises serious hygiene concerns. To top it off, gym attachments are carelessly shoved into boxes or left lying around on the floor. I expected much better from a gym of this reputation. Until these issues are addressed, I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

Fantastic experience: It’s 20 AUD per day, which is a bit on the pricey side, but I think it’s worth it. After all, the gyms in Japan are unimaginably small, and there are loads of machines here that I’ve never even tried before—so awesome! The members who train here are impressive, too. I really hope I get the chance to come back.

Negative experience: One of their assisted smith machine in the other area where members do strength training not main area one's was not properly bolt on the ground so if u do with 2 plates on each side the whole machine dis located and moved . I made complained and visually showed to the trainer ,she acknowledged that, but I think owner more worried about complexion of people. Haha hope so u understand it. Thanks , I have still proof . That's why I am saying it here.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best Gym in Cairns, if not Australia wide. Staff are awesome, equipment is the best I've ever encountered and the clients are super friendly. Full demographic gym that is friendly to all ages and levels.

Fantastic experience: called before I came in to make sure you did casual passes, which you did was greeted with a lovely lady behind the counter who was juggling making protein shakes and catering to my request! Absolutely smashed it! Loved her energy. Great gym, had an awesome workout and finished with a snicker protein shake 100% recommend ⭐️

Positive experience: Great facility. Plenty of equipment and adequte space even at peak times. Good mix of patrons during mid mornings when I usually attend. Only improvement I can see would be to retain casual staff a little longer, as the good ones seem to come and go too frequently.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with good quality equipment (mostly Hammer Strength and Life Fitness). Big selection of machines and multiples of the more popular machines. Staff is always nice and they offer a decent value casual weekly pass for travelers. They also offer a creche for non-members which is very cheap! I've been impressed every time I've gone here.

Negative experience: Called twice to cancel my membership, said need to email manager. I e-mailed the manager, said there's no email lol. Had to call again and talked to the manager directly. They could've cancelled my membership with the 30day notice 1 week earlier. Paying for nothing.

Gym facilities are great for any gym goer.. but if you’re new to the gym this gym may be too intimidating as they have a “gym bro” culture and influencers. Earlville Gym has no contracts great staff and good equipment. 16.95 per week too.

Positive experience: The good things.... The front desk staff in general is friendly. Shoutout to Ethan who signed us up! He's probably the most bubbly staff member I've interacted with and appreciated his help with the process. The other usual girl at the front desk in the morning is really helpful and nice too. I just forgot her name, sorry! But she has made me some really nice coffees that helped heaps with training. The usual morning cleaner here is a super hard worker and is very courteous as he goes about his cleaning which is really appreciated. He calls out before entering the womans bathroom unlike others, and he is very mindful of people around him as he is maneuvering around. The cafe is open decent hours through the day and you can get shakes, coffees, bars, snacks and ready-made meals when you want them, they stock protein powders and preworkouts, and there's some clothing too which seems good quality. I'll probably grt some near gear here! The gym is 24 hours so you can go whenever you want which is great. There's a cold water station available (but I dont think its filtered?), the classes are all included in the weekly price, there's a sauna in the males and females locker room each and showers available which are included as well. However... The equipment is not maintained very well. There are a couple loose pulleys, absolutely wrecked grips on several machines handles, and some handles that have been replaced do not match so you can use a machine and the grips for each hand are different (which isn't awful but can be annoying when youre trying to keep things even or balance muscles). The velcro for some of the equipment is completely wrecked and unusable and no replacements are kept. I was told to buy my own to bring in. We also have been overcharged a few times but they made sure that has been corrected thankfully. I noticed some personal trainers who seem like they could not care less about their clients and are inattentive and even scrolling on their phones rather than correcting their clients form or encouraging them. I would not book in with one myself as I don't see someone modelling what I want for my body. The inattentiveness and lack of passion for the clients fitness kinda goes against the boards around the gym about how good their trainers are and how good this gym is... Aren't the employees of a gym meant to be aspirational...? Don't get me wrong, there's a few super fit trainers who genuinely seem to care heaps, but in general I'd say they don't make me want to book one. Sorry! What I want in my body isn't just being lean and toned but for me it's about usable rather than just visible muscle, and im interested in calisthenics and freedom movement, so maybe I just want something too specific. I wish that more attention would be paid to what equipment gets used the most and double/triple up on those machines, and get rid of the doubles of ones that hardly get used because you can often wait ages to get a machine you want here because a few are super popular, meanwhile multiples of ones that get used a lot less that no one really waits for. The free weight area seems much more open and the machine area is really crammed together so maybe rearranging could be nice for adding in some extras of the popular ones. All in all we like coming here, we mostly just wish the equipment would get some love. And please turn up the AC!

Negative experience: The staff are SO rude. The girl with the bad fake lashes at the front desk put me off ever coming back. I would’ve used world regularly after work but I’ll stick with genesis where I don’t feel like I’ve inconvenienced the staff by coming in.

Positive experience: The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the equipment are clean and serviced regularly with plenty of space to move around other people. Times that are very busy are after 5.00pm and it is difficult to get on to some machines or cable machines as so many people using them. It is a great place to train fir your goals.

Fantastic experience: The gym is very good and stacked in terms of equipment. Staff also very friendly, Zac gave us a lift back to our hostel after being stranded due to the floods. 10/10 and would recommend.

Negative experience: Had been going to the gym for more then 5 years , missed one payment due to changing banks and I was charged with a $100.00 fee and it was an absolute pain to cancel my membership even when my contract was well past it's 12 month period . Toxic gym full of steroid users and is always to busy to get a machine or weights you want to use .

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms I've been to. Great equipment and heaps of room. My only gripe would be the really loud doof doof music to the point I can't even hear my own music "screamo" full bore. But other than that it's an awesome place to workout

Negative experience: Joined a 6 months contract and had to cancel due to moving away. All gyms I have ever been joined to will let someone take over your membership with a transfer fee and they will then see your contract out but World Gym will make them resign another 6-12 months and pay a transfer fee. Tried to transfer over to another World Gym and they will make you re sign starting your contract again instead of finishing out the original contract. Goodlife, anytime and Snap have always let the transfer of membership be simple but not the case with World Gym.

Let's try to be a little more understanding and client centered, or is that too much to ask? No other email info on the website so this is the only correspondence I could use.

Negative experience: Good equipment for sure. Handled covid poorly. Made life very difficult for those who wanted to jump off during hard times and leant very hard on policy to maximize revenue. Good for them. Bad for us. If you wanna stand around and hang out with other big dudes and chat about your body this is your place.

Fantastic experience: To me it's the best gym in Australia. I've been in every city visiting most gyms around the country the past 2 years, there's something about this place that's different. Amazing people, friendly stuff, clean gym good equipment. Perfect light, big clean mirrors, always someone there to give a spot and nice designed facility. 5 Stars guys, bought my first gym merch after 10 years body building addiction. Thank you! (stay away from the shake the hulk though, terrible stuff ❤️)

Fantastic experience: Large place, well maintained equipment. Les Mills group fitness and a cycle studio. Les Mills on demand also available. Great music, and I feel motivated when I go there. Also a cafe attached that does coffee and protein shakes. Has a small selection of branded clothing, and protein powder for sale. Never overly crowded
