Gympie Aquatic Recreation Centre

Fantastic experience: One of my favourite places to be,great people,awesome staff exercise inthe pool then relax outside with a culpa and mates. Can't get any better than that

Fantastic experience: Fantastic asset to the whole shire and even bordering shire areas, people happy to drive 1.5 hours to visit ARC. Excellent facilities, very clean and beautifully maintained. Very affordable entry fee for families with young kids. Wonderful water play area for small kids, with a huge bucket that pours water every 2 minutes. Really comfortable seating areas and a great little cafe, nice coffee. Change rooms were very pleasant and showers nice and warm. Very pleasant staff. Super responsive life guards, who are actively supervising and happy to redirect misbehaviour in teens, for everyone's safety. Excellent facility.

Fantastic experience: What an asset to Gympie. Well done!! There are so many amazing activities within the Aquatic and Recreation Centre. Large under cover heated pool, the 50mtr pool with some shade and wheelchair access ramp. The adventure water area with smaller slide and low level water for the little ones. Water slides for the bigger kids(be prepared to pay a little extra to use the big slides) There's a gym, BBQ area, food available at kiosk + more. Lot's of parking available

Fantastic experience: EXCELLENT atmosphere, stateof the art, clean and such a gr8 asset to Gympie....water is not laden with chemicals they leaves you feeling like you smelling like chlorine

Fantastic experience: Great facilities. Beautiful 50m outside pool. Heated 25m under cover pool. Plenty of seating. Cafe with breakfast meals and coffee. Very clean. Outside bike rack. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Amazing..... two pools, the largest an outdoor one... the smaller but still a large pool, indoor. Two side by side waterslides, one open the other a tube and then an area of fountains and slides and tipping buckets etc.... all beautifully landscaped with a separate gym.... very extensive and very well built covered areas joined together by an amazing covered walkway system.... has a 60's design feel about it. There is a canteen that sells coffee, lollies, chips etc but the chips and coffee weren't very nice and even though all the staff were lovely people they need some organisation behind the counter and it was apparent to an unqualified eye that the lifeguards couldn't be relied on to be at all the facilities watching customers, especially children at all times.... so go with your children.... don't rely on lifeguard supervision.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic facilites and all new. The waterslides are fully monitored, my children were on them for ages until my son had an accident. Staff were amazing, straight on to it and extremely attentive. They took my son straight to first aid and monitored him until he recovered. Thankyou.

Fantastic experience: Visited the centre whilst holidaying from Sydney. Was very impressed from the start with its clean and well thought out design. Theres fun to be had for all ages but out teens enjoyed the slide the most and the best part...no lines! Many shady vantage points for parents to sit in the shade and supervise, and the coffee was superb. Well staffed with lifeguards as well so parents can relax. Excellent family day out!

Fantastic experience: I love this place, lots of space, I love the heated pool. More seating would be better and a bit more shade on the grass next to to water park area. The price is a bit steep, ($8.50 for adult and 3yo) but all all its a great place and I will be going back in the future.

Fantastic experience: Really nice facilities, with 25 & 50 m pools. The 25 m pool is almost to hot to do laps, but perfect for small kids.

Fantastic experience: Its great place to swim. Good for family and friends recreation. It offers a gym kids water play area and an indoor and outdoor pool. For people doing laps and water aero the best time to come is at night between 6 to 8pm as there are very few people in the pool and you can have pool for yourself.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic family experience at this aquatic centre conveniently located in Gympie on the Sunnshie Coast. Well designed, clean and appealing. Beautiful pools but the highlight was the water slides which were hours of fun for our teens and cousins on holiday. Very reasonable prices, great facilities and friendly staff. We'll be back :)
