Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Hendra healthworks for 3 and a half years now and it’s completely ruined other gyms for me. Any time I go to another gym with a friend that lives far away the workout is just terrible because of how much better Hendra healthworks is. It has so much more to offer with great facilities and many friendly and helpful staff as well. It’s got a very welcoming atmosphere and the owner is also an incredible guy. Recommend to everyone I know in the area and bring mates in all the time.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Hendra Healthworks! The staff are always so friendly, helpful, and genuinely care about their members. The facilities are fantastic — well equipped, and there’s a great atmosphere no matter what time you train. Couldn’t recommend this gym more!

Negative experience: Emailed a cancellation request 9/6 to which I was emailed back stating I had to fill out a cancellation form in house. Called and spoke with staff who told me I could cancel over the phone as I was unable to attend in person and have moved. Still being billed well past 30 day terms. Spoke to staff who asked me if I had a screenshot of the call?!! Terrible customer service. Do not recommend

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of Healthworks Hendra for a few months now and I can confidently say it’s one of the best health and fitness centers I’ve encountered. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable staff who made me feel right at home. The facility itself is spacious and well-maintained, featuring a wide range of modern equipment that caters to all fitness levels. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey, you’ll find everything you need to achieve your goals. The cleanliness of the gym is also commendable, with regular sanitization practices in place. One of the standout features of Healthworks Hendra is their variety of group classes. I tried a few, and each session was engaging and motivating, led by enthusiastic instructors who are genuinely invested in helping members succeed. The community atmosphere is welcoming and encouraging, making it easy to stay motivated. I’m especially loving Loretta’s reformer pilates classes! Additionally, the personalized training programs are top-notch. The trainers take the time to understand your individual goals and create tailored workouts that are both effective and enjoyable. Fantastic experience: Best gym for value in Brisbane! There's an extensive collection of machines, free weights, state of the art cardio section (you can watch Netflix while you run), squeaky clean amenities (locker room for the ladies was so nice), a sizeable sauna and steam room, and oh boy - wait until you see the pool! Yes, it's saltwater & heated, surrounded by gorgeous shade trees (you can watch the sun set through them it's quite pretty) with wide lanes and a lovely rest area. Everything is quiet except for the sound of birds and the tennis court next to it (yeah - there's a tennis court too). Staff was super lovely and welcoming too. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Such a fantastic local spot to go workout and spend a few hours. Facilities are great, always clean, friendly service and a great selection of amazing classes. The reformer classes are really enjoyable, the instructors always offer a great workout with variety. Gym areas are well planned out with excellent equipment. A varied age range of members so always feels welcoming .

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym! Such a positive dynamic of people and a great community. Has many beneficial facilities and is very well looked after. Hendra Healthworks cares a lot for their members and will look after you while you are a member there!

Negative experience: The owner is lovely. The facilities are wonderful. They will charge you if you forget to sign into a class and I wasn't told for two weeks and ended up being charged an extra $90 on top of the $100 I was already paying a fortnight. I was never told this by the manager. When I queried this he abused me. He was so unprofessional I asked him several times not to attack me. He didn't stop. I was also spending $300 a fortnight on a trainer. Super expensive to be treated so rudely.

Positive experience: Great gym but certainly not the cheapest. The pool is great during weekdays but crowded on weekends. The equipment is in good condition and all areas look clean. Parking is a challenge sometimes. The reformer pilates classes are very good.

Fantastic experience: Came into this gym for the first time and was greeted by friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Positive vibes, and all the work-out equipment you need. Finished with a visit to the sauna followed by some relaxation by the pool. Next stop will be a hit of tennis and a Thai massage! 10/10 - Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have never been one to be motivated to go to the gym, but once joining Hendra Healthworks, that's all changed. All the staff are lovely, and the classes are great! Big shoutout to my PT Leah, she's helped motivate me to keep going, and I have never felt healthier. I highly recommend this gym if you are thinking of joining!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at Hendra Healthworks for almost a year and I have been super happy with all the facilities. It is more expensive than other gyms but the extra facilities make up for the extra cost. I am an avid tennis player so the tennis courts available are a big attraction and the pool is good to cool down in summer. The gym is clean and has all the equipment needed for a good workout while not being too busy even at the busiest hours. My only critique would be the courts could be maintained a little better but other than that I would definitely recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Healthworks Hendra for over 3 years now and I love this gym. The fitness and aqua classes are great (so many choices) and managed very well, so much fun and interaction with other people in these classes - while getting fit too! Add the tennis courts, sauna, steam room, all the upgrades recently, it is just such a great gym. The staff are so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They are always ready to go the extra mile to assist in any way they can. They make you feel so welcome.

Fantastic experience: When I moved to Banyo, I really struggled to find an affordable but well-equipped gym in the local area. Healthworks Hendra came to the rescue, and has been my go-to gym up until I've had to move again. A 24-hour access system would \have been preferable, but the gym is staffed till 10 pm most days anyway, so it' was rarely a problem. Thanks for the fantastic staff and facilities, Healthworks. I'm very sad to have to leave.

Fantastic experience: Contacted Healthworks Hendra through my work at Exact Radiology Newstead. We have a Dexa Body Composition Scanner which provides a comprehensive and precise information about your unique body. Offered two complimentary scans, Jared and Nathan took this offer up and through this I gained an understanding of their needs and their gym. Visited Healthworks Hendra and was blown away with the extensive facilities, professionalism of Jared and his staff. If you are looking to transform your body or become fitter and stronger no matter what your age, give Healthworks Hendra a call, they will get you and your body back on track.

Fantastic experience: I often joke to my friends that my gym is a country club .. but it pretty much is!! Tennis courts, heated pool, pilates, creche, sauna plus the cardio and strength equipment. And they just did a large reno during the Covid shutdown, and the bathrooms are all shcmick and the room where the classes are is also newly redone.

Fantastic experience: Easily the best gym/health and fitness centre I’ve ever been to. A really awesome variety of facilities and equipment. The staff there are amazing and the manager Jared seriously goes above and beyond for his members. Nothing fake or pretentious about this place. Everyone is made to feel part of the crew with constant support and encouragement. Can not recommend this place enough!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had several gym memberships in the past but Healthworks Hendra is by far and away the best gym I’ve ever been to. Great facilities, great people (staff & clients), great vibe. The only thing I’d fault is the reservation system for booking into reformer pilates classes which can get pretty frustrating, but I’ll still give 5 stars because the pilates classes are excellent if you can get a spot.

Fantastic experience: I joined nearly a year ago, I stay because I have the best PT Lea. Over the years I have tried many gyms and PT’s, so I have experience in this area. Lea is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She has come to understand what motivates me, and has seen me through some of the toughest moments of my life! This gym itself is well thought out, clean and has a pool - bonus! . I would highly recommend both - thanks Lea, you are appreciated!

Fantastic experience: I signed up to Healthworks Hendra in July 2020 and haven’t looked back. The grounds are beautiful, the staff are friendly and the facilities are top notch. Nothing beats a treadmill run with a view of a glistening pool and blue sky.

Fantastic experience: Right now when I need time out to clear your thoughts, the gym is my place. It's like an old fashioned country club with its friendly team and great facility offering (think tennis courts, swimming pool, multiple gym rooms and class timetable) yet contemporary recent refurb sees it looking great! I'd be lost without this place.

Fantastic experience: The team at Healthworks are so welcoming! They help with any question. Léa, my trainer, is fabulous! She is so motivating, pushes you when it’s hard and gives you heaps of support and checks-in regularly. Fantastic experience: I chose Healthworks Hendra because I love the ambiance of this place, located in a quiet, leafy suburb, surrounded by trees. It has a bit of a country club style atmosphere, which is great. Huge variety of equipment available, the post-reno facilities are simply amazing especially the sauna and steam room. The outdoor heated pool is awesome. Staff are super friendly and really go the extra mile to ensure their members best possible experience. Oh and let's not forget about the formidable little coffee shop they have onsite, I love an extra hot coffee straight after a workout! Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Perfectly located with impeccable grounds and facilities; Hendra Healthworks is one of Brisbane's best. It provides a variety of classes that allow me to develop flexibility, strength and stamina; and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Giving a huge shout out too to my PT Lea who helped me gain strength and fitness after an injury - she planned the perfect training schedule to help me recover and improve!
