Fantastic experience: Awesome space! Andy the manager and the rest of the coaching team genuinely care about your fitness journey.. the facility is a great open space, super modern and easy to access! I would highly recommend checking this place out

Fantastic experience: I have never been challenged like I have at this gym. It is predominantly cardio classes however there is an open gym which I use frequently and sauna/ compression boots. I love it here!

Fantastic experience: An awesome gym experience, not that I'm that experienced in them. Instructions were clear, equipment tip top and places to park nearby. Hurt Locker does what is says on the tin- I was hurting! (In a good way)

You're more than welcome to come down for one of our High performance sessions on a Saturday. 8am, and try us out.

Negative experience: Came to do a session with a friend on a Saturday morning, and enjoyed getting to workout with them, however I wouldn’t come back for another. No staff members spoke to me the whole time I was there so I didn’t really know what was going on, we were told what the workout was, but there wasn’t a warmup and then straight into 60 minutes of high intensity exercise. They didn’t explain any of the movements and I didn’t get any coaching or encouragement when I was working out except from my friend. Afterwards there wasn’t any stretching or cool down to relax the muscles, just a very quick wrap up and goodbye. Once again, glad to exercise with a friend, but couldn’t recommend to anyone, especially a beginner as I can see it being a very confronting or scary experience.

We are sorry that you felt this way.
As you can see by the large number of people in Saturdays class, our coaches might struggle to get to every single person.
We advise our members to do the quieter classes during the week if they are just starting out or are not confident with the movements.
The movements listed for a large class like Saturdays were exercises such as burpees, squats, push ups, ergos and DB bench press. all of which are quite common in all community functional gyms.
If you need a warm up, you can arrive early or start slower on you first few movements and move progressively through your ergos. if you want or need a cool down, you are more than welcome to stay back after the class and stretch and warm down.
