Negative experience: Very sneaky with their contracts. BUYER BEWARE. Zap ANZAC Rd closed down, Goodlife Cross Rd took over contracts but is 3.6k’s away. Called zap and goodlife to cancel my membership due to location and despite never signing up to goodlife, the 2 week cancellation period still applies. I called reception where they advised they cannot refund the 2 weeks I’ll be paying despite never to agreeing to the transfer of membership to a gym that isn’t local compared to other gyms. Very poor form willing to waive the cancellation period under these circumstances. AVOID.

Negative experience: This place stinks

Negative experience: Can we get some clean bathrooms? They are always filthy. Plus the stink of sewage upon arrival every time. Makes someone want to find a new gym. I’ve been with zap for almost 2 years. I like it. I love the equipment in the city & the staff are great. But it would be nice if the cleaning standards were raised.

Fantastic experience: UPDATE: There are now resistance bands and mirrors behind the squat racks. Appreciate working on feedback. The gym itself is clean and the variety of exercise equipment is adequate. Customer service has always been good for me. Action was fast each time I had a request, like changing my membership to just this specific gym and also "pausing" my regular weekly payments when I took a long holiday overseas.

Fantastic experience: Zap Fitness provides a pleasant workout experience with friendly staff and well-maintained facilities. Although there were minor leaks attributed to beer brewing from the restaurant above, staff clarified it wasn't sewage. A slight odor issue was promptly fixed by the attentive staff due to a technical fault. Overall, despite these minor inconveniences, Zap Fitness remains a great choice for fitness enthusiasts.

Negative experience: Poor experience cancelling the membership. I have paid the cancellation fee and it waived the outstanding membership fee and not be charge no more after the waiting 14day period of waiting. I kept getting message overdue payment and have talked to customer service but insisted I had outstanding payment. I was advised to call their third party debit payment company. Funny enough that they were able to resolve the issue instead Zap fitness.

Negative experience: The ceiling has been leaking with sewage water for months smelling really bad, being impossible to train there sometimes. It's unacceptable that in months they haven't fixed the problem. Disgusting.

Negative experience: The bad smell and leaking pipes from the roof need to be fixed asap. Smells like sewage, and is getting worse. The staff know about this, but nothing is being done about it!!!

Fantastic experience: Out of all the other Zap fitness gyms I have been to, this by far is the best one. It's bigger and more modern, good location.

Positive experience: This gym has good potential. Would be good to keep it clean do some minor maintenance and add a few more machines and people would go there more because the location is great.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. Gym is well cleaned and hygienic with basic disinfection wipes to help stop the spread of covid and it also has lots of equipment. Really happy with this Zap.

Negative experience: the pipe directly in the ceiling is ALWAYS leaking with sewage water dripping down in all parts of the gym and the stench is nauseating along with its uneven floors

Negative experience: My member ship was transformed to this place because the one I selected was closed without any Notice. And now your terrible customer service line never get through. What worse is that stupid provider called Debit Success charge extra 10 aud as twice the membership price as the so called overdue amount even after I updated my bank details in their stupid website. No one can be get through or communicate with，but all my money being stolen. If you want double the fee just say it at beginning. DO NOT change my membership location without Prior notice and refuse any calls about cancellation!!!!

Fantastic experience: I love this little gym in the city for those early morning workouts before work. When it comes to the equipment available, there is a good selection of equipment and it is all good quality and works well. The toilets are always clean, I haven't ever used the shower facilities here, however, I am sure they are clean too. I like going here, as it's never too busy and I am able to workout with what I need, and not wait for a machine or piece of equipment. It may get busier later in the day or evening. Some vegan options in the vending machine would be good but I usually have my own stuff at the office.

Positive experience: Been going to Jetts now ZAP for years. This gym has recently been given an inside overhaul and it looks much better than it did. Unfortunately there's a stale or musky smell in the 2 back weights room that is extremely hard to ignore on some days. I keep going back as it's cheap, but the facility is not the greatest.

Fantastic experience: Best gym I ever been to, clean, air conditioned and decked out with everything.

Negative experience: Cancelled my Gym membership at this gym because of a lack of proper equiptment. These guys still send bills months after going instore to cancel.

Negative experience: Won't debit from your account for months I personally went to the gym to tell them that i have funds but the auto debit isn't working They did nothing Then after few momths they sent me a SMS saying they will send debt collectors after me Cancelled my membership Not returning back

Negative experience: Not great after the re structure, very hot and smells like a public bathroom. Not great to have a gym underground.

Negative experience: I enjoyed my work out here but was terribly disappointed at how they handle my issue. When I signed up, I was told that I can cancel my membership after 1 month and have to give them 1 month notice. I thought it was perfect for me as I only had 2 months left in Adelaide before moving. Told them I want to terminate the membership and one of the guy told me he had done it. That was in Mid November. Realized I got charged end of December and they couldn't direct debit from my new card in January 2020 hence there's additional debts (they could have contacted me about that). I called them afterwards but they told me there are no record of cancellation (one told me there could me system error in ZAP Adelaide so how's that my fault?) and I couldn't provide evidence as I informed them upfront. Emailed them to explain but no one even reply my mail. Called them but phone was unattended. Got direct debited today again and they never provide evidence when my last payment gonna be. I think my bank gonna be dry. Don't give reason that you guys tried calling me and it went to miss call. I emailed ZAP Fitness Membership. SOS.

Negative experience: One of the worst gyms there is. The whole place has an uneven floor where your weights will constantly roll away from you. Also has a cockroach infestation. Stay away.

Negative experience: Arranged a"free workout and inspection" online and fully expected to become a member, visit was all confirmed. Arrived in my gym wear at the arranged time and no one from Zap met me at the agreed time, so I was left standing outside their locked CBD door knocking until I managed to enter after a member left. What I saw when I looked around was enough to convince me this gym wasn't for me, very basic equipment and the area smelt like it has inadequate ventilation. Hoping to pass on feedback directly when they followed up free pass, but no one bothered from zap. Overall the experience was disappointing all rather disappointing.
