Fitstop Mackay

Fantastic experience: Fitstop Mackay is incredible. As someone who has never lifted before, the coaches are so helpful and make sure you get your technique right and answer all your question- shoutout to corey, georgia, jay and Alex . The sense of community is amazing, I've just moved to mackay and it has helped it feel like a home away from home.

Fantastic experience: Amazing trainers, great music and good airconditioning. Pretty sure they've made me throw up and cry, but I love it. Best gym in Mackay hands down.

Fantastic experience: These guys know their stuff. Theyll accommodate injuries. Show you the exercises, correct form, will stretch it out with you start and finish. You'll know where your muscles are the next day but you'll want to go back for more

Fantastic experience: Absolute legends! I was only in town for a few days and found these guys. Great atmosphere, great equipment and great people.

Negative experience: I was approach in person to try the $39 intro for 2 weeks. I did not enjoy so didn’t return and have since been charged $108 and they locked me into a contact! Be careful as they won’t refund. Very disappointing charging a nurse $147 for one class. I participated in 1 intro session and tired to do a second one but did not enjoy it. Thanks

Fantastic experience: I have had the pleasure of training at both Fitstop Mackay and Rural View! Both sites have amazing trainers who want you to succeed and become stronger, fitter and healthier by giving you a 5star experience every time! The programming is great for those wanting to strive for their goals and for those just wanting to get their daily dose of exercise! Topped off with an amazing community of members. I wouldn't train anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: I’m originally from Melbs & I was in mackay for a week due to work. I’ve never been to Fitstop before & I advised them that I can only join for a week as I had to return to Melbs. The owner Jay was really friendly & accomodating (he helped me cancel my membership so I don’t get charged later). The trainers were friendly too, especially Hamilton. Since most of the exercises were new to me, he was keeping an eye on the new people to make sure we’re doing the exercises safely & helped me correct my form. I wasn’t expecting them to care that much since I only joined for a week. I really enjoyed the experience & would’ve continued if I stayed in Mackay or had a fitstop close to me in Melbs. I highly recommend to try it out

Fantastic experience: After moving to Mackay and giving f45 a trial I decided to change to Fitstop after walking past the gym one day as I noticed they had rigs either side of the room. The classes are never boring or slow and cover a range of cardio vs strength exercises and the team are pretty helpful checking in on form vs intensity. My only complaint is that they need some heavier kettlebells over 32kg. A full range would be ideal up to 40kg+ for some exercises. The people who go are friendly and helpful and seem to enjoy the group challenges. It's consistently challenging and I really enjoy every class.

Fantastic experience: Big shout out to Jay and the team at fitstop Mackay for hosting us for a hit out while we were in Mackay for work. Great venue, awesome crew and Jay and the team are super welcoming and really pushed me. Rate it highly, will definitely be back!!

Team Training at it's Finest! You get to Lift heavy AND work on proper technique. 'Wipeout Wednesday' as I like to call it - is the perfect way to celebrate your Midweek! And Sweat Sesh Saturday allows community members to join in on the fun for Free!

Fantastic experience: I love Fitstop! The trainers are amazing and fun and the workouts are great too. I’ve been able to work on myself and have managed to smash out my goals in a little over 2 months. It’s a great atmosphere and a wonderful friendly community.
