Friction Bouldering

Fantastic experience: Had a great climb here today with a mate. Very surprised and happy with the gym set up, had a kilter board which is a plus. The set climbs were fun, the climbs all felt pretty soft until around a 7-8 level. Holds are good, volumes are great, mats are good for a fall. Nothing to complain about, lots to be happy about.

Fantastic experience: This is my hang out place! The atmosphere is so awesome from the comradery to banter everyone is there to help, support and encourage you to reach the top of the wall! It's absolutely perfect for the whole family, starting at kids climbs grading all the way up for the elite and those who like a challenge! There's also table tennis and a Wii set up for while you're waiting for your muscles to rest then push your strength in the gym with weights and a range of things. The owners are absolutely lovely and I've made many friends with other climbers!

Fantastic experience: Great facility, friendly staff and very beginner-friendly. At the same time the gym offers plenty of options for advanced climbers to train. The kilterboard is the highlight of the gym in my opinion.

Fantastic experience: After becoming more interested in climbing in general, I found there was a great option for a local to participate in. In being relatively new to the sport/hobbie, I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The venue is a very nice place to spend time and climb which a great range of boulders which rotate every 6 weeks. I have now been back many times as I have purchased myself a membership. Great place and other climbers are very friendly and a great community to be a part of. Very kid friendly also. Jason tends to put up a kids' wall during school holidays, so there is more accessible climbing for all ages.

Fantastic experience: Great facilities here in Ballarat that we were not aware of till very recently. Plenty of climbing options with 8 levels of difficulty and a special section set up for kids during the school holidays. My kids loved it and were completely stuffed afterwards. It was very quiet while we were there and I think it's due to people not knowing they are there. With a bit of social media marketing this place would be buzzing. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Kids are keen to go back again soon.

Fantastic experience: A large variety of different types of climbing walls suitable for beginners to advanced climbers. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a change from a regular gym. They have a decent weekly membership package, which allows unlimited visits each week. It's a bit expensive for a single visit if you need to hire shoes.

Fantastic experience: Awesome new bouldering gym in Ballarat; they have a great range of problems from warm-up/beginner to some approx V7 to V9. Walls are pretty tall too, adds some spice!

Positive experience: Only went in to find our some details to possibly take my Grandchildren or / and our Guude group. However we met the owner who was very welcoming, delighted to show us round & encouraging for children to have a go. He was also willing to give me a discount for a larger group. I was impressed with the place & costs. This is a young man just starting up in his business so I do encourage everyone to go along have a go & support him.
