Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Fitstop South Gate enough! Dan is absolutely incredible — his energy, encouragement, and genuine care have made the entire experience something really special. The sense of community he’s helped build is so welcoming and uplifting. Every session is fun, motivating, and full of good vibes. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to push yourself further, this is the place to be. Massive shoutout to Dan for creating such a positive space — it honestly makes showing up so easy!

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Fitstop Southgate enough. Since the day i joined 8 months ago I have always felt welcomed and empowered by everyone there. My fitness and wellness has improved massively. If you have ever thought about trying fitstop, do it! You wont regret it.

Fantastic experience: Fitstop Southgate is an amazing community. The workouts are great and vibes are high. Loads of variety through Lift, Perform and Condition classes, children's corner, 12 week challenges, social events and so much more. It doesn't matter what your fitness level is, you will soon become part of the family and be dying to workout as often as you possibly can..maybe even join the Sunday run club

Fantastic experience: Couldn't recommend Fitstop Southgate highly enough. I had never really had the confidence to know where to start at the gym or the motivation to stick with it, but joined Fitstop 18 months ago on a whim with a friend. All the trainers and community at Southgate have been SO supportive and helpful and everything we do is adapted for a huge range of capabilities/strengths. The community is second to none, always hyping each other up and supporting each other to reach goals, and have built member lead extra sessions in like a Sunday run club and most importantly - the post session coffee on a Saturday. I've been able to see incredible results in my performance and fitness - from struggling to run 100m in the first session to completing longer runs and higher intensities workouts, and I love that the focus is always on performance rather than aesthetics/weight etc.

Fantastic experience: Such a welcoming and supportive space to workout in. They’re also super accommodating with kids, and it’s great that the kids corner is able to be seen from all corners of the gym. Thanks guys for making my gym come back an enjoyable one!

Fantastic experience: This place is so welcoming to people in all walks of life! As a mum I found it hard getting to a gym, but my life has changed since finding these guys! Can bring the little one along, and if he’s not happy in the play space he can sit in the pram nearby. Trainers are very knowledgeable and all round great people! The other members are all kind and helpful. Keep up the great work guys!

Fantastic experience: Amazing place, so family friendly. It hasn’t mattered what time session I have been too, if I need to take my daughter even on days the kids corner doesn’t have the awesome Tanya, the trainers don’t care. I have been able to wheel my daughter around as needed. The community it so supportive. The smallest wins are celebrated, at the end of every session everyone congratulations everyone on a job well done. Best place, I have ever been too to do a workout.

Fantastic experience: Joined up after a recc from a friend 8 weeks ago and cannot recommend Dan and the team highly enough :) I’ve never quite managed to sustain regular gym visits on my own steam, so having the planned sessions, trainers on hand to guide and adjust form, and groups of friendly encouraging people in your session makes such a massive difference. I’ve felt comfortable and supported from the very first session and already feel so much fitter and stronger. Never imagined I’d find myself loving going to the gym but here we are!!

Fantastic experience: A friend encouraged me to try Fitstop and I'm so glad I did, the team are so kind and inclusive and the people that attend are the same. Being a plus size gal I was very anxious about not being able to do the exercises but Dan and the team are always ready with alternatives if something is outside of my capacity. 1000% recommend anyone of any fitness level come and give it a go!

Fantastic experience: I've had nothing but the best experience at Fitstop. The trainers are so friendly, encouraging and supportive. From my first class I felt welcomed, the workouts are always different and always give you a full body workout. My fav class is Lift & perform. Would recommend Fitstop Southgate to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Joined Fitstop Southgate as I wasn't motivated/dedicated on my own at a normal gym. The coaches are welcoming, super friendly and supportive. I've learnt so much since they have opened, gained confidence in the gym and doing things I have never done before! Glad they opened and in such a great location as well.

Fantastic experience: I joined Fitstop 2 months ago and I never thought I'd say that I actually enjoy working out! All the trainers are lovely and really supportive, every session is different, and they really focus on getting your technique right so you can build your strength. I also really love the fact that their Unstoppable series is not about how much weight you can lose or "winning" but about achieving your own personal goal, whether it's a heavy deadlift, or being able to do just one chinup! All with support and encouragement from the trainers and the members. I highly recommend joining if you want to be part of a great fitness community.

Fantastic experience: 'I've got that FITSTOP feeling' The moment I walk in the door, I have a big smile on my face, everyone is so happy, full of energy, welcoming and pumped. Throughout my session Daniel and Ray are always right there to help out, give alternatives if you have an injury, are always interested in what you've been up to outside of fitstop and with high 5's all round, how could you not love it! Fantastic experience: I always thought I’d not be ‘fit’ enough to attend Fitstop; I was encouraged to try a free session. I plucked up the courage and I haven’t looked back!! I felt supported, encouraged and welcomed. The trainers always offer an alternative option for the exercises that this old body can’t do. I’ve felt hammered after each session but it’s a great feeling to get the day going! I’d recommend to anyone of any age and any fitness level! Give it a go!!!

Fantastic experience: For 3 years I had struggled and stopped focusing on my fitness. When I saw Fitstop was opening in Southgate, it was a big motivation for me to get back into the swing of things and focus back on my health and fitness. I’m so glad I signed up because the community is amazing, there are some familiar faces but many new ones and it has been a great way to connect with others. The trainers are awesome, they listen to the feedback of its members, they give great guidance and advice and they are just an awesome bunch and great for motivation especially when you feel like your about to die mid workout! Really glad we became part of the Fitstop family Great facilities, great programming and has a crèche. Love the availability of daily sweat where you are given a workout if you can’t make the gym to go train. Great for when you have to go away for holidays or work!

This place has helped shift my body composition, my health mindset, and how I feel about training altogether. I’ve had a few injuries over the years, and where I used to drop off, Dan and the team kept me moving—with alternate exercises tailored to what my physio recommended. That kind of support is rare. The training? Functional. Think a sweet spot between CrossFit and F45-style strength and conditioning. You can lift light or go heavy. Push to compete—or just focus on being 1% better than yesterday. It’s your workout, your pace, but with a community that’s got your back. The community here is something else. People know your name. There’s always a quick chat, a laugh, and encouragement flying around while you're training. It’s got heart. And the end-of-phase events? All about family, fun, and celebrating consistency—not just numbers on a scale. This isn’t a quick fix. It’s about shifting your mindset, creating a lifestyle, and investing in something better for yourself. Honestly, joining Fitstop Southgate has been one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Fantastic experience: I joined in the first week of Fitstop Southgate opening and I haven’t regretted it once. 6 weeks on and I’ve learnt so much and my fitness level is the best it’s been in years. The trainers are on hand to show correct form and technique and are so friendly and approachable. I’m so glad a ditched the old gym where I lost motivation. Group fitness with knowledgeable trainers is the way to go from now on.
