Fantastic experience: PT Fitness is an amazing gym. Not only is it supportive and welcoming, but it also has great equipment to get a great workout done. The owners, Joy and Charlie, are so friendly and have created the best atmosphere. I would highly recommend this gym to everyone :)

Fantastic experience: After trying a few different gyms in the bay, this is by far the best. I love it for having a real positive vibe to it, super kid friendly and very relaxed. The owner Joy will has always gone above and beyond for me, helping me with any questions I have, whether is be about nutrition, the equipment or perfecting my training. It stands by its name and has that real personal touch to it! I highly recommend it

Fantastic experience: Favourite gym to go to up in Port Stephens. They cater to my fitness and boxing needs whenever I’m up on holidays here. The gym is always clean and the owners are very friendly. Thanks for going out of your way on a public holiday (Good Friday) just so I could get my pass for the long weekend. Legend -J

This gym is fantastic and the owners were lovely enough to meet me at the gym on a public holiday to let me in so I could train. Great equipment, super clean. Highly recommend if you are passing through the area or looking for a gym to sign up too

Fantastic experience: Used my fitness passport here today. Amazing service by one of the owners, very accomodating and friendly! The gym has everything you need, while creating a very friendly atmosphere (I think everyone would feel welcomed). I loved the pictures around the gym of different athletes it had an ‘old school’ in a good way which is very refreshing from your mainstream gyms that all feel the same. Will be back here whenever in the area.

Fantastic experience: Easily the best gym in Salamander. Joy, the owner, is awesome. It is such a friendly place, has a great range of equipment and the place is spotless. A great place to have a workout including people visiting the area who want to workout while on holidays like me. Highly recommended.

There aren’t too many gyms that can give you 24hr access while you are visiting for such a good price. AND OVER CHRISTMAS! The facility is clean and well equipped. I had a really good experience and will be back when I visit!

Fantastic experience: I have been in Nelson Bay 3 times in the last 12 months and I cannot express enough how much I look forward to training here. Joy is one of the loveliest people I have met and walking in this gym is like a breath of fresh air. Everyone is so friendly and I look forward to coming in. This gym is easily the best gym i’ve been to and I look forward to my next trip so I can train here!

Fantastic experience: I personally am a member at Pt Fitness and living my journey so far , Joy messaged me one day out of the blue to give my teenage daughter access to the gym over the holiday period - as being an athlete Joy understand it’s imperative that an athlete does not stop training . Absolutely blown away by this offer and its really enabled my daughter to keep up the intense training that her sport requires ! Joy & Charlie will go the extra mile for any member and any visitor wanting to utilise their space !

Fantastic experience: Charlie the manager came in specially on a holiday to let us in for a casual visit while we were visiting the area. The gym was spacious and well equipped, with some interesting machines. It was not crowded. I cannot recommend it enough and the service from the manager was excellent.

Fantastic experience: Came here with teenage kids on a Sunday at the coast. Owner was there and couldn't have made us more welcome. Great equipment, set up and couldn't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I go to the gym every time we are in the Bay for a weekend get away, the staff are so friendly and the trainers are so knowledgeable, I think we spoke to someone called Pete? he was really nice with information, not full on and not condescending like I have experienced in the past. The owners have done a great job with this gym keeping it clean and tidy and you can just feel the love and passion they have for it. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: was up in the bay over the weekend and needed a gym Personal Touch Fitness was the first one that came up. the opening hours were great for my holiday. the personal trainers especially Peter helped with my squat and dead lift with a lot of attention and detail. He had a lot knowledge and in site to how the body worked. the gym was clean heaps of weight to work with and the equipment was amazing. the staff are awesome to.

Fantastic experience: Joy and Charlie have created a warm and welcoming gym. They have all the equipment you need for your workouts and prices are great! I also trained with Peter who is very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable during the workout, while providing an awesome, challenging session.

Fantastic experience: Both Charlie and Joy were very friendly, welcoming, and professional. (I was able to work out on Easter Sunday!!) The gym is well equipped, and easy to navigate. I highly recommend their gym if you are looking for a place to train whilst away or if you live locally. I would definitely come back again if I’m around the area again :)

Have personally appreciated Joy and her friendship for many years, so when returning back to the bay for a month, I couldn’t wait to see the new Personal Touch gym set up! Such a welcoming environment for the whole family and such a pleasure seeing inclusion of every member regardless of their fitness level. You don’t see that at many gyms! It really is a ‘personal touch’ and I can’t wait to be back!
