Zap Fitness 24/7 Hallett Cove

Negative experience: As i was partaking in my gym activities, i noticed a young man from behind me in the mirror, staring at me. He frightened me out of the gym, after reaching out to the staff for support, they encouraged the young man. I wil NOT be COMING back!!! after this interaction. . I hope this young man finds god. AMEN✝️✝️✝️

Fantastic experience: Good equipment and facilities, staffed enough that help is there if needed and a good community is created by other users. 24 hour access is helpful.

Negative experience: Totally overpriced for what it is compared to all other options. Facilities are dirty, worn, outdated, missing basic machinery & equipment. I've given feedback but no changes made. Staff are young and disinterested. Needs a deep clean and an upgrade. Luckily the members are kind and the culture is good.

Fantastic experience: Came from interstate for the Xmas break and walked in to ask how much was a casual session. The young man gave me a complimentary session for Xmas. Thank you for your service and generosity.

Positive experience: Has all the basics. Some equipment isn't suited for bigger people above 6ft. Staff are nice.

Positive experience: Love it here, close to home. It's always clean and not overly busy.

Negative experience: When you sign a 12 month contract then get serious medical issues that make it impossible to train or use facilities even sending work doctors certificate from flinders medical centre they will not cancel membership. Most they will do is put on hold for 6 weeks. Be careful not even good life or anytime fitness are that dodgy

Positive experience: I love the 24 hour access and this place has all the equipment i would expect at a gym. Staffed hours are very limited though. Some of the machines are getting a bit old and could be refreshed.

Negative experience: Here's the thing, I pay $8 a week, this gym is worth that much, I'm happy with the value. But this is most often a gross gym, with poor/very little ventilation, always has a warm musky smell of other people in it. They could have some windows with bars on them, or crank the ventilation up, but they recirculate air everyone has breathed. Yuck. For some reason every zap gym is like this, the managers have no idea. Gym equipment is often out of order, one day the showers were just not working at all without warning, but the worst part is they oversell and over crowd these kinds of cheap gyms. I'm getting my $8 worth, but am going to join a second gym I can enjoy, because I work out every day.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym...good mix of kit...great bunch of normal unpretentious people work out here to say hi to and good price.Also the Zap attendant fitness instructor is great...very friendly and always asks how you are.

Fantastic experience: Great facility staff are very professional and welcoming the local friend crowd that come to zap makes it the complete place to exercise and enjoy what you may do or what you may be after I recommend highly to those that are friendly and serious about there fitness and life style

Negative experience: Call centre where you can't speak to a real person is a RED FLAG!...give it a try, no matter what option selected, always directed to website and line dropped out.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym, loved the staff even if there is a complaint of staff not being there all the time.. friendly people working out also, what is the name of the girl who works there everyday???

Fantastic experience: Great Gym, The staff are wonderful, friendly, kind and helpful. (I'd especially like to give a Big shout out to PT Allyn, he is amazing, patient and friendly! I highly recommend him). I'm glad I found Zap Hallett Cove, great job guys keep it up.

Positive experience: I actually work at the dentist next door. But my boss tells me its a great gym.

Negative experience: No management , no full time staff , poor maintenance and dirty utilities . You have to communicate through a book ! Absolutely ridiculous. Moving to anytime fitness after making complaints to the manager who was also leaving and didn't take the matter seriously. It was a great gym when It was jetts but they really ruined it by cutting costs and getting rid of full time staff . You get what you pay for. Don't fall for a cheap membership fee.
